To Asgard

The mouth of Halloween was super fun with Loki. You took him with you to a little farm called 'Little Bear Bottoms' with some of your college friends. There you and Loki pick out pumpkins went on a hay ride and got lost in a corn field for over two hours. You also had Loki go through the haunted house with you. The workers were a little concerned to let him go through at first, but after he had promised you not to stab any of them you finally convinced everyone that your boyfriend was safe. Loki was extremely confused on why humans found haunted houses fun.
"If you know you are completely safe why do you still proceed to scream and run away?" Loki asked you when the two of you finally exited the haunted house. You may have screamed, a lot, and lost Loki in the haunted house when you sprinted away from a guy wilding a chainsaw.
"Because it's fun to be scared." You told Loki simply. "But not like scared scared. It's fun to be fun scared." You tried to explain.
Loki just rolled his eyes and decided that Halloween would be one Holliday he would never understand.
*
The day of Halloween you and Loki carved pumpkins. To which he again didn't understand why you wanted to do it. You told him it was fun which led to him throwing a hand full of pumpkin guts at you. Which led to you retaliating against him into a full out pumpkin fight.
Tony wasn't very pleased to see his kitchen decorated in pumpkin guts so he had you and Loki clean everything up. Loki used his magic when he got bored of cleaning.
Tony threw a Halloween party and invited a ton of rich important people you didn't know. The party lasted until the early morning hours and everyone got way to drunk. Everyone that is other then you, who couldn't drink yet, and Thor and Loki, who physically couldn't get drunk off of Midgardian alcohol. You did however eat why too much candy.
*
You heard a soft knock on your bedroom door the next morning while you were trying to recover from last nights late night party. You groaned at the door ignoring it,  snugged more into your nice warm cozy bed and tried to fall back asleep.
There was another knock then the creaking of the door opening. "Love?" Loki asked softly poking his head into the room.
"It's too early to be up." You whined at him picking up your pillow covering your head with it trying to block out the light that was coming from the doorway.
"It's one o'clock in the afternoon love." Loki told you patiently as he stepped into the room walking over to you. Loki looked around your room noticing that you were finally all the way unpacked. He looked over at a bulletin board full of ribbons of every color, then to selves filled with trophies. Even your bed post had ribbons on it. "You won all these?" Loki asked you impressed.
"Yes." You confirmed half asleep not opening your eyes to see what Loki was looking at.
Loki came over to the side of your bed putting an arm on your shoulder shaking it softly. "Come on love, one o'clock is too late to be sleeping in until."
"Thats too early for anyone to get up on November first." You told Loki with the pillow still over your head. "Go back to bed."
"I would let you sleep love but me and Thor need to talk to you." Loki told taking the pillow off your head. "Lady Jane has just arrived at the tower not twenty minutes ago. Me and my brother need to inform the two of you about the Harvest Ball and what is expected of you."
You cracked open your eyes looking up at Loki and sighed. Of corse you were going to get up. It was Loki who was asking you to and you really liked Loki. "Ok." You grumbled quietly as you slowly got out of bed still not fully away yet. Loki offered you his arm like a true gentleman and led you down to the living room.
"How are you not tiered?" You asked Loki on the way down. You were letting Loki lead you down in your half asleep state as you held onto his arm, leaning on him as he took you down to the living room.
"I am Asgardian love, you are human. I require less sleep than you do." He explained with humor in his voice. You nodded sleepily accepting his answer. He thought you were so cute and humorous when you were half asleep.
*
Loki sat you down on his couch in your usual spot. When he sat down next to you you tucked your feet up underneath you and put your head on his chest cuddling up to him. Loki tensed a little but quickly relaxed. He still wasn't super comfortable with anyone so close to him even if you were his girlfriend. Sure, he's had you in his arms before but it still caught him off guard when your first reaction was to cuddle up to him.
Thor chuckled lovingly at Loki's reaction to having you wrap yourself around him. He loved that Loki found someone that could forgive his past and give him a second chance. And Loki seamed much happier now that he had you in his life.
Jane looked at you confused as to how anyone would like Loki so much or even trust Loki to not stab then for being so close to him. She studied your relaxed form safely nestled in Loki's before turning her attention back to Thor. "So, the Harvest Ball?" Jane asked politely from her place in Thor's couch.
"Ah, yes." Thor boomed happily. "The Harvest Ball. It's a celebration that happens once every century. Asgard invites the nine realms to celebrate and horror the peace between the realms. It also is set up in a way so we again can discuss peace for the next century or so. It is of the utmost importance that we are  all on our best behavior." Thor explained to you and Jane.
"Love you need to be listening to this." Loki told you quietly as you were still snuggled up to him looking like you were fast asleep.
"I'm listening." You told Loki still half asleep. "Be on best behavior."
"And what dose that look like for you?" Loki asked you teasingly.
"No snarky remarks." You answered him straight away. "No madder how funny they are."
Loki chuckled at your answer not expecting that to be your answer. He knew you were stubborn and adventurous, but he only knew you as the sweet little Midgardian who would never intentionally cause a fight. He didn't think you were capable of snarky comebacks that would actually get you into trouble.
"Has that happened before?" Loki asked you amused. You nodded your head yes against his chest but didn't elaborate on your answer. "When was that?"
"High school." You answered simply and tiredly, one should never stay up with the Avengers until four in the morning. Loki didn't push for a better explanation, not yet anyway. You were down here to learn about the Harvest Ball not to talk about your high school experience.
Thor continued to talk about the Ball. How it was important for everyone to get along and how you and Jane would be the only humans there. Your job was simple, all you had to do was be Loki's lady and be the spokes person for Earth.
I mean really how hard could that be?
Acting like a proper princess? Even if you weren't.
Speaking for all of humanity? And if you said or did something wrong there was a slight chance of another realm going to war against Earth. Thor and Loki both were going to get how bad of an idea this is from you when you wake up more. A teenager as a spokes person for a whole planet? Really not the brightest idea.
"We leave tomorrow morning." Thor told your and Jane.
"Wait tomorrow?" You asked Thor almost panicked, sitting up from Loki.
"Is that a problem lady (y/n)?" Thor asked kindly.
"Is Just I thought we would have more time to prepare." You explained to them. "I'm not a princess! I don't know how to dance or walk properly or act properly!"
"Don't worry love." Loki told you with a smile. "You will learn as you go. I know how your brain works, you would have gotten to overwhelmed if we started teaching you all you needed to know and shut down. You work well in a certain amount of chaos. You will be fine." Loki assured you gently.
*
There was a knock on your door the next morning as you ran around your room packing the last of your stuff in your duffel bag. Loki had assured you that you didn't need to bring anything, that the palace would have everything you needed but you still felt like you had to take a few things like yours guns, riding clothes, comfortable clothes, pajamas, toothbrush, etc.
"Come in." You told the person behind the door. Loki came into your room in his Asgardian clothes.
"It's time to go love." Loki told you kindly. "Thor and Jane are waiting for us." Nodded zipping up your bag and throwing it over your shoulder only to have Loki take your bag away. With a glow of green magic he sent it to his demential pocket.
"I still need that." You told Loki with a smile. "It has my toothbrush in there."
"I will give it to you when we get to the palace." Loki told you. "But right now its time to go."
You and Loki walked out of the tower to the forever indented bifrost symbol sketched in the ground. Thor and Jane were already standing in the center of the circle. Thor had Jane's bag slung over his shoulder, Thor told Jane the same thing Loki told you about the not needing to bring anything. But neither of you wanted to go to Asgard unprepared.
"Ready?" Thor asked his brother when the two of you joined him in the center. Loki nodded then turned his attention to you.
"Hold onto me love." Loki bid you. "Traveling by bifrost is an... experience." You saw Jane reach up wrapping her arms around Thor's neck hiding her face on Thor's chest. Thor wrapped his arms around her waist getting ready for the bifrost. You wrapped your arms around Loki's neck getting into the same position as Jane.
"Heimdall!" Thor called to the sky. "Open the bifrost!" And not a second latter you, Loki, Thor and Jane were engulfed in a rainbow colored light.
