Ruby Pov

Ruby:"Weiss!" I yelled her name while following her after she left the classroom.

Weiss:"What?" She said turning around and glaring at me.

Ruby:"What's wrong with you? Why are you being-"

Weiss:"What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you? You're supposed to be a leader and all you've been so far is a nuisance." She said cutting me off.

Ruby:"What did I do?" I scoffed.

Weiss:"That's just it, you've done nothing to earn your position. Back in the forest you acted like a child and you've only continued to do so, you even got into a fight with your own classmate.

Ruby:"Weiss, where is this coming from? What happened to all that talk about, working together? I thought you believed in working as a team."

Weiss:"Not a team led by you. I've studied and trained, and quite frankly, I deserve better. Ozpin made a mistake." She finished, walking away, as I turned around sadly and went to go walk back to the dorm.

You:"That was brutal." I heard Y/N say behind me, he was with Calani, and he was also in his regular outfit.

Cal:"No kidding. Are..you ok Ruby." Cal said looking at me concerned as I just looked back at them sadly.

Y/N Pov

Ruby:"Is she right? Did Ozpin make a mistake?" She asked sadly.

You:"Hmmm.. probably. WRBY doesn't really sound right, so he probably just put you in charge instead." I said jokingly, I looked over at Cal too see her glowing red, and giving me, a very scary death stare. I looked back at Ruby to see her with tears In Her eyes looking down slightly, her ears and tail dropping.

Cal:"Y/N." she growled, as I realized I went a little too far.

You:"Whoa whoa whoa whoa, dont cry pup, I was just kidding, though I guess I went a little too far." I said a little guilty, I walked up to her as she looked up at me. I put my arms out for a hug and smiled at her, as she blushed slightly and her ears perked up a bit, before wiping her eyes slowly returned the hug.

You:"Man, I'm such an asshole, eh?" I said making Ruby laugh a bit, as she nodded a bit into my chest. I failed too notice both of our tails wagging at a thousand miles a minute.

Cal:"Yeah you definitely are." Cal sighed shaking her head as me and Ruby hesitantly let go of each other.

You:"I'll go give Weiss a talk, I'm not too good at this leader talk stuff." I said shrugging and walked to where Weiss went. I saw her outside looking at the sunset standing alone.

You:"hey Weiss." I said surprise her, as she looked at me and narrowed her eyes a bit.

Weiss:"What do you want." She said annoyed as I just sighed.

You:"Ya'know you hurt Rubes feeling right?" I said as she just huffed.

Weiss:"She'll get over it." She said while crossing her arms and looking away.

You:"Weiss, what's your problem with Ruby? You know she's just trying to help, and be a good leader, right?" I said while sitting down on a bench

Weiss:"A good leader? She's a child!" She yelled at me making me flinch a bit.

You:"So what if she's a child? Ozpin let her in himself, that speaks volumes of what she's capable of."

Weiss:"How did she get the leader position instead of me? I've been training almost my whole life, I'm the heiress to the Schnee Dust Company for heavens sake! I'm just so angry and confused as to how Ozpin chose a naive little child over me." She yelled in frustration, I knew she was just blowing off steam so I let her. I also began to realize what this was about.

You:"Weiss, I'm gonna be honest, I know how ya feel." I said as she looked at me surprised.

Weiss:"What, You do?" She said raising her eyebrow, as I just nodded and patted the seat next to me.

You:"Yup. Can...we keep this between me and you tho?" I asked nervously, to which she just sighed and nodded as she sat next me.

You:"I wish I was leader of my team too Weiss. But that doesn't mean I have to get hostile with Cal, like you did Ruby. In the 1 year I've known Ozpin he's never once let me down. Save for only training me for 1 year." I mumbled out the last part, making Weiss chuckle a bit.

You:"What I'm trying too say is, if Ozpin chose Cal over me for team leader, it clearly states that she's more fit to be leader than me. Which kinda..ya'know puts a dent in my self esteem. I know you don't really see us show it but, Me and Calani have a very, very dangerous rivalry."

Weiss:"Oh I've noticed, does the night before initiation ring a bell."

You:"That's nothing compared too what we've done in the past." I replied laughing a bit while giving her a tiny smile.

Weiss:W-What do you mean." She said a bit unsure.

You:"Oh nothing. So did you hope too be team leader?" I asked her as she stood up and clenched her fist.

Weiss:"Of Course I do, I think I should've been leader of team RWBY." She said as I just closed my eyes and gave her a big smile.

You:"Yeahhhhh, no."

Ruby:"What do you mean?"

Cal:"I mean it's literally only been one day. Ruby, Ozpin has probably made more mistakes then any man, woman and child on this planet. And in my personal opinion, at this moment I wouldn't consider your position as leader to be a mistake of his. Do you?"

Weiss:"Excuse me!"

You:"I've put all my faith in Ozpin for the short time I've known him, and that's really saying something."

Weiss:"So you would just blindly accept his decision even after seeing how exceptional I am?"

You:"Please don't kill me for this Weiss, but your "exceptional" skills on the battlefield can probably only be evenly matched by your shitty attitude."

Weiss:"How dare you!"

You:"Ya see! Look Weiss. Right before me, all I see is a little brat that has spent her whole life getting, literally, everything she's wanted." I said getting up and staring her down, I admit that was a bit harsh, but she seemed to have gotten the idea.

Weiss:"That's not even remotely true." She said crossing her arms as I just raised an
eyebrow

Weiss:"Well, not entirely true." She finished sheepishly.

Cal:"Being a team leader, isn't just a fancy name you carry into battle, but a badge you wear constantly. If you aren't doing your best and making sure your team isn't performing at there best, then where's the reason in following you."

You:"So you didn't get to be team leader, so what, do you honestly believe crying over it is really gonna make Ozpin, or anyone in fact, rethink there decision. So instead of whining about what you don't have, be grateful of what you do have. Hone your skills, perfect every technique or whatever, and don't try to be the best leader, but instead be the person you can be."

Cal:"We've both been burdened by an important, and quite honestly, scary responsibility. I think It'd be smart to take some time and think of how we can uphold it. I said while putting my hand on her arm and gave her reassuring look before walking away.

Ozpin:"I think you handled that pretty well Calani." Ozpin said coming outa nowhere slightly startling me a bit. I then gave him a worried look as he did the same.

Cal:"I hope your right. We both know how Y/N feels about this right?

Ozpin:"I'm afraid I do. You and your brothers rivalry is not one to take lightly, I advise you take some time too think this through with him." He said walking away.

After that little talk with Weiss I walked away, as I turned the corner, the smile I once had turned into a scowl as I clenched my fist.

You:"Tsk, can't believe I said all that shit. Just you wait Cal, I'll prove to you and Ozpin on who's stonger...." I growled glowing blue.

Time skip

I was going to get Lunar Eclipse out of my locker too go train in the Emerald Forest, despite the rules saying we aren't allowed to go after hours. I ran into Cal right as I was about get my weapon.

Cal:"Where ya off to." She said crossing her arms while leaning in the doorway to the armoury where are lockers were located at.

You:"Training." I said simply, but before I could get past her she grabbed my arm stopping me as I looked back confused.

Cal:"Listen Y/N, if this is about me getting appointed to leader instead of you, forget about, Ozpins decision was clear, and he obviously sees me more fit as leader then you, so just quit trying." She said while glaring at me as I did the same before ripping my arm away.

You:"Not for Long." I growled walking away as Cal scoffed before walking off as well.

Time skip

I was trudging my way through the Emerald Forest looking for any Grimm that would be so kind too show themselves so I could obliterate them into black dust. After a few more minutes of walking, I just sighed annoyed before I started to glow blue as I began to release all my negative emotions hoping to attract some. I knew this was a bad idea, seeing that I could accidentally lure more Grimm than I could handle and get overwhelmed, but I was way too pissed of to care. Just to make matters worse it started to pour, soaking me in a matter of seconds.

You:"Perfect." I muttered in annoyance, and finally I heard growling making my sigh happily.

You:"Finally. Never thought I'd be happy to find a Grimm again in my life." I saw that it was a Ursa Major with two regular Ursai beside it.

The two smaller ones growled again before charging at me, I ducked under a swing from one before jumping over another one and rolling to the side, I slashed one of them once, before I heard the Major rush at me, I turned around just in time to block a strike from it but it was still enough to launch me back as I hit a tree hard knocking the air out of me.

You:"Come Y/N what the hells wrong with you, these things should be easy!" I yelled at myself

I immediately charged back into the battle, punching one of the ursai in the snout making it stagger back a bit, before I jumped onto its head and unloaded Eclipse into it, making it roar in pain before the other one knocked me off with a claw almost depleting my aura. I began to feel my blood boil, as I couldn't beat these pieces of shit even though I could've probably breezed right through them normally with only the slightest bit of difficulty. So why was I having a hard time now. As I was deep in thought I failed to realize the incoming major about to maul me to death, but I narrowly dodged it before giving it a number of slashes and running up to it and stabbing Lunar into its chest. But even that barely did anything as it just swatted me away with Lunar still in its chest. I growled at this I was about to rush at the Grimm again but before I could they all dropped dead and began to disintegrate.

???:"Umm, are you ok?" I heard a feminine  voice call out from beside me. I looked beside me to see.......Ruby? No it couldn't be, instead of Ruby's signature Red cape, this girls was white and was also holding a white katana of some sorts, she also looked a bit older too.

You:"Last time I checked yeah." I said groaning as the girl walked up to me and kneeled down infront of me with a look of concern on her face.

???:"You sure? Cause you don't sound ok to me."

You:"I said I'm fine, anyways thanks for the save there. I didn't catch your name by the way." I asked standing back up, I realized she was a bit shorter than me and that she was smiling brightly at me.

???:"Well stranger, the names Summer Rose! Nice to meet'cha!"

I'm really sorry on how long this chapter took and how it's really short, I was just stuck on a certain part and couldn't think of anything to write so I just gave up for a bit. Yeah I know kickass attitude right? Anyways I'll try to get back into the swing of things.
