Loki and Y/N spent a few hours in the meadow, they were sitting under an old willow tree doing nothing but talking.

"We should get back, neither of us are exactly on good terms with the team" said Y/N 

"Your right" said Loki, he stood up and held out his hand which Y/N took and stood up. "Hopefully my mother and Odin have returned to Asgard"

"Why do you call him Odin?"

"Because Like I said I am adopted and he never treated me much like a son"

"You were closer with your mother?"

"Yes, she was the one who taught me magic...what about your parents?"

"My mother was a witch that practised dark magic and my father has tried to kill me on multiple occasions, so they are not the best"

"Wait your father is still alive?"

"Yeah he's a vampire, my mother and my youngest brother died over a thousand years ago, when we were still human"

"Oh...you ready?"

"Yeah"

Loki teleported them to the team who were for some reason in central park, they were fighting some troll looking beings. One of them had Frigga in a choke hold and it was evident she was gasping for air, but the others were busy, even Odin was preoccupied to notice. Even the Hulk was having difficulty beating these things.

"How strong are you?" asked Y/N "Same strength as Thor?"

"Yes...why?"

"Throw me, at that one" said Y/N pointing at the creature holding Frigga.

Loki took Y/N's hands and spun a few times and launched her at Frigga, Y/N punched the creature and Loki got his mother out of the way.

"Alright Ugly, lets dance...LOKI SWORD" Suddenly a sword appeared in Y/N 's hand. 

Y/N took the trolls out in a few seconds with a little help from Loki, give him a dagger and he was one hell of a fighter. The Avengers were no longer under attack, Odin on the other hand was still fighting the head honcho, Loki and Y/N towards the creature when Odin got thrown they parted and he went flying between them but they didn't stop running, the others were being tended to by Frigga. Odin collected himself and saw Loki and Y/N fighting in unison, he seemed impressed. Y/N impaled the creature through the heart at the same time Loki rammed his dagger into the creatures head, they killed it, dead.

"Oh I am so keeping this sword!" said Y/N as she removed the sword from the creatures heart.

"Be my guest" said Loki who had removed his dagger and walked up to Y/N "Your good"

"Yeah well my brothers were adamant I learn"

Loki and Y/N walked back to the group.

"You guys okay?" 

"Yes Y/N everyone is alright, thanks to you" said Frigga

"You are a good fighter" said Odin

"Umm thanks"

Another creature came running out of the brush and Y/N was itching for another fight, her bloodlust was coming to the surface.

"Loki" said Y/N looking at him with a look. He walked up to her and grabbed her hand as her sword was in her other and spun her, he launched her towards the creature. Y/N had her sword aimed at the creatures head, the sword went straight through the head of the troll creature, she flipped and landed perfectly behind it.

The creature fell face down, Y/N stood up and kicked the creature over and pulled her sword out of its head, the green gooey blood dripping from it.

"Ugly bastards" Y/N walked back to the group who were all standing there stunned. "What?"

"That was awesome!" said Clint who fist bumped Y/N 

"Well I couldn't do it alone" said Y/N who leaned her arm on Loki's shoulder and she smiled at him.

"She's right Loki, you saved our asses out there, thank you" said Steve

"I appreciate that captain"

"My brother the troll killer, who would've thought" exclaimed Thor who patted Loki on the back.

"What were those things anyway?" asked Nat

"Trolls from Svartalfheim, but they have no means to travel between realms, they had to have had help to get here" replied Odin " I will look into it when we return, which we must do, we have been gone to long"

Frigga said goodbye to her sons, Odin however just walked away without acknowledging the fact that Loki just saved his ass. Y/N walked up to him, she was determined to talk to him.

"Your not even going to thank him?" asked Y/N "He saved your life"

Odin turned round and saw Y/N standing there alone and she looked like she was ready to murder someone.

"Are you really going to return home without even thanking him?"

"This is none of your business child"

"I am over a thousand years old, do not call me a child and I think Loki at the very least deserves a thank you, he's changed, your just to pig-headed to realise it, He's your son, blood or not, you still raised him, so most of the problems he has are probably your fault"

"I beg your pardon"

"You heard me, even if he wasn't your blood son, that never gave you the right to treat him any differently than Thor"

Y/N walked back to the group leaving Odin to think about what she had said, Frigga came up to Y/N as she sensed something.

"I believe you and Loki share a bond, a bond no one will ever understand"

"I don't understand"

"You will my dear, you will...one day" Frigga hugged Y/N and walked up to Odin. The Bifrost came down from the heavens and they were on their way home.

"No offence guys but your father is a complete prick" said Y/N 

"I couldn't agree with you more" said Loki

"Lets go home" said Steve

The group turned around to see about five media outlets and to make matters worse Loki was not supposed to leave the tower.

The reporters, were going live and Loki was directly in front of the cameras with the rest of the team.

"Shit, guess we're out of the bag, Fury's going to kill us" stated Tony who looked at Loki who was standing next to him.

"Lets just go home, we'll deal with this later, I'm exhausted" said Bruce

The team made they're way to the jet and they went home and collapsed onto the sofa's in the lounge. 

"I never understood tiredness" said Y/N 

"Vampires don't get tired?" asked Clint

"Nope, just hungry, which reminds me, I'm starving"

Y/N walked to the kitchen and poured herself a glass of blood, she downed it and returned to the lounge where she saw Fury holding Loki up by his throat. Y/N sped walked over to Fury and grabbed him off Loki by his throat and put him up against the wall, Loki dropped to his feet and he rubbed his neck and coughed. 

"Don't touch him!" demanded Y/N showing her red eyes and fangs.

"Y/N put him down" ordered Steve. Y/N didn't even acknowledge Steve's words.

Loki walked up to Y/N and put his hand on her shoulder, she looked at him.

"Put him down" said Loki

Y/N dropped him and sped off to her room, but she used her vampire hearing to listen in.

"She's protective of Loki, we don't know why" said Nat who got Fury a glass of water.

"My mother said that they have a bond, a bond none of us will ever understand" said Thor

Later that night Y/N was sitting in her room trying to contact her brother Nik.

' You know who this is leave a message' said the voicemail

"Hey Nik, its Y/N. I really need to talk to you, Things have been a bit hectic lately, Rebekah has asked about you and so has Elijah, I haven't heard much from Kol but I think he's okay...I really need to talk to you, I almost lost it today, if you decide to reply I'm living in New York now, Find me, Love you" Y/N hung up the phone and sighed.

There was a knock at the door, Y/N knew who it was by the smell of them.

"Come in"

Loki walked in.

"Hey" she said not even looking at him, she was sitting on the floor next to the wall of floor to ceiling windows.

"Are you okay?" he said sitting opposite her.

"I guess"

"Fury said that If I stayed out of trouble I could stay out of the cell when he's around"

"Cool"

"And that I could even go on some missions"

"Great" said Y/N who still hadn't looked at him.

"He's not mad at you, you know"

"I couldn't care less about Fury"

"Then why aren't you talking to me, or even looking at me"

"Because I never wanted you to see me like that"

"Like what?"

"When I was younger I could massacre entire villages and still want blood, my siblings always kept me in check, but now... Its getting harder to control"

"What is?"

"The bloodlust, I wanted to rip his throat out, I wouldn't have stopped with him, I would've killed everyone, you included"

Loki took Y/N's hand and she snapped her head to look at him, she was worried that she would hurt him.

"I know you would never hurt me"

"I killed the last man I was in love with Loki, I never want to hurt you"

"You won't"

"How do you know?"

Loki's skin began to change colour, his skin was becoming colder and his skin bluer, his eyes were red.

"Because I know Bloodlust"

"What...?"

"Remember I said I was adopted...this is what I looked like when I was born, this is my true form"

Y/N moved to and sat cross-legged in front of him, she ran her hands up his arms tracing the lines on his skin. Y/N looked him in the eyes and smiled, she kissed him and she began to feel her face changing so she pulled away.

"Sorry" 

"Its okay, you can show me"

Y/N looked up at him and he brought his fingers up to the protruding veins under Y/N's eyes. His fingers traced over them and his hand rested on her cheek.

"Beautiful"

Y/N looked Loki in his still red eyes and smiled, she never thought anyone would accept her.
