He seemed..sad?

Dust watched the ground, his eyes blank and unreadable. I stared suspiciously at him, was he just sad right now? "I'm going to start heading back.. bye" "bye!" Sandy waved.

I walked back home since my shift is done, I decided I didn't want to go in Sandy's car. Once I made it home, I sighed and laid down on my bed, "what are you planning?." I heard Dust say quietly. "I have nothing, nothing at all to say" I responded, "tell me" I said "when did you come here?" I asked, "not awhile ago" he responded, "actually when I had a new life here" he said. My eyes widened "I thought you like, teleported here or something!" I said surprised, "no I was born here, I woke up in a white room with friendly faces all around me, as a specialized bitty. then not long after, adopted by a young human (man) who had depression." He sighed. "Hmm, did you like him?" I asked, "..." I got no response. "Yes.." a few long seconds later. I looked up at him, to find him staring out my bedroom window. "I don't understand, why me of all Sanses... why do I have to suffer?.." he chuckled bitterly, "why do I have to go through pain, why can't I just be happy!? With my family and friends!? I deserve it after all that I have done to protect them!" He said angrily, 'family?' I thought. "Hey Dust" "what?" He said angrily, I sat up and looked at him, "it's going to be okay" I have him a thumbs up, "I never said I'm giving up!" I said, his eyes widened, he looked away back at the window.

I never said I was going to give up!

He heard those words before, but when it strained him to try to remember, where did he hear that?..

Flashback
"I never said I was going to give up!" a young girl about 12 years old said, flour was poured all over her sweater, "you sure about that kid?" A stubby skeleton chuckled. "Yeah!" She smiled. She started mixing the batter again, sunlight making her smile shine more. "Do you think Papyrus will like it?" She asked while stirring it, "what do you think?" The skeleton replied, "I think yes!" She said getting even more flour on her, "than I think yes too" the skeleton shrugged. They suddenly heard the door open, an annoyed grunt, and the barking of a dog "Stupid DOG!! Get off me!! You are getting on the Great Papyrus's nerves, you don't want to do that!!" A particularly high pitch voice with a small accent, argues. The caramel skinned girl odd  "closed" eyes widened . "Sans!" She whisper-yelled "Sans! Distract him!" The said skeleton shrugged and trudged to the kitchen door, then the girl heard his deep smooth voice say "..having a ruff time there bro" the skeleton 'punned' "SANS!!" The voice said "THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO JOKE AROUND!! IM IN A SITUATION!" The voice yelled, "what type of situation is that?" The short skeleton yells, "A-a... a situation" the skeleton stuttered. "Oh! So your in a situation that requires 'bad dog?'" The short skeleton chuckled, "YES-er NO!! SANS COME AND HELP ME!" "Okay" the girl ran into a small closet full of .. she really doesn't know? Suddenly a familiar tall skeleton walked in, with a long orange red scarf,  a particularly weird battle suit, and bright red gloves. He stopped midway through, "Sans?" "Yeah bro?" a respond came from the doorway, "do you smell that?" The tall skeleton said, "uhhhh... Papyrus we don't have noses" the Sans said walking into the kitchen, "did you know Sans that I was the best smeller in my time" Papyrus said, "I can smell snow from a mile away.." he said stretching his arms dramatically, "uhh, snow?" Sans said, the girl almost laughed if she hadn't covered her mouth. "No, I didn't know that.." he said afterward. "Well I was! And I can smell it!" Papyrus inched toward the closet, the girl watched slightly scared he actually 'smelled' her out, but instead he grabbed a pot of spaghetti, "Sans!!" He said "you could have told me that I had left my spaghetti" he said sadly, "it was going to be my best one yet!!" "Sorry bro" Sans said "can you make another one?" Sans asked, "of course!!" He said, his sad demeanor leaving as quick as it came. Papyrus ran off out the door way, "I'M GETTING INGREDIENTS!! I'LL BE BACK"  he left the door open so we heard him get in his car and drive off. The girl walked out of the closet Sans looked at her "oh! I though you were in there?" He pointed a bony finger at a small drawer, the girl laughed. "Don't you think this will be an amazing birthday!" She said, "yeah, my bro will love it"

That was a flashback!! You'll be seeing a lot of those! dang I feel like I hadn't updated in 1000 years, it makes me feel like a terrible person, T-T
