It was day two and Brad and I still haven't been found. We were just waking up and getting ready to go scavenge boats that have sunk or still floating but destroyed, for any type of supplies we can use like food, water, planks, and bandages. We were both pretty banged up from the crash last night and we needed some bandages and medicine to help heal our wounds. We got our raft and threw it in the water. We hopped in and started paddling towards a destroyed boat to find anything we can use to survive. As we were paddling the raft shakes we look around to see what hit us. Brad asks,

"What was that?"

I respond,

"I don't know. Maybe we just hit a reef?"

We continue paddling towards the boat and this time the boat gets hit so hard that we both flew out of the boat. We splash into the water and then I see a shark swim past Brad and I. We quickly get back on the raft and Brad says to me.

"Holy shit, that was a massive shark."

I respond,

"I known I think that was a tiger shark. We need to keep paddling and fast if we want to make it to that boat."

Brad nods and we start paddling again towards the boat. We finally make it too the boat and we tie the raft to the boat so the raft does not float away. We start searching the cabinets, lockers, and the fridges for any thing we can use to survive. I search a locker and I find bandages and a fishing rod. We can use the fishing rod to catch some fish to eat. I take the bandages and fishing rod and head over to Brad. I say to Brad,

"Here I found some bandages. Let me patch you up."

He nods and I start wrapping every wound on his body then I started doing mine. As I was doing it I see something shiny coming from a cabinet. I walk over to the cabinet and open it to find some spear arrows for a spear gun. I brought them over to Brad and said,

"I found these spear arrows. All we need now is the spear gun then we can defend ourselves from those sharks."

Brad asks,

"Where will we find a spear gun?"

I respond,

"By searching more boats."

Brad nods and we take all of the stuff we found and put it in the raft . We hop onto the raft and start paddling back to the island. When we made it back to the island we put all the stuff we found into separate piles to keep things organized. We found a axe so we can now chop down trees or kill any animals for food. I take the axe and head over to a tree and start chopping at it. I finished the tree and it fell to the ground with a hard bang. At the top of the tree were coconuts. I took the coconuts and brought them back to where we were staying. Brad sees me with the coconuts and says,

"You should crack one open."

I nod and then I take the axe and crack one of the coconuts open just a little bit so we can drink the juice out of it. I hand it to Brad and he takes a sip of the coconut and then he hands it back to me and then I take a sip of the coconut. Once I was done, I take the axe and I fully crack open the coconut and we ate all of the insides of the coconut. I head back over to the tree and start breaking it down into pieces. When I finished breaking it down into pieces, I took all of the pieces back to where we were staying and put them down into a pile. I went over to Brad and said,

"We need to start making a base to stay in."

He responds,

"Ok. But what are we going to make exactly for a base?"

I respond,

"Well we have a lot of wood we can use to build two separate rooms for now for the both of us to stay in separate rooms."

     He nods and we start building the beginnings our base. We look around the island to see where we could make our base. We decided to make it on the beach part of the island. We take the wood that we have and then we started building the base. We place the base of our new place down and then we made some stairs to lead up to the base of our new place. We made it higher just in case that the tide of the ocean gets closer on the beach. Then we make many more bases and place them down next to each other. We made walls and put those down on the edges of the bases. We also made some walls with windows in it and a door. We place down everything and finished our base. Brad says to me,

"Wow this actually turned out great. How did you know how to do all of this stuff?"

I respond,

"Well my dad used to be in the military before he passed and he taught me a whole bunch of different things in case we get stranded on a island like we are right now."

Brad responds,

"Oh I'm sorry. I did not know."

I respond,

"No, no it's ok it wasn't your fault."

     He nods and we enter our base. We made a storage room for all of the supplies that we find on boats and stuff like that. We take everything that we had outside and brought it inside so none of it blows away. We lay down to get some rest and to get ready for the next day. We are running short on food so tomorrow we are going to go out and fish and search for food on the island.
