Love Doesn't Exist
Jyushimatsu sat outside the hospital on a bench, casually eating his muffin. He hadn't realized how late it was in the day. Nearly three thirty P.M.
After he finished his muffin, he quickly ran all the way home to update his brothers on how Ichimatsu was doing.
But when he arrived home, everyone was gone, that is, except for Harvey and Choromatsu.
"Hey, Jyushimatsu," Choromatsu said. "Where have you been?"
"I was at the hospital!" he replied, still trying to catch his breath from running all the way home.
"Why?" Choromatsu asked, sitting up at the table in the living room. "Is there someone you know there?"
"Of course! Our brother, Ichimatsu
nii-san!" Jyushimatsu said somewhat angrily. He hadn't meant to, but it was hard to not be angry when your own brother can't remember his other brother.
"Oh, him," Choromatsu said in an uninterested tone of voice. "Tell him I said hi, will you?"
"He's always asleep though!" Jyushimatsu whimpered.
"Why? Is he in a coma or something?" Choromatsu asked, opening up a magazine.
"Yes!" Jyushimatsu replied.
"How did that happen?" Choromatsu asked.
"How can you not remember?!" Jyushimatsu whispered, grabbing his baseball bat from the corner of the room.
"Guess he's invisible half the time anyways," Choromatsu said.
Tears rolled down Jyushimatsu's cheeks when he heard those words.
"Why did you never care?" Jyushimatsu choked, running out of the house with his baseball bat.
He felt so upset, he just couldn't take it. He kept running and running, trying to forget what Choromatsu had just said, and before he knew it, his feet had led him to the beach.
Swinging his bat, Jyushimatsu cried, trying to take all of his pain away by doing such. He kept swinging it and swinging it, counting each time.
"Wake up, Ichimatsu! Wake up!" Jyushimatsu cried, swinging his baseball even harder. "I can't do this without you! First Homura-chan, now you...what's next? What's going to be taken away from me next, Ichimatsu?!"
