I woke up with a headache again. Everyone is gone and I am alone in this castle. Except for the servants and the guards other than that I am pretty much alone. Oh and let's not forget Monica but she rarely comes out of her tower. I do not know why she stays there all the time. I would die of bordom.

Hmmm why not visit her? Maybe she needs a firend and maybe she could give me a potions that would make me feel good.

After I was done with breakfast by myself I went up to the tower.

"What do you need Valentina." Says Monica not looking up at me while making a potion. How did she even know it was me.

"Wassup girl long time no see." I say walking in with a bottle of wine in my hand. I move some of my sliver hair out of my face. "So when was the last time that you have been out in the world?"

"Eighteen years ago and I do not plan on going back." She says. "Too much stupidity."

Wow her experience was probably bad. If Monica was to go werewolf city she would not want to go back in that tower after partying with me.

"Well I go out to the world a lot but I find it really lonely." I say. Monica sighs and finally looks at me for a while... almost as if she is in a trance. It is kind of creepy. She smirks. "Why do you not find yourself a boyfriend or something."

"I am not doing that when I have a mate out there that will love and care for me." I say.

I still have a dream that I will find my mate even though my three of my sister's experiences have not been rad...for example Aphrodite got rejected when she first met her mate then they fixed things and got back together, Brandy's mate was married and had a kid then divorced and that started a whole war in the giant people community and he lost the war so we still do not know if he is dead or alive which turned Brandy more bitter than ever and there is Venus who's mate cheated on her and been a huge d*** to her which ended up in her leaving him and having his baby because she accidentally got pregnant and then she met the hottest king in the world who is my friend Seth which started this odd relationship between them that she choose's not to acknowledge.

I think Seth has a things for MILFS. But then again Seth is nothing but bad news.

"You will find him soon enough." She says. Oh shit my heart beat went up.

"Do not speak to me in riddles and tell me!" I say. She smiles.

"I am a witch I can not help but do that but here is a clue...He is not to far." She says.

With that i run around the castle looking for the man of my dreams. I even went outside looking in the woods. Eight hours later it was sunset already And freaking Monica played me because when I came back from running in the woods with sticks and mud in my hair and body. she was laughing from the top of her tower. I got so mad that my whole body lit up on fire. I hate when she does things like this. No wonder I do not visit.

I do not appreciate when people play with the mate thing because I for one dream of my Mate. I wonder what he looks like. And if he will feed grapes to me. That is my dream goal.

Later that day my dinner got served. I finished and drank my alcohol. I walked around the castle wobbly as well as drunk. Until I reached a dark hallway.

This is the underground dungeon were the prisoners from the war are held and tortured to work. This is like the dark side of monarchs. The demons are here. I have never been here. In other words I want to explore this part of the castle.

I walked slowly to a door that is open. Where are the guards? It was so dark that. I had a small fire ball floating on the plam of my hand. I opened the door which lead me to some stairs. It was scary. I walked slowly. The stairs lead to a lower end of the castle. The catacombs. I had to walk a long way to reach another door. Which I opened.

The door handle had a code which had to be turned back and fourth. What the hell was this code. Then it hit me. I remeber when I was with dad and he took me to the treasure room which had the same door like this. I remeber how he turned the handle to get in.

I turn the handle left, right, all around, right and left the door opened.

Only to come across dirty cells which held tortured demons. They all look hella angry and disturbed. Once they saw me everything went quiet. Dang these demons looked badly beaten but... they look hot. Gosh I am such an asshole.

I walked down seeing each one of them. They all started to growl at me.

"Hey guys I come in peace?" I say throwing a peace sign. That is when I reached the end of the final cell. Something compelled me to walk towards it. I walked slow. Something danergous growled from the dark. I walk closer with my fire providing light. Only to come across. This dangerous looking guy that had scars all over his body, tan, really muscular. Looking like a real man.

He looked like a hot as fuck cave man.

Then it hit me. This is my mate. I stood there is shock. My mate is a demon... one of the men that tried to kill me, and my family.

Whatever! I do not care.

He is my mate. He looked at me as if realizing what I am to him. Oh my gosh please do not reject me!

"Come here girl."

Slowly my feet started to walk towards his deep voice. The shadows hiding his face a little bit. The small fire floating on my hand growing bigger trying to get a better look at my mate.

He looked sinister, evil, insane. As well as badly beaten, tortured. I could not stop the giddiness. He was tall. As tall as Raphael and that is huge but in my opinion my mate is better.

He grabs my wrist. Pulling my me closer to to him. The only thing sperating us is the bars from the cell. I was shocked. My fire was not burning him.

"Who are you little mate?" He says. He had a scary growl which shut all the other demons up real quick.

"Valentina." I say. Him touching me brought sparks and shivers all over my body.

"Princess Valentina." I hear royal guards call. I turn around to look at them. "Get your flithy hands off her you fucking animal."

The guards pulled me away from him. My mate looks shocked that I am the princess. As the guards took me away.

He growled out as if not liking that the guards touched me.

As we got out of the catacombs.

"Princess you are not allowed down in the cells." Says the Guard. "They dangerous."

I glared at him and walked away. And went to Monica in the tower.

"You knew!" I say walking in to her tower.

"Knew what?" She ask.

"That my mate was a demon."

She looked shocked.

"You are telling me that you found him." She grinned. "I never thought you would have but no I did not know who your mate was but congratulations."

He was in a cell getting tortured day by day for his crimes. I need to get him out of there. But if I do that I am committing treason to my people and family. Ever since the war happened. Demons have been looked down upon expect Raphael he is an exception plus people are afraid of him. He is half demon and wolf which makes him powerful as fuck.

I am torn between what I should do. I finally found my mate and he is in a cell. I want my mate to feed me grapes.

He looked surprised more than anything to see me. The rest of the day was spent thinking of how I am going to tell Aphrodite i am mated to a demon...that also did not seem to get burned by my fire... then it hit me he did not get burned by me!

I dug my spoon in my yogurt that I was eating in the dinning room then quickly stopped when I heard screaming. Some servants came running into the dinning room.

"Princess go to your room and lock the door." Say Destiny the servant.

I finished my wine.

"Why?"

"They escaped the demons are attacking the castle." She says grabbing my wrist running to my room and putting me there. "Lock the door."

My heart speed up. They are attacking my people. Gosh I need a drink. I heard fighting and screaming from the outside. Wind hit my back. Wait I did not leave my balcony door open. My room was dark. I turned around and lit up the room.

"You are coming with me." He says. Standing really close to me.

"What...why?" I asked shivering. He smiled sinister way. Until he bite the side of my neck.

My fired died down and took me to darkness.
