You got back to the tower and told the team what Strange wanted to tell you. About Blaze having magical abilities, the relics he gave you, and that he offered to have you come back whenever you had questions. You and Loki left out the part where Strange vanished Loki away, Loki was probably embarrassed someone could just vanish him, especially sense he himself was a Master Magician.

       When you went to school next you told Blaze that you now knew he was magical and he seemed ...excited that you knew. Though you made it absolutely clear nothing was going to change between the two of you. Blaze would still be your horse and best friend while you would remain his rider.

You put the horseshoes on him and whenever he wanted to use the magic in them magic, like Doctor Strange's magic, sparked out of them, like little embers sparking out from under his hooves. You also put on his horse necklace and tried it out, you loved that you didn't have to take forever tacking up now. You left the necklace on him when you left, Strange told you it had some kind of magical lock on it so only you could take it off.

       A man named Phil Coulson came to the tower one day looking for you. He had designed and your superhero outfit. It was a brownish orange jacket with a lot of buckles and pockets on it, it also had shoulder pads. Under the jacket you wore a brown shirt and some kind of buckle thing that went over your shoulder. You had dark brown jeans with two buckles holding them up. Then you had dark dark brown combat boots. All in all you thought the outfit looked complicated.

       Fabulous? Yes!

      But complicated. How in the wide wide world were you going to put that on fast?

A few more weeks had passed and you've been living at the Avengers Tower for about three months. You and Loki where nearly inseparable. Loki had gotten his stupid metal device off that limited his powers and shocked him if he got out of line. The team took it off because Loki was extremely useful on all the missions he went on and you kept bugging them about it. You took him horseback riding and Loki continued to show you and teach you about magic. You found it extremely interesting, even if you couldn't do any yourself. You have gotten a lot better at fighting and using weapons, Loki even started teaching you how to use a dagger. The mounted shooting lessons were also paying off, the trainer said you were one of her best students and that you could probably enter competitions and win.

You were in your room going through your music trying to figure out which song you were going to use for your reining pattern. That's when JARVIS informed you to get your superhero costume on and get ready to go out on a mission. You jumped up and ran to your closet where the outfit Phil Coulson made for you lived. It only took you five minutes to put your complicated costume on and you were grateful for all the time you spent taking that thing on and off while timing yourself trying to get faster. If you hadn't it would have taken way longer to put your outfit on.

When you were ready you headed down to the living room where Steve gave everyone their assignments and told the team what was going on. A Hydra base that SHIELD was looking for just got discovered, but it was highly armed. One of the leaders for Hydra was staking out there for safety. It was high in the mountains and camouflaged so no one could find it, until now. SHIELD wanted the Avengers to go in, get the leader, and take over the base.

"Everyone but (y/n) go load up." Steve ordered the team. "(Y/n) there's another jet for you. It will take you to your school to get Blaze. Once you get him it will fly you to where the mission is taking place."

You agreed with the plan and with that you and the team got into the elevator to go to the launching deck. Before you could run off to your jet Loki grabbed your wrist and pulled you aside. "I know you are exited to prove yourself to the team love." Loki quickly told you with genuine concern in his voice. "But please don't be reckless. I don't want you getting hurt." Loki practically begged, you could see the pleading look in his eyes, Loki was scared of you getting hurt. You gave Loki a happy warm smile.

"I promise I will be as carful as I can." You told Loki keeping your voice happy, like you and the team were going off to an amusement park and not a super dangerous mission. Loki looked at you hesitantly and you could tell you going on this mission was really freaking him out. You could see it in his eyes and the way he held himself, he did not like the idea of you in any type of danger at all. You gave Loki another warm smile, stood up on your tip toes, kissing his cheek to reassure him that everything would be fine. You didn't know why you kissed him, it just felt right at the time. Loki looked at you, shocked. You could see him starting to blush but the two of you didn't have time for flirting right now. Steve yelled at the two of you to hurry up so you turned on your heal and ran towards your jet with Loki watching you in shock as you left. Thor went up to his brother and clapped him on the shoulder. He chuckled at his brother's dazed expression and led him to the jet that the team was on. While on the jet flight to the mission all Loki could think about was you and the kiss on his cheek.

      You got Blaze into the jet quickly and change his pendent around his neck to a set of western tack, you made sure there were gun holsters on the saddle so you could put your two night night guns in them and not have to hold them the entire time.

        On the plane ride there you sat on Blaze's back and double checked all of your equipment.

'Combs for coming with the others?'

Check!

"Guns fully charged and loaded, safely in their holsters?'

Check!

'Your horse?'

Check!

You were ready to go. Your jet landed right by the other jet. The cargo door went down. You and Blaze waisted no time and jumped out of the jet taking off into the forest.

          You trusted Blaze and you knew he could hear the battle going on, no matter how far a way it was. After all a regular horse can hear another animals heart beat from four feet away, they even can synchronize their heart beat to the heart beat of their riders. So you trusted that Blaze would take you to where you needed to be.

         After a few seconds of riding you and Blaze finally made it to the battle ground. There was a clearing with a big building in the middle of it. It had that bad guy lair vide down packed and it was ginormous. You wondered how SHIELD hadn't been able to fined this place until now, it didn't seem that well hidden. Sure it was camouflaged or something and it was in the middle of the mountains, you would think some adventurous hikers would stumble upon this place and call someone.

        You stoped right on the outskirts of the clearing,  you could see all the available agents open fire on the other side of the clearing shooting into the woods. Obviously that's where everyone else was.

       "How did we get all the way over here?" You asked Blaze. "Our jet landed right by theirs. Shouldn't we be over there with the team?"

        Blaze snorted and whinnied as if to say, 'can't you just be thankful I got us over here? Unless you want to be shot at?'

          "Oh stop it with the attitude." You scolded Blaze lightly as you gently slapped his neck. Blaze nickered in a horsey laugh. "Let's go save our friends. Shall we?" You asked Blaze taking your two guns out of their holsters and setting his reins around the horn of the saddle so they would not slip.

          Blaze whinnied and pawed the ground ready to go. You could feel his muscles tighten ready to run. His energy was surging through his body, all you felt from him was his raw power.

      "Alright bud." You told him with power and force in your voice. Your eyes narrowing in on the targets in front of you, your brain visualizing the best way to go about doing this. It was a stupid and foolish plan, but if you and Blaze could pull this stunt off you could take out every single agent out there. "Let's do this! Heya!" You squeezed Blaze with your legs and he took off at a dead gallop, using his hind quarters he launched himself forward. As the two of you barreled towards the enemy agents you felt all the power Blaze was holding in let lose, you also felt like you were one with your horse.

This was one of the reasons you loved horseback riding so much, to feel the power of a half ton animal and the feeling of becoming one with it. Having the same goal and working together to accomplish that goal. There was no other feeling in the world that could match that.

You and Blaze approached the agents fast and when you felt you were close enough to properly shoot them down your started firing. You weaved in and out of the agents shooting them as you went along, just like you did with the target balloons at mounted shooting lessons. Blaze moved off your legs listening to you and doing exactly what he was told when he was told to do it. Sometimes you got so close to the agents you kicked them. Blaze never slowed pace, even with the crazy fast turns and high speed maneuvers he was doing.

You and Blaze had the element of surprise on your side so the agents were quite confused when a girl and her horse showed up out of nowhere and started shooting them. They didn't even know you existed, the Avengers never said anything about a girl on horseback joining the team. When they did get their brains out of shock most of the agents were down for the count nocked out by your Night night guns. You and Blaze simply dodged their bullets and knocked the rest of them out.

You slowed Blaze down to a stand still. You and Blaze standing in the middle of all the knocked out agents. You both tuned your attention to the forest to see who the heck they were shooting at.

Natasha and Clint came out from behind some trees and starred at the wreck you and Blaze just caused.

"That was impressive." Nat complemented the both of you as she looked over what you had just done. They knew you were good at mounted shooting, they just didn't know how good.

"How come we never let you come to any other missions?" Clint wondered out loud, he was also impressed with your skills. You just blushed and put your guns back into their holsters picking up the reins from where you set them.

"Hey Cowgirl, nice job." Came Tony's voice from the communication device in your ear, he to also sounded impressed. "Another wave of agents are coming out of the west side of the building for Loki and Thor. Go show them what you can do." Tony must have been flying somewhere over head giving the team air support.

You picked up the reins and tried to turn right, to the East, but Blaze whinnied and pulled against you as if to say, 'no this way!'

"Oh sorry." You apologized to Blaze, you had never been good with directions, you aloud Blaze to turn left, to the west, and the two of you took off again.

When you got to the west side of the building Tony was talking about you realized he neglected to tell you how big this wave of agents was. There was a ton, at least sixty of them.

You and Blaze waisted no time and did exactly what you did with the other group of agents, weaving in and out of them and shooting them. This time however all the agents where down on the floor much faster, thanks to the two Asgardians that had your back. They both starred at you in shock like Nat and Clint had done. Not sure if they were seeing this right.

A little Midgardian girl holding her own in a fight against sixty hulking men with guns, all fully trained.

"I seemed to have underestimated your abilities Lady (y/n)." Thor said ever so politely, "you are quite skilled on horseback."

"That you are." Loki agreed with Thor giving you a smirk. You could tell he was proud of you for impressing his brother. You blushed and patted Blaze's neck telling him good job.

"We should head in there." You said gesturing towards the building. "Get the man we were sent here to collect."

"You and Loki go ahead I still have business out here to attend to." Thor said, you and Loki agreed and waked towards the door leading into the building. When you got there you got off of Blaze, set his reins around the saddle horn, grabbing one of your night night guns.

"Watch our backs." You told Blaze giving him some orders, "make sure no one comes in or out of this door that's not part of our team. If anyone tries take them out." Blaze nicked and nodded his head telling you he understood.

       You and Loki went through the halls of the building taking out agents and looking for the leader you were sent here to take in. Loki mostly kept you behind him, guarding you from the agents. You didn't mind, you knew even after you showed him you could take care of yourself he saw you as a little harmless Midgardian. Plus you would be lying if you said you weren't scared. Being in an unfamiliar building without Blaze and with people jumping out and shooting at you, it was getting you riled up.

         Loki could sense your emotions change, he knew that now when you were without Blaze you felt unsettled, and he kept doing little things to assure you he had your back. He would constantly keep you behind him and made sure you had cover before he went off to deal the the agents by himself. You weren't completely useless however, shooting at agents whenever you could. You had gotten a few of them when they tried to sneak up on Loki while he was fighting. It warmed your heart to have him watch out for you like that, no matter what anyone said he was no monster.

       Loki also loved having you around, even if he didn't like the danger you were in. He loved how you had his back, constantly looking out for him and covering him. He even loved how when you would get scared you would atomically grab onto his cape and pull yourself closer to him, completely trusting him to keep you safe.

"The Hydra leader got away." Came Caps voice sounding defeated in the coms as you and Loki were still looking for him. "He caught wind we were coming and left before we could get here. Everyone head back to the jet." You and Loki headed out of the building only to find a smug looking Blaze surrounded by a few agents whining on the ground. They all looked pretty beaten up with hoof shaped bruises on them.

"Good job bud." You told Blaze as you patted his muzzle affectionately, "I knew I could trust you." You kissed Blaze on the muzzle and he nickered happily. You then turned to Loki who was looking a little jealous of the attention Blaze was getting from you. You walked up to him smiling warmly. "I also knew I could count on you." You told Loki then stood up on your tip toes and kissed his check.

Loki blushed a beep shade of purple, "you were just as remarkable as well love." Loki told you then bent down to kiss you on the check. Now it was your turn to blush. Loki smirked, thinking how adorable you looked while you were flustered.

Blaze pinned his ears back and snorted waking up to the two of you and pushing you way from Loki with his big head. He did not like Loki at all.

"All right. All right." You giggled at Blaze stroking his neck, while Loki was glaring at him for ruining the moment. "We can go." You swung up onto his back gracefully then held out a hand for Loki. Blaze glared and snorted at Loki. Causing Loki to take a step back from the horse.

"I don't think your steed likes me." Loki said giving Blaze his room, watching him warily. Loki liked you but he still was intimidated by Blaze, with all of his power he could do some serious damage to anyone. Loki did not want to anger him.

"Sorry about that." You apologize to Loki feeling bad for Blaze's strange behavior towards him. Blaze usually was the sweetest horse ever towards your friends and family. You couldn't figure out why Blaze hated Loki so much.

"No need to apologize love." Loki assured you, "I can just walk." So the three of you headed back to the jets talking and laughing as you went.

        Some SHIELD agents came to collect the Hydra agents and take them back to wherever they kept the bad guys. Everyone loaded onto their jets and took off not wanting to be here another moment longer. Loki really rushed you to get onto the jet, he wanted you out of here and safely back in the tower.

        So your jet left for school to put Blaze away, while the others headed back to the tower. You would count your first mission as a success.
