30. Exposed

Please no!

Yangyang stared wide-eyed at Xiao Jun, he could tell that he was quickly putting two and two together. His eyebrows shot up and then his lips curved into a sadistic smile and he let out a loud laugh that echoed up the walls of the alleyway.

“Oh my God, I don’t believe it! This is just too good!” He cackled, resting his hands on his thighs as he laughed, “You’re just like Ten, selling yourself for money. Who else have you been whoring yourself out too, huh?”

Xiao Jun wiped a tear from his eye and straightened up, composing himself, and the smirk that settled on his face as he looked at Yangyang made his heart drop.

“Little Pervert Yangyang, what would everyone at school think if they knew about what you were doing? Oh, you’d be expelled for sure wouldn’t you?”

A tear ran down Yangyang’s cheek, he suddenly felt so small, so helpless.

Weak. Worthless.

Xiao Jun knew, and he was going to use that knowledge to destroy him. Xiao Jun had finally won.

“You wouldn’t want that would you?” Xiao Jun closed the space between them and cupped Yangyang’s face in his hands, “You poor thing, what are you going to do?”

Please don’t.” Yangyang begged, barely audible.

Xiao Jun chuckled darkly, “Oh don’t worry. I won’t tell anyone, as long as you obey me.”

Yangyang stared into his eyes as more tears ran down his cheeks. He didn’t want to cry in front of him, to gratify him by showing his weakness but he couldn’t stop it. He felt like he was staring straight into the barrel of a gun, with nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, only waiting in misery for Xiao Jun to pull the trigger.

“Be my pet and as long as you behave I won’t tell a soul about your sick little hobby.” Xiao Jun whispered, wiping his tears away with his thumb.

He was almost acting affectionately towards him but Yangyang knew it was all just part of his sick game. Yet he felt so powerless against him. How could he challenge Xiao Jun? All the cards were now in his hands.

It was bad enough having his photo leaked throughout school, but if Xiao Jun told everyone that he was prostituting himself out to men, then he really would be expelled. Then there was no way his parents wouldn’t find out, and the thought of them knowing killed him inside. An overwhelming sense of dread began to suffocate him and he just wanted it to stop.

Would Xiao Jun really keep his word if he agreed?

Yangyang opened his mouth to respond when Sicheng grabbed Xiao Jun’s shoulder and tugged him backwards. Xiao Jun stumbled and glared at the other man.

“I don’t know what sort of weird shit you’re into but Yangyang’s mine to have first and you’re interrupting.” Sicheng said, keeping a hand on his shoulder and staring him down.

Xiao Jun scoffed and slapped his hand away, “As if I’d pay for him, I’m not like you.”

Sicheng took a step forward, getting into Xiao Jun’s personal space, their foreheads nearly touching. “Then get out of my way.”

Xiao Jun swallowed and clenched his jaw but stood his ground. As the two stared tensely at each other a heavy silence hanging in the air, only broken by Yangyang’s soft sobs as he struggled to tie down the whirling storm of emotions building up inside himself.

When Sicheng realised Xiao Jun wasn’t going to back down, he clicked his tongue and reached around him, grabbing Yangyang by the arm. Yangyang yelped as Sicheng’s fingers dug into the torn and bloodied flesh of his forearm and he recoiled, tearing himself free. He fell backwards with the force, hitting a wall, and slid to the ground as he cradled his arm to his chest.

“Leave me alone!” He shouted before a sob ripped through his chest, “please, just leave me alone.” He hung his head, wishing that they would just leave.

“I told you, I’m not finished with you yet!” Sicheng growled.

“What a pervert.” Xiao Jun scoffed.

“What about you? You’re no better, stop acting like you’re above me!”

Yangyang pulled his knees to his chest and tried to block out the sound of them fighting. He hated them. He hated Xiao Jun and he hated Sicheng. The threat of Xiao Jun exposing him left his mind conflicted, but deep down he knew he couldn’t give in. There was also no way he was ever sleeping with Sicheng again – no matter how much he tried to pay him.

His arm was throbbing, his body exhausted. He felt like his soul had been sucked out of his body. He just wanted to disappear…

“YANGYANG!”

Yangyang’s head shot up when the distinctive rich tone of Kun’s voice echoed through the alleyway.

That’s right! I can’t just give up, I have Kun!

Yangyang scrambled to his feet as Kun sprinted down the alleyway towards them. Relief flooded through him and he ducked past Xiao Jun and Sicheng and into Kun’s arms.

Kun wrapped his arms tightly around him, holding his head to his chest “Yangyang are you okay? I got worried when you didn’t show up and you wouldn’t answer my calls.” He pulled back and looked down at Yangyang’s tear stained face in worry before glancing over at the other two males, and his caring expression darkened. “What did you do to him?” He asked, moving to stand protectively in front of Yangyang.

Yangyang stood close to him, clinging to his arm.

Xiao Jun curled his lip and crossed his arms over his chest and Sicheng stared at him with a cold expression.

“And who the hell are you?” Sicheng asked. His hands balled into fists at his sides. “Is this another guy you’ve been fucking that you’ve chosen over me?”

“You must be Sicheng,” Kun responded calmly, “I’m Kun, Yangyang’s boyfriend.”

Boyfriend. At hearing that word fall from Kun’s lips, Yangyang’s heart pounded madly in his chest. Though it briefly crossed Yangyang’s mind that he had just said that to make Xiao Jun and Sicheng back down, the warmth that spread through his chest because it indicated that those were the words he was longing to hear, and he couldn’t stop himself from smiling. He clung onto Kun tighter, wrapping his arms around Kun’s.

“I know what you’re like,” Kun continued, “Yangyang’s told me how forceful and demanding you are, but you need to stop. Yangyang isn't going to do this anymore, and I’m not going to let you try and force him to do something he doesn’t want to do. Don’t try to contact him, don’t try to find him. Find someone else.”

Sicheng was about to snap back at him but Kun shifted his eyes to Xiao Jun. “And you, Xiao Jun, you’re a despicable person if you find enjoyment from blackmailing people and trying to ruin their lives.” He scolded Xiao Jun, “Yangyang’s had more than enough of you tormenting him, and so have I. Leave him alone. He’s not yours to toy with for your own amusement; he’s a human being. Trust in the fact that I will know if you keep harassing him, and if you do, I’ll be forced to take measures into my own hands to shut it down.”

Xiao Jun curled his lip at him, “What are you going to do, huh?” He challenged.

Kun stared silently at him for a moment.

Yangyang knew Kun’s gentle nature meant he wouldn’t allow himself to act violently towards another individual, even speak cruelly to them, but Xiao Jun was clearly trying to force his hand. Kun was tense, yet he stood tall and Yangyang could feel an assertive dominance radiating from his body. Surely Xiao Jun could feel it too as he waited for him to speak.

“What would your mother think if she knew you’d been sexually harassing another student?” Kun asked, “I can tell you care about appearances, that you want to flaunt the image that you’re the perfect student, the perfect son. So what would you do if that façade crumbled?”

Xiao Jun clenched his jaw, “If you do that then I’ll—“

“Then don’t make me.” Kun cut him off. He glanced at Sicheng, who – though he was seething – only lowered his eyes to the ground and said nothing. It seemed neither of them were willing to challenge him any longer.

“Let’s go.” Kun grabbed Yangyang’s hand, giving the two males one last look before he turned, pulling Yangyang gently along by his side.

Yangyang glanced up at him. He looked upset, with his jaw set and brow furrowed, but he kept his gaze firmly on the street ahead as they walked back to his apartment. Yangyang was surprised that he didn’t seem more concerned but he was just relieved to be with him and away from Sicheng and Xiao Jun.

However, as soon as they had stepped into the elevator and the doors shifted shut, Kun engulfed him in such a tight hug it took his breath away.

“I’m so sorry I didn’t come sooner.” Kun’s voice shook with emotion as he held the younger’s head to his chest.

Yangyang brought his arms up to hug Kun’s back just as tightly, ignoring the painful throb in his arm, “Don’t apologise, I’m the stupid idiot who’s always getting into these messes.” He mumbled.

Kun pulled back from their embrace and locked his lips against Yangyang’s.

“Don’t say that, you’re perfect the way you are.” Kun said, stroking a thumb over his cheek. “Are you hurt?”

Yangyang quietly nodded, lifting his arm to show Kun his bloodied forearm. Kun sucked in a breath when he saw it.

“Who did this to you?”

“It was my fault. It happened when Sicheng was chasing me, I ran into Xiao Jun and fell and scraped my arm.” Yangyang answered as Kun examined his wound.

The elevator reached the seventh floor and Kun steered Yangyang to his apartment, “Come inside, we’ll get that wound cleaned up.”

A/N: finally Kun arrived to save the day! Are you guys happy about that?

I hope everyone's having a lovely day ❤💖😘
