I come across people
Who ask me, how I am happy,
In a selfish world,
Which is fake and flashy.

I smile and answer understandably,
That there are no secrets to thrive.
We just have to let go of the past,
And see the beauty of life.

Everything and everyone has a purpose,
Whether good or bad.
Every experience teaches us a lesson,
Whether happy or sad.

And in this chaotic world,
I've found a way of calmness.
To enjoy my own company,
Because this is my lonely happiness.
