It was a rainy night - the droplets falling from the heavens impacted the roof with such force that could be heard on the house's second floor.

Here, one person calls this floor his room. Mind you, the floor was not especially large. It primarily consisted of two separate bedrooms - one more rectangular than the other - and a single bathroom.

"Haiz... can this rain just stop?" a young man spoke as he typed on his keyboard.

"It's been 5 days in a row where you are, right?" a party member responded.

"Yeah, and it doesn't help that I'm on the second floor at all," he replies, "but at least it gets colder at night more."

"Sieg! Time to eat!" a female voice calls from the foot of the stairs.

"Alright!" the young man responded.

The young man's full name is Siegfried Klein, university sophomore who spends most of his time playing an MMORPG called Velkyrion Online. Saying that he had to go and eat dinner to his companions, Siegfried went down the stairs - some steps creaked ever so slightly, reminding him of his younger years when he was not as smart as he was today. With each step, his dark, oak brown hair bounced gently and his hand brushes away strands that had moved in front of his right eye. For the trained eye, it was easy to tell that Siegfried possesses an unusual level of strength given by how his muscles were toned - yet did not stand out too much from his body type.

Haiz... I can't wait to get back online... Siegfried thought, we need to finish up on the stuff we planned for the event...

All of a sudden an armored truck had crashed through the front of Siegfried's house and all that soon followed was darkness.

"Am I dead?" Siegfried asks in the darkness, "and I didn't even get to say farewell..."

In the black abyss, he looked around and saw a light in the distance.

"Don't go towards the light, huh?" he said aloud and began to run towards the light, "screw it."

As he got close, he was forced to look away due to the brightness. However, he managed to hear the voice of a little girl saying, "I have to make this look good for my first outside reincarnator...!"

Letting out a "huh?" at what he sees, it is a little girl - or at least the height and body type one would expect of a little girl - with waist-long hair that glowed many different colors. She had been making an effort to put away a book on the shelf, but alas - it was too high for her, as it was the third shelf up.

Am I witnessing an all powerful deity struggle to put away a book...? he thought.

"Ah! You're here!" she says in astonishment and accidentally fell from tripping over her own feet.

"Are you the goddess I'm supposed to meet?" Siegfried said as he gracefully caught her in the nick of time.

"Yes I am," she responds, "can you please put me down?"

"Of course," Siegfried says and gently puts her down on her legs, "do you know if I legitimately died?"

"Well... the armored truck you were hit with... had..."

"Had what?"

"A thermonuclear bomb inside... that blew up... you first got hit by the truck and then the bomb blew up..."

"... So what happens now?" Siegfried responds - well, he didn't want the deity to know... or she knew that he heard her.

"You're going to be reincarnated!" she responds enthusiastically, "you're the first person I am in charge of reincarnating, so I will be following you while you go on your journeys."

"Am I perhaps getting some sort of cheat?"

"Yes!" she says with a little jump for joy, "when you reincarnate, you will begin with your avatar from Velkyrion Online!"

"I won't disappoint you..."

"My name is Lili!" she responds, "Goddess of creation!"

"Let's hope that when we meet again, it'll be when I die from old age," he responds, "perhaps we could play some games at that time."

"Not many thoughts in your head besides playing games?"

"I am a gamer, what else can I say?"

"Hopefully, your next life is filled with fun," she replies and begins a spell that creates magic circles around Siegfried.

"See you later, Lili," Siegfried says and playfully salutes before disappearing.

When he finally disappears, Lili says, "see you later-" and quietly mutters the rest of what she was going to say - as if she knew someone could read her words.

Casting another spell, magic circles form surrounding her and reveals her true form, which is more like an older version of herself.

Meanwhile, a young, newlywed female Wood Elf discovers a little boy, not even a year old, in the middle of the woods. It was unusual, for Humans could never travel so far into the forest, nor so close to a Wood Elf village.

She lifted the young one into her arms and brought him into the village.

At first, the Wood Elves were on edge, wondering if this was merely a trick crafted by the Humans. However, their worries were dispelled due to the Homeland Security and the Chieftain noting that they had concluded that the child must have been sent by a higher power - mostly because the detection array had discovered the existence of a Magic Art exceeding Tier X being cast, right where the little one was found.

Over time, the baby grew into a young adult.

Itsuki Reto, known in his former life as Siegfried Klein, sits near the edge of a cliff to watch the sunset as the light bathes the flame colored trees in its golden light.

"Itsuki~!" says a female Beastman with white hair and bright sapphire-blue eyes as she softly hits his back without much force.

"Noa, weren't you with my mother?" he responds with a raised eyebrow.

"Don't worry about it, I already finished helping Miss Reto," she responds with a smile.

"Honestly, how did you even find me?"

"Um... I just knew?"

Nonsense... Itsuki thought as he secretly inspects Noa's status.

"Honestly... what am I going to do with you if you stay this innocent?" he says while he moves his left arm out of a half-cape that is attached to leather pauldron and slowly runs his fingers through her silk-like hair.

"You could protect me, Itsuki!" she responds with a rather naïve twinkle in her eyes.

But you can break the planet apart like it is nothing, he thought as a retort, if anything, you are more capable of protecting yourself!

"If you're okay with someone like me, I'll do my best," he responds and moves his hand back behind the cape, much to Noa's disappointment.

Itsuki's cape is similar to Ezio's cape from Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.
