As soon as TWICE leave Middle Point's room to head back to theirs, they realize that they need a plan to stay away from them and finally enjoy their holidays without any more drama. But, first, they have to avert disaster.

Sana: I don't want to believe they spend 24 hours a day plotting, but now I'm thinking they plot even in sleep...

Mina: 'Night.

Meanwhile, Nayeon is alone, strolling by the beach. Perhaps storming out of the hotel that way hasn't been a good idea, but she needed to clear her mind a little bit. The thought of what Daejeong did to her back at Sixteen times, four years ago, is too strong to let go.

But now it's not time to wallow. She needs to go back to the hotel and get some sleep as tomorrow is probably going to be an intense day. As she stands up to leave, however, she's startled to see Leiann there, as well.

Nayeon: L-L-Leiann... What are you doing here?

Leiann: I always sneak to the beach when I'm down.

Nayeon: Like now?

Leiann: (nods) Yes. (Takes a deep breath) Listen, I have to tell you something.

Nayeon: About...

Leiann: Yes. Daejeong. It's time I finally tell you the truth about the two of us.

Nayeon: So...

Leiann: Daejeong and I used to date each other.

Nayeon: You what?

Leiann: That's true.

Nayeon: And why did you break up, if I may ask?

Leiann: Things weren't just working between us. I was so stuck in the middle between the project with her, Ashlyn and the others, and Middle Point. Daejeong didn't want me to work with Opius in first place, but I felt she was just being selfish.

Nayeon: Even though I really hate her, she kind of had a point, though.

Leiann: She perfectly saw through Opius Label's greed and their lack of morals, but she herself wasn't exactly a role model. She wasn't serious at our rehearsals, always showing up late, making silly mistakes and going clubbing until she'd be almost hungover.

Nayeon: So?

Leiann: Ashlyn tried to convince me to kick her out, and I listened to her. We tried to keep things friendly, but the point is, Daejeong only did this to make herself look good. She and Ashlyn have never got along.

Nayeon: I'm not surprised, honestly. She always butted heads with us even in Korea! Do you know Sixteen, the survival show that launched us?

Nayeon: Daejeong also auditioned to take part in it, but JYP dropped her and she didn't take it very well. She felt JYP had made the biggest mistake of his life, so she thought that turning our lives miserable would be okay.

Nayeon: The worst thing she did was creating a fake profile just to make fun of Jihyo's weight and Chaeyoung's stature! That was the lowest point. JYP told her never to show up at the agency again. She still swore we'd pay for (air quotes) "treating her like shit."

Leiann: I've never though she'd be so bad! Honestly, I'm glad to have got rid of her. When she's set on getting back on someone, she's so scary.

Nayeon: Yeah. We expected not to cross paths with her ever again, but here she comes, here in Miami, claiming that she changed! Honestly, I don't even believe her. She's clearly playing pretend. She's acting.

The two girls turn to find a furious Daejeong clenching her fists and throwing deadly glares at them. It looks like she's going to wreak havoc.

Daejeong: I can't believe I left the hotel only to find out you two backtalking and twisting the truth as you like! You-

Leiann: Stop it, Daejeong. I thought you'd actually change. It turns out you didn't. Get out of my sight.

Leiann: (slaps Daejeong's face) Get a life, stupid Korean bitch! Go back to where you come from!

Daejeong: (slaps Leiann's face even harder) Turns out I was right. You only used TWICE to twist them against me. (Holds Nayeon's wrist really tight and drags her away) I'm taking you away, unnie. You'll thank me one day.

Nayeon: (lets go of Daejeong's grip) What the fuck is the problem with you?

Daejeong: Nothing. The problem is you. You're too stubborn to accept that I changed, and that we'll eventually need to make amends with each other.

Daejeong: You need to stop being so prejudiced towards me. Jeongyeon unnie already did, and now she's feeling better.
