In the capital of a town called Erandor, a young man is seen chained to a platform that appears to be made of luminescent crystals. Did the young lad hold any anger from being in such a state?

Of course. It was not because he had killed an innocent - nay, it was because they feared him. Out of the many emotions humans display, fear is among the most primal. The young man was simply out of their comprehension of what power a human should "logically" have. Among them, his strength was beyond theirs.

One could say that the entire platform meant to keep him at bay is a sort of sealing ritual that costs nothing short of the treasuries of 13 nations. 

Tendrils of mana with ever-changing colors swirled towards both of the youth's hands - and in doing so, it seemed as if the planet's own gravity was increasing.

The towering crystal spires creaked from the stress, the civilians ran in terror and the will to preserve their own life. The youth's somewhat skinny frame had seemed to be a lie; for how could one person be so powerful? Could he have been a chosen champion of the gods?

Unfortunately, something of such dramatic proportions was simply not true. The youth's level and stats were superior to the chains that bind him.

"Status," the youth muttered, as to not be heard.

Guess I should put on a show, he thought and pulled on his chains which caused the spires to tremble ever more violently like a tree about to fall.

Then, the great spires collapsed with a thunderous roar - yet, a large piece roughly 15 kilometers in length still remained on the ends of his shackles.

Wordlessly, he unshackled himself and had yet to let the chains go. He knew enemies would soon come - as much as the alliance leaders were cowards for not facing him, he knew they would not let their reputation be stained if the one prisoner they spent decades on capturing were to escape so easily.

The act was quite simple for Itsuki's part. He placed a chain underneath one foot and swung the other in a fashion similar to a lasso - except he was going to throw a large boulder. Once - twice - thrice he swung in a full circle until it was the fourth time when he let the chain go, allowing the boulder to fly where he felt enemies would likely come from.

Whether or not there would be kills, he cared not. What he could confirm from the throw was the shockwave caused by the impact.

He did the same for the other one.

And to top it off, he thought, I'll throw in some fireworks.

He motions as if to toss a ball upwards, the tendrils of mana fly up from his hands and burst with an astoundingly beautiful fashion, sending out a large rainbow pulse of mana throughout the atmosphere.

This event would be what historians would later describe as "the Signal of the Great Magus".
