11. Questions

Yangyang had just finished his lunch and was making his way to the dance studio where Ten had arranged to meet him so they could talk about Sicheng. Ten had a client to see meaning he wouldn't be meeting Yangyang for another twenty minutes, so Yangyang had decided to just wait for him in the dance studio. It wasn't like he had anyone else to hang out with, and lately more and more people would stare at him when he walked around school and went to his classes. It definitely wasn't the sort of attention he wanted and so he hoped the studio would be empty so he could sit there and wait for Ten without feeling anybody's judgemental glares boring holes into the back of his head.

He had just reached the doors to the dance studio when someone tapped him on the shoulder.

“Hi Yangyang.” Yangyang turned and met the eyes of Hendery.

The taller boy smiled shyly at him and fidgeted as he clasped his hands in front of him.

“Oh, hi Hendery.” Yangyang greeted him. He looked around the hallway wondering if Hendery was just being friendly and saying hi as he passed by to meet someone else, but they were the only ones in the quiet corridor.

Hendery flicked his eyes to the door of the dance studio and then back to Yangyang. “Do you dance Yangyang?” He asked.

He titled his head slightly to the side and a lock of his wavy black hair fell into his eyes. He quickly brushed it back into place and stared at Yangyang with his large, innocent eyes.

“Um, no I don't, I was just going to meet someone here.” Yangyang replied after pausing for a second too long.

It was easy to see why Hendery was popular and had plenty of friends, he exuded a warm, friendly vibe and he was very polite and well mannered, not to mention he was very attractive and always managed to look classy and elegant, even in his school uniform. If Yangyang were to describe him in one word he would probably use suave.

Hendery gave him a small smile and kept his eyes on him. “Are you by chance meeting Ten?”

Yangyang's eyes widened a little at Hendery's correct assumption but suddenly wondered why he was asking. “Yeah, I am, why?”

“Are you meeting him now?” Hendery probed.

“No, in about fifteen minutes.” Yangyang replied.

“Do you mind if we talk then?” Hendery asked innocently.

“Sure, I guess.” Yangyang couldn't understand why Hendery would want to talk to him alone but he was curious.

He pushed open the door and stepped inside the dance studio. It was empty. Yangyang walked over to the mirrored wall and sat down against it, dropping his bag to the side, and Hendery sat down cross-legged opposite him.

As silence settled throughout the large room, Yangyang spoke. “So what did you want to talk about?” He asked.

Hendery flicked another strand of hair from his eyes before answering.

“I'm just curious about you and Ten. I noticed you've been hanging out with him a lot recently.” Hendery said.

“Yeah, and?” He responded. He wasn't sure what Hendery was trying to get at.

“I don't want to sound rude or overstep a line, but I'm assuming you've paid for his services before, am I right?” Hendery questioned delicately.

“Yeah, but so have you.” He retorted.

“Yes I have and don't think I'm judging you or anything along those lines, that would be hypocritical of me.” Hendery chuckled lightly. “It's just that I've noticed that he seems different when he's with you, compared to all the other boys at school who pay for him.”

Yangyang shrugged his shoulders. “Well that's because we're friends.”

Hendery nodded and looked down at his hands resting in his lap before glancing back up at Yangyang through long eyelashes.

“Or is it possibly because you and Ten are more than friends?”

“What? N-no!” Yangyang responded immediately. He could feel his cheeks heating up and hoped Hendery wouldn't notice.

Did Hendery think he and Ten were an item, as in a romantic item? It wasn't like Yangyang didn't want that, in fact Ten was exactly Yangyang's type of guy. He was sexy and ridiculously attractive, he was caring and very affectionate but he also had a naughty, flirty side to his personality.

“I'm sorry, that's just what I assumed as you two seem really close,” Hendery replied hastily. “and you don't have to tell me whether you are or not, I mean it's not my place to put my sticky beak into your relationship.”

Hendery looked back down at his hands, almost as if he were embarrassed.

“It's okay Hendery you're not, we're just friends.” Yangyang responded, trying to sound neutral and not disappointed that he and Ten weren't an item like Hendery thought.

Hendery looked back up at him. “Really? Because-”

Hendery was interrupted when Ten walked into the studio, a radiant smile on his face. His smile only grew as his eyes locked with Yangyang's.

“Hey Yangyang oh, and hi Hendery, fancy seeing you here with Yangyang.” Ten said as he strode over to them.

Hendery hastily stood up and flattened out the crinkles in his shirt. Yangyang beamed at Ten and also stood, receiving a hug from him. Ten gave him a tight squeeze and Yangyang wrapped his arms around him reveling in the sensation of being in Ten's embrace. Unfortunately, Ten broke their hug sooner than Yangyang would have liked.

“Well, I'll leave you two then.” Hendery said, picking up his school bag. “Thank you Yangyang.” He said, giving a slight nod of his head.

“I'll see you around Hendery.” Ten said with a small wink.

Yangyang could have almost sworn Hendery blushed as he backed up, nodding again politely before turning and walking swiftly from the room.

“Well that was odd.” Yangyang mused as he sat down on the floor with Ten.

“You mean, you've got yourself a new friend and I think that's wonderful!” Ten hummed, pinching Yangyang's cheek.

Yangyang laughed and batted Ten's hand away. “No, Hendery just wanted to talk with me. He thought that you and I were a couple.”

Ten's lips made a surprised ‘o’ shape then curved into his trademark grin. “Ooh I see, and did you say ‘yes of course we are because I'm a greedy kitten and I want him to myself!’.”

“What? No! of course I didn't Ten!” Yangyang huffed.

Ten only laughed and raked a hand through Yangyang's hair, his thumb tracing along his jawline. Yangyang relaxed into his touch and gazed at Ten's lips, trying to restrain himself from kissing them, knowing full well how good they tasted.

“Now, tell me how it went with Sicheng? From the little you so rudely cared to explain yesterday when I messaged you I take it that you had a few issues with him?” Ten asked.

He didn't look impressed that Yangyang hadn't told him everything that had happened on Sunday when he'd asked.

“I'm sorry, it's just weird to say that stuff in a message.” Yangyang tried to explain.

“What do you mean weird? What happened?” Ten pressed. “You made me worried- you're making me worry.”

Yangyang squirmed uncomfortably under Ten's gaze; he didn't enjoy the fact that not sharing had made Ten worry about him. He hadn't wanted to make Ten worry, that's why he hadn't told him straight away. Besides, it wasn't all completely bad; Sicheng had listened to him in the end and he hadn't hurt Yangyang.

“”I'm sorry, it's nothing you need to be worried about, Sicheng had just been a little forceful…” Yangyang began slowly.

“Forceful?!” Ten grabbed Yangyang's face to look him in the eye, clearly displeased. “Kitten did he hurt you, did he force himself on you?!”

“No, no of course not! I wouldn't have let that happen Ten.” Yangyang tried to assure him.

Ten shot a doubtful look at him.

“He only tried to get more from me than we'd agreed upon and he… fingered me.”

“WHAT?!” Ten looked outraged.

“It was only for a second and I stopped it immediately-”

“But he touched you when he shouldn't have! That Sicheng I don't like him!” Ten said, raising his voice. His eyes had darkened, anger simmering within them.

Yangyang grabbed Ten's hands in his and held them tightly, “Its okay though, I stopped it and Sicheng listened, he acted just as you had said he would, I was firm and he listened to me. I gave him a blow job, he paid me - extra I might add - and then I left.”

Ten still looked severely unimpressed with the news but he exhaled and chewed on his lip.

“As long as you're completely fine?” He questioned, one eyebrow raised.

“Yes Ten, you would be the first person I'd tell if I weren't.” Yangyang nodded, giving him an encouraging smile.

He titled his head, batted his eyelashes and shot Ten a cute look and though he tried not to, Ten finally smiled back.

“Okay, okay, but that doesn't mean I like Sicheng. I trust Kun with you but I don't trust him so keep me updated okay kitten?”

“I will.” Yangyang replied, feeling warmth spread through his chest.

Ten opened his arms wide and Yangyang snuggled into them, wrapping his arms around Ten's small waist.

The fact that Ten was acting almost overprotective towards him made his heart flutter. Maybe this was what Hendery had meant by Ten acting differently towards him compared to others. Sure they were close friends and there was undeniably some sexual chemistry between them, but they weren't a couple, or an item. That didn't stop Yangyang from indulging the idea of it.

He snuggled closer against Ten and they continued to talk for the remainder of their lunch break.

A/N: Hendery is suave, sleek and cool... and he's curious about Yangyang and Ten's relationship 🤔 why do you think he's so curious?

And then there's Ten *dreamy sigh* he's so nice and wonderful and ughhhh I love this ship! ⛴
