"Hey, actually... Where have you even been?" Joe asked me and Sou as we stepped into the pink room.

"Oh, just... found a hidden room." Sou replied casually.

Everyone was here.

"Well, onto the fateful moment... Let's roll." Keiji skillfully attached the parts to the doll torso placed there.

...Nothing's happening?

"Hey... Is it just me, or is the room going white?!"

Keiji's eyes widened,  "It's gas...!"

"P...Poison...?! Not good... we need to leave the room...!" Sou buried his face in his scarf.

I held my sleeve up to my mouth and subconsciously stepped closer to Sou.

The white gas filled up the room in the blink of an eye.

"It's not poison gas, everyone, so please relax." I didn't recognise the voice, "Ahaha. Good day."

The room cleared and there stood the doll.

"H... Huh?! Y... You're... The doll?!" Joe was just as confused as everyone else.

"Heeheehee... Yes, I am the doll that you just rescued. Advanced, am I not?"

Reko yelled, "Haaaaah?! The hell's goin' on here?!"

"It seems this place has no real logic.." I commented.

"Ahaha. As it happens, I have revived to tell you what is happening, and support you through the trials and tribulations to come." The doll smiled.

"Stay away from me, you creepy-ass puppet!!" Reko jumped back.

The doll stayed glued to its spot, "Ehehe. There's nothing to fear, you see? I will offer you all support..."

"I'm gonna ask!! Just what are you?!?" Sara demanded angrily.

"Ah, calm down." I sweat-dropped.

Keiji ignored me, "Tell the friendly policeman too. I'm not really following here..."

"Ehehe. Then we'll begin with my introduction...
Heehee. My name is Sue Miley, the Laughing Doll. I am the doll who will guide you on this floor. Ehee. My master has instructed me to guide you brave souls, who have overcome several trials, to the Main Game." She explained.

Sue Miley.....smiley?

"Your master... In other words, you're on the side of the kidnappers." Keiji stated.

"S... So you're our enemy?! Don't try and say you're not!!" Joe was jittery.

"Ahaha! How very serious! Ahaha!" Miley simply laughed.

"Stop laughin', asshole!! You wanna die?!" Reko yelled.

"Heehee... I'd rather not... No, I wouldn't like to be all torn up again..." Miley smiled, " Ehee... heehee... I know... I just have to tear you up first..."

Reko looked panicked, "Tear us up...?!"

"Ahahaha. As a warning, yes..."

"Wha?! M-My collar's... vibrating...!" Joe exclaimed, scared.

"Ehehe. Anyone will do, heehee. If it'll make you quiet..."

"W... What did you do?!"

"Eheehee, what indeed?"

"Hey!! Answer me!!"

"Ahaha, oh, very well." Miley laughed again, " I'm just making your collar explode. Ahaha, ahah."

"H... Huh?! No way...?! Wha...?!" Joe panicked, " Gh... Get it off... get this thing...!!"

"Ahaha! Get away, get away! It's dangerooous!"

Joe was hyperventilating, while everyone just watched.

There was silence for a moment.

"...That was a lie, of course. Eheehee... Did you enjoy it?" Miley mocked.

"A... A lie..." Joe's knees gave out, and he collapsed on the floor.

"That collar can't actually explode, after all."

"...You piece of shit...!!" Reko growled.

"Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!! Eheh, it's so funny, ahah, I can't, heehee, even talk, mweeheeheehee..."

"She's out of her mind, meow..." Gin looked at her, slightly afraid.

He slowly inched toward me, stepping behind me as if I was going to protect him from her.

"Why did you kidnap us?" I asked calmly.

"Ehehe... You don't know, do you... Eheehee. What I'm about to explain...is in regards *to* a fight you must take, ahaha, for your own destiny." Miley explained vaguely.

"What do you mean?" I asked another question.

"Heeheehee. A chosen 20... no. Ahaha... Is it only 12 now? Ohoho."

That explains all the names I didn't recognise on the blackboard in the bar.

Sara spoke up, "Who's your master?"

Miley didn't answer the question but instead said, "You will soon undergo a great trial in order to escape outside. As it has been prior, the superior will live, and the inferior will die - it is far from easy. One among you... will certainly die. And the person to die... Shall be decided by your own majority vote."

Majority vote? That's ridiculous.

"Eh...?" Kanna mumbled.

"I'm saying that you'll pick it yourselves. The one most unnecessary, hated, and acceptable to have die." Miley chuckled.

"Stop talkin' nonsense...!! Like we're gonna do somethin' like that!!" Q-taro exclaimed.

"Ahaha. Then by all means, starve to death here, all of you."

It was silent for a moment before Miley spoke again, "Ahaha, don't go so pale, everyone! I've got something good to hand out!"

Miley passed out some tablets and we all silently took them.

"Ehehe, does everyone have one now? Let us test the functionality with some actual use." Sue looked around to check we all had one, "When voting, if you know who voted for who, it turns into a quarrel, doesn't it? Eheehee... Thus, by voting with these tablets, you won't know who made what vote. Ehehe. As a test, try voting for whoever!"

I should vote for myself right?

Gin was shaking.

I spoke silently to him, "If everyone votes for themself then in theory we should all have the same amount of votes."

Gin nodded and voted for himself, "Thanks big sis
Y/n!"

"Yeah.." I decided to do the same and voted for myself.

A few moments later, the results were shown.

I have two votes?! That means someone other than me voted and most likely someone with no votes.

Sara locked gazes with me for a second before looking away, she looked guilty...

"Oh my... It appears to be a bit one-sided." Mishima exclaimed, he had the most votes, " Hm... So this is a tablet for voting..."

"Ahaha. Is there something you want to say?" Miley laughed.

"If you were a human, I suppose there would be. Something like, 'cease this, if you have a heart.' "

"Eheehee. Unfortunately, I do not."

"A pity..."

"Ehehe. More importantly, are you sure?"

"Hmm?"

"Do you really want those as your last words?" Sue smiled with a hint of malice.

Mishima became panicked, "What are you doing...?"

Sue didn't respond.

"It won't explode, will it...?"

"Ahaha, no, it won't explode..." she trailed off.

"...?! It's hot...!! Gaaah...! My neck...!!" Mishima screamed out.

The collar was visibly changing color.

"Aaaah...!!! AHHHHHHH...!! It burns...!! AHHHH...!!"

"Professor!! PROFESSOOOOOOOOR!!!" Nao yelled distressed.

A smell lingered in the air. A smell I'd never experienced before... The smell of human flesh burning... And the sound of blood evaporating...

Q-taro's voice boomed, 'Take it off!! Take it off, old man!"

Nao yelled, "NOOOOOOOO!! PROFESSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR!!!"

"Stay away!!" Professor Mishima pushed Nao away. And with that, he fell backwards in front of Kanna.

"Help!! The professor!! The professor's going to die!!"

"D...Don't!! If you touch that collar...!!" Joe yelled at Nao.

And then the professor stopped moving at all.

"Professor!! PROFESSOOOOOOOOR!!"

All I could hear was Kanna's sniffles and Sue's laughter.

"Hahahahahaha!! How unladylike. You wet yourself?"

What is this?

"A... Awful... Why would you do this...?!"

What the hell?

I was frozen in place, shocked from what I just witnessed.

Everyone's voices sounded faint.

"You've learned what a majority vote means from this experience, haven't you?"

"Everyone... everyone's a good person here...!! How can you do this...?! What did we do?! I won't let this stand...!!"

"Heehee... heeheehee... You annoy me, you powerless little girl... ...No. You sister-killer."

Stop it.

"I... I..."

"Hahaha, I saw all of it. How miserable you were in your First Trial, Kanna. Your actions killed your sister."

Stop it.

A loud thud sounded, breaking me out of my trance.

"Forgive me. The hand with the frying pan must have slipped." Kai had hit Miley.

"You little...!!" Blood trickled down her forehead.

"So even dolls bleed red."

"...Don't think you can do this... and just get away scot-free...!!"

"On the contrary... I ask that you don't think you'll be getting away with so little as this. I will have you pay for toying with people's lives." Kai seemed unfazed about what just happened.

"Dammit!! Damn it!! I'll remember this!! / I'll be waiting... on the grounds of the Main Game...!" She then left.

Mishima is dead.

Nao is sitting by the professor, dumbfounded.

Sou walks towards the door and on instinct I followed.

"Dammit! She got us!!" He exclaimed after reading the sign on the door that we hadn't noticed before.

'The Second Trial ~Practice Round~
This is a practice for the Main Game. The start is signaled by the doll's revival. Follow instructions and hold a majority vote. The one with the most votes is to be sacrificed. However, this is a practice round. If the votes come to a draw, the game is forfeit.'

"The Second Trial... It's named just like that first one we did..." Sou commented.

"If we had found this earlier...then maybe Mishima would..." I trailed off, unable to finish my sentence.

Sou placed his hand on my shoulder, "Don't blame yourself, everyone is to blame."

"But.." I was cut off as a pair of arms wrapped around my waist, my head leaning on their chest, "S-sou?"

Sou's fingers combed through my hair soothingly as he shushed me.

Tears escaped my eyes, I wasn't able to hold them in any longer.

I leant further into the hug, wrapping my arms around Sou's waist.

When we pulled apart, everyone has already left the room.

Sou looked away embarrassed, as if he acted without thinking.

I sniffed, wiping away my tears, "Thanks. Let's go investigate?"

Sou laughed nervously, "Yeah."

We walked into the main hallway to see a set of stairs leading down from the wall.

Those were definitely not there before.

Q-taro and Sara were both stood there.

"Now when'd this get here...!" Q-taro was just as confused as us.

"Don't tell me these stairs lead to..." Sara trailed off.

"Where could they lead?" I pondered out loud by accident.

Sou seemed to have moved on from earlier as he started talking, "I don't know... But... Miley left a few spots of blood. I'm sure she went up here."

"Miley...!!" Sara seemed to be listening to our conversation, "Did anyone else go up?"

"I only just got here, so I dunno... Has anyone gone missing?" Sou replied.

There was silence for a few seconds.

Sou shuffled on his feet, as if he was debating something in his head, before finally speaking, " More importantly, there's something I wanna show you."

Sara seemed surprised.

"Come to the back of the cafeteria. ...Please." Sou gently grabbed my wrist, pulling me along with him as he left.

I didn't protest and just stayed quiet.

"Miss Sara. This way, this way. We're over here..." Sou called out to her as she looked around confused.

"What...? Sou, is that you?" Sara held a lighter in our direction.

Sou was still holding my wrist, we hadn't spoken a word to each other on the way here.

The silence wasn't exactly uncomfortable despite this though.

We all went into the hidden room.

"Dark, isn't it? There's only the light from that stand." Sou commented.

"What did you want to show me in this place?"

"Check what's on the desk."

Sara walked towards the desk and noticed the laptop.

"Very intriguing, right? I did try starting it up. There's no power cord, but it seems to be running on battery power. So once the battery's dead, it's over. I want to investigate what's on it, but..." Sou sighed.

"What's on it?" Sara asked.

I huffed, "Didn't you just hear what Sou said? He wants to investigate it. We would've investigated it by now if it wasn't for the password."

Sara glared slightly at me as I refused to meet her gaze, instead, I stepped slightly behind Sou so he was shielding me from her view.

Sou stepped fully in front of me.

"I tried some random passwords, but all I accomplished was draining battery.You got any ideas?" He asked Sara

"Someone's name."

"Are you suggesting someone here owns it?" I moved to the side so I could partially see Sara, wondering why he stepped fully in front of me.

"Maybe or it could be a trap..." Sara didn't contribute anything else and instead left.

I turned to leave as well, but was stopped by someone grabbing my arm.

For some reason, it seemed Sou didn't want me to leave.

"Um.." I looked away, suddenly feeling nervous being around him alone, "Wouldn't it be better if I went and investigated over things while you try figure out the password? The more information we can gather the better."

Sou sighed releasing me, "I guess you're right."

"I'll tell you about anything else I find."

A/n the reason I'm writing this is because I played yttd and it's a great game and Shin is my favourite character along with Gin because he's so cute. So I was looking for shin fanfics and there were like three and none of them were completed and the longest one was like ten parts so I was like we need more. And if you want something done do it yourself. Unfortunately this fanfic will not be completed until the game is completed but when new parts come out I'll try to get new chapters our not too long after.
