Anyways this was meant to be a two-parter but I split them both instead this one is 4855 words. 

Two more chapters then we have the first book done. I hope you guys enjoy this because the ending of book one is going to be different.

previously on Lok

The Amon Nation has attacked they took over the air benders location.

Nathan got caught by Amon, Lin got away with Tenzin and the other safely,

Korra, Mako, Bolin and Asami are now living in the sewers.

And now

we arrive to see multiple Equalist airships patrolling the sky just above City Hall and the camera slowly pans to reveal numerous mecha tanks on the city square and the pathways.

Hiroshi: "It is a glorious day, my Equalist brothers and sisters. Amon has torn down the tyrannical bending government." we cut to the probending arena where construction cranes can be seen re-building the glass roof. Multiple Equalist banners adorn the outside of the building. "He has declared bending illegal." 

we change to a side view shot of Avatar Aang's statue a large Amon mask has been put on top of Aang's face. An Equalist banner hangs from his airbending staff. 

The scene changes once again to Hiroshi where he is seen giving a speech. The Lieutenant and a chi blocker are standing behind him. "Our great leader has a vision for the future," he shouts as we can see a crowd listening to his speech. Several chi blockers line up as a perimeter around the crowd 

"one day soon bending will no longer exist and we will live in a world in which everyone is finally equal!" Hiroshi punches his fist into the air and the camera cuts again into the crowd looking up at Hiroshi. "The United Forces are on their way right now to try and stop that dream but we will prevail!"

Hiroshi opens both his arms out with confidence and the crowd cheers and raises their arms in support. A female chi blocker turns towards her partner and nods as they both turn their backs on the crowd and walk away. The camera changes to some shrubs and bushes as the chi blockers make their way through the foliage. They walk towards a giant rock and the female chi blocker earthbends the rock as both she and her partner run and jump into the hole. As they descend, the rock moves back into position.

The camera cuts to Mako and Korra in chi blocker outfits but without their masks. It was the two chi blockers we saw earlier. They are walking down a metallic and somewhat rusty corridor.

Korra: "Can you believe Hiroshi? "The Avatar is on the run". I'm not running from anyone." Korra rolls her eyes "Let's go back up there and knock some heads," Korra punches her fist into her palm "they'll never know what hit 'em."

Mako: "Relax," Korra continues to walk away but slowly as she listens "General Iroh's coming with an entire fleet of battleships." Korra stops walking and raises her eyebrows. "Then Amon will be the one who's running."

Korra: "I hate this being patient stuff." she sighs looking at the ground with a frown "I wish Nathan was here." mako nodded frowning understanding how she felt.

she journeys down the corridor and Mako follows.

Cut to Bolin and Asami sitting on crates as they watch Pabu look at a sprig of leaves in Bolin's hand. He moves it up and down as Pabu performs a backflip. Pabu then crawls up Bolin's leg and onto his shoulder as Bolin and Asami turn their heads towards the left of the screen. The camera cuts to Asami and Bolin walking towards Korra and Mako and there are shabby tents set up in the background.

Asami: "You two were gone a while." She runs to Mako hugging him.

Mako: he replies rubbing her hair "We were doing reconnaissance. sorry, I didn't want to worry you." he smiled at her and she smiled giving him a peck on the lips. they both go and sit by Bolin.

Asami: "care to join us Korra?" she smiled and nodded

Hobo: The park hobo from the first episode suddenly comes into view "Welcome back!" Cut to the front of everyone sitting in a semi-circle as the hobo happily makes his way in between them and he clutches his jacket happily as he dances "Hope you worked up an appetite 'cos dinner is served."

He extends his arms out and pulls Mako and Asami closer to him. Cut to a pot of orange-brown gruel as the hobo stirs it and ladles the contents into a bowl. the group sitting around a log that is used as a makeshift table. The hobo offers the bowl to Korra and she accepts it.

Korra: Thanks so much for letting us hide out with you the past few days.

Hobo: "Honoured to oblige." He picks up an empty bowl on the table and offers it to the others as he ladles the gruel into the bowl. "My associates and I heartily oppose" Bolin supports the bowl with both hands "Amon's so-called "Equalist policies we got benders and non-benders living together" The camera cuts through the living space of the hideout and various makeshift tents are seen. "down here, but do you see us fightin'? No siree. we figured out how to harmoniously co-exist."

Bolin: Asami who gives the others a weird look "You are a wise and noble hobo." He spoons up the gruel into his mouth "Mmm... This is" He brings the bowl up towards the hobo. Asami stirs the contents of the bowl. "the best tasting street gruel I've ever had!" Asami lifts the spoon up from the bowl and stares at it, then at Mako as he eats the gruel.

Hobo:  replies enthusiastically "I culled it from the finest dumpers the city has to offer."

Asami: The camera cuts back rapidly to Asami who already has the spoon in her mouth. Her eyes close and open back comically with small beady eyes as the top half of her face turns green. "Blergh."

Mako: points at her bowl with his spoon "I'll take that if your offering." 

Asami: surprised "you already finished your bowl?" she asks and he nods. she gives him her bowl and Mako begins eating. Mako places his empty bowl and Pabu runs towards the bowl and squeaks he licks the leftover gruel like a cat.

small time skip

The scene changes to what is presumed to be night and Bolin and Mako are asleep on the floor in their sleeping bags. Pabu is sleeping above Bolin's head. The camera pans to the left to show Korra resting on a sleeping Naga's side. She is back in her usual outfit.

Asami: "Can't sleep either?" Korra turns her head towards Asami.

Korra: "No, I have this...." she pauses as Asami sits next to her "awful pit in my stomach."

Asami: Me too.

Korra: It's so crazy. A few months ago I was in the South Pole practising for my firebending test, a day ago I just confessed to Nathan and now I can't find him and now I'm in the middle of an all-out war.

Asami:  I know how you feel, I mean i have to confront my father whos working with Aamon honestly I'm afraid to learn more things about him that he kept away from me.

Korra: nodding in understatement "we have a lot on our plates don't we."

Asami: "hey at least we aren't alone."

Korra: "yea you've got your loverboy other there." she said pointing to the sleeping fire bender. Asami slide looking at him "yea Its nice to know he's  by my side... sooo Nathan's your boyfriend now?"

Korra: flustered "w-wait did I say that!" she asked. Asami nodded.

Asami: we already know plus we saw you kissing before we left.

Korra: Cut back to Korra as she gives her a soft smile but frown and sighs "I can't help but worry something happened to him." 

Asami: maybe you should probably try to get some sleep, the situation we're in often makes our thought so he might be on the way with general Iroh to help us.

Korra: feeling a little relieved "Good night." she stands up and walks away from Korra joining Makos side.

Asami: Good night.

Korra: she whispers "good night Nathan." Korra leans against Naga with her eyes wide open as she has a worried expression on her face.

With Nathan,

I'm locked in a room tied to a pole with a mask tied to the bottom half of my face. Amon still hasn't taken my bending away which alright but the fact is that he plans to take it from Me in front of Korra. sighing I close my eyes and think back to my talk with Tarlok.

FLASHBACK

Tied up and beaten slightly because of my amazing joke to Amon was tossed into a jail cell. Trying to run out before they can close the door but it slammed in your face.

You: dammit!. 

???: I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm actually glad to see a familiar face.

puzzled you turned your head to the voice coming from the corner of your cell. the figure moved from the shadows to be lit by the light coming through the bars. 

Tarlok: hello Nathan.

Nathan: wow so this is where you've been all along. huh.

Tarlok: indeed.

Nathan: you kidnapping Korra, was the worst thing you did.

Tarlok: sighs and speaks "It's too late to change the past if I could I would have come out earlier about my brother." hearing him speak you barely felt any emotion as if you were talking to the wall. "brother? whos that?" he looked outside the bars before replying. "...Amon." 

Nathan: "...WHAT!" you shouted though Tarlok didn't respond to your outburst. "how can Amon be your brother?, how can he take peoples....." you paused as the pieces liked together what Korra told you about her visions when she was captured, how Tarlok can well blood bend "Amon can take bending away by blood bending! that's it he's a bender." you said earning a surprised look from Tarlok. "exactly how did-" you moved your hand up to stop him "hold on I'm on a roll here.... um... Yakone must be your father he must have thought you two how to blood bend for revenge!.. hold on some things aren't adding up here how did your brother become Amon?" 

Tarlok: are you sure you cant figure it out, you seem like quite the detective.

Nathan: I have many hidden skills but I can't read minds so could you tell me how all this began.

Tarlok: might as well... you see it all began.

After Tarlok told his tale you remained silent for a few a while.

Nathan:...I'm so sorry.

Tarlok: nothing can be done about it. what needs to be done now is stopping my brother.

Nathan: I'll see to that personally.

Tarlok: "and how might that be?" he spoke with intrigued 

Nathan: Amon said he would take my bending in front of a crowd since I saved the last airbenders I'll tell everyone then. 

just as you said that two equalist came in and opened the lock to the jail, they wrapped black mack around your mouth blocking your voice and then a bag over your head.

Rand Equalist: "this is for insulting Amon." the equalist said punching you in the face knocking you out.

Tarlok: was that necessary you blocked his field of vision. 

AND NOW

Amon turns towards the Lieutenant and the camera cuts to the front of the Lieutenant as he nods and walks off-screen. while you were being taken away the allied forces of the fire nation arranged to Central city, predicting this Amon sent multiple fighter planes to stop General Iroh's advancement.

The scene returns underwater as the camera points towards two ships. Bombs keep dropping into the water. Korra swims into the screen and heads toward one of the ships. Cut back to the surface where a plane flies by and drops a torpedo. back up to the battleground as soldiers on the ship see the silhouette of the torpedo rushing towards their ship.

United Forces soldier: Incoming!

We see two soldiers get thrown off into the water by the force of the explosion and they yell. The scene returns to the sky as one of the Equalist aeroplanes rotates itself to the side slightly and fly down to the ships. 

Two soldiers firebrand flames into the turret while the third soldier firebends point-blank towards the Equalist plane which easily dodges the fire. As the plane flies away, it releases a bomb and it explodes, knocking the soldiers off their feet.

Cut back to the water as Korra surfaces for air and she looks at the carnage. Her eyes follow a plane as it drops another bomb which strikes the ship behind her. The scene to a group of smoking ships and one of them is partially sunken into the water. The planes fly by, ignoring the fallen ships. Cut to an earthbender inside the ship as he earthbends an earth disc with a grunt towards a passing plane. He is immediately knocked off his feet by a wave of water caused by an explosion. Cut to the front of the ship as the plane flies away towards the camera. As it nears the camera, we see two earth discs trailing behind and it smashes the plane. The scene changes to the back of the plane as we see that the plane is cut cleanly in half and the pilot of the plane ejects safely in his parachute.

Cut to General Iroh and two fire benders in a firebending stance. As they release their fire to the front of the fire turret that is adorned with the Fire Nation symbol. The scene changes to an Equalist plane in the sky and we see the fire from the ship shooting outwards and hitting the plane. The pilot of the plane sees the damage and immediately abandons his vehicle. Cut back to General Iroh as they watch the plane explode and the pilot floats down to the water safely in his parachute

With Korra

Korra takes a deep breath and dives back underwater. She then spins herself, causing a whirlpool to swirl around her. The scene cuts back to the top of the water as we see a spout of water containing Korra leaves the water. After she reaches a certain height, Korra moves her hands around in a circular motion. 

An Equalist plane flying in the direction of the spout and an ice spike suddenly materializes out of the water in front of it. The plane crashes into it and one of its wings break off. The plane skids along the surface of the water and slams into Korra's water spout. 

The spout immediately disintegrates and Korra lets out a groan and plunges into the water as she lands in the water, a torpedo is seen hurtling towards her and Korra water bends the water around the torpedo and sends it rocketing towards the surface. The torpedo makes contact with an Equalist plane and it explodes. As the plane crashes into the water, the pilot is heard screaming as he falls into the sea. Korra surfaces for air and looks around. She begins to swim towards one of the ships.

Cut to Iroh opening a hatch and climbing a ladder to one of the lookout posts on the mast. The camera zooms out as he firebends and destroys two planes out of the air. The range of his flames is long and powerful. He continues firing as one plane dodges. 

zooming out more planes flying around the chaos and the ship next to Iroh's has sunk. Cut back to Iroh in the lookout post as he sees three planes flying towards him. With a look of determination on his face, he firebends a series of shots by punching and kicking. The trio of planes dodges the flames. However, one of the planes gets hit and it drops out of the screen. The other two planes keep on flying and another firebending blast knocks another plane off course. The remaining plane keeps flying towards Iroh's ship as it keeps dodging the flames. As it nears the mast, it drops a bomb. 

A/n- I'm pretty sure Iroh learn from Zuko's dragon-like the old Iroh did in Atla.

Time begins to slow down as the camera zooms into towards Iroh as he firebends at the rocket. A side view of the ship where the bomb explodes, taking out the mast and the plane flies by unharmed. Iroh being thrown off by the explosion and the left sleeve of his uniform has been burnt off and we can see a nasty wound on his arm.

Cut to underwater as Iroh's body slams into the water, unconscious. His body begins to sink gradually and Korra swims towards Iroh. She grabs his body with one arm and uses the other to paddle back to the surface. Cut to the surface of the water as both of them cough and gasp for air. There is debris floating around them.)

Korra: It's alright, I've got you.

Iroh: coughs and look back towards Korra "Avatar Korra," smiles "you saved my life. Thank you."

Korra pushes her arm out and water bends them rapidly out of the chaos. We return to the hideout and we see a couple of refuges are seated in front of a fire. The camera pans to the left to show Iroh seated down as Korra heals him with her waterbending. Asami, Bolin and Mako stand around them.

Iroh: I was prepared to deal with Sato's mecha tanks but not these new high-speed aircraft.

Korra: Korra continues to move her hands around to heal "I know. Every time we think we have an advantage, Amon outsmarts us."

Bolin: Bolin speaks and Iroh and Asami turn,s their heads towards Bolin "No matter what our plan is, he always has a better one."

Iroh: Amon is winning so far. We're not out of the fight yet.

Bolin: "I like this man's confidence!" clenches his fists proudly "So, how (puts a hand to his chin) are we not out of the fight?"

Iroh: stands up and Korra stops healing. He puts a hand over his wound. "The second wave of reinforcements is on the way, but I need to warn them." turns his head towards Korra "Do you still have a way to get a message out?"

Korra: smiling "I know just the man for the job." we are shown a close up of the hobo as he holds up a wire in each hand and plugs it in. 

Hobo: And who is the recipient of this top-secret message?

Iroh: "Commander Bumi, Second Division of The United Forces." The hobo cracks his fingers, massages his wrists and waves his right hand around

Korra: Tenzin's brother?

Iroh: Yes. Bit of a wild man, but the bravest commander you'll ever meet.

Hobo: Ready, sir.

Iroh: "Fleet ambushed and destroyed by Equalist aircraft. Retreat to Red Sand Island until my signal. Do not approach the city until you receive the all-clear." The telegraph device as the hobo keeps tapping. The scene changes to a map of Republic City as Iroh's hand moves along the map and stops in the upper left corner of the map.

Iroh: Now comes the hard part, we need to ground those aircraft. Otherwise, Bumi's fleet will never be able to re-take the city.

Mako: Walks towards the table and points to the upper left part of the map "They flew in from this direction. The airfield must be somewhere over this mountain range.

Iroh: "Everyone gets ready." turns towards Mako "We leave at dawn." Mako nods and everyone is dismissed as they walk away from the map. Cut to a close up of Asami who is deep in thought Mako comes up behind her placing his hand on her shoulder, her facial expression changes to a look of determination.

Asami: It's time to take down my father.

Asami walks off-screen and we cut to a shot of a doorway as Korra walks through it with a sad expression on her face. She looks up at her friends and the camera cuts to the back of Korra's shoulder.

Korra: "Wait." Everyone turns around to face Korra face as she looks down solemnly "I'm sorry but" frowns and looks back up to her friends "I'm not going with you tomorrow."

Mako: What?

Asami: Why not?

Korra: she looks on angrily "I'm sick and tired of hiding from Amon." turns her head to the side "It's time I face him."

Iroh: steps forward "That's not a good plan, we need to stick together." Asami, Bolin and Korra look at him.

Korra: she throws her arm to the side angrily. "I'm not waiting for him to hunt me down. My guts tell me it's time" points her finger to the ground "to end this, on my terms." 

Iroh: Korra, this is not (Mako turns his head towards Iroh) a mission you should be handling alone.

Mako: Korra doesn't be stubborn Nathan wouldn't let you do something like this.

Korra: worried "You don't have to do that, I know he  wouldn't but he's not here, so I'm going and theirs no stopping me."

Asami: are you sure there's no other way?

Bolin: yeah come on we know your the avatar and all that but this is too reckless even by your standards.

Korra: sternly holds her ground with a look that says they can't change her mind "I said I'm going."

Iroh: "Hmm... My grandfather would respect the Avatar's instinct." moves his hand down and looks to Korra "So will I."

A/n- Does that make any sense cause Iroh's grandfather would be Zuko's dad fire lord  Oozai and that doesn't make sense cause he wanted to kill the Avatar and become phoenix king. Am I missing something cause that really messed with my mind?

The scene changes to the buildings of Republic City as the sun rises on the horizon. Cut back into the hideout as we see Mako in chi blocker uniform. Bolin, mako and Asmi walk towards Korra and the group hug embracing each other.

Bolin: stay safe Korra.

Korra: "steps into Bolin's arms and they hug I will. Good luck." Korra breaks the hug and pets Naga "If you're going into the mountains, you should bring Naga." Naga raises her head and Korra nuzzles her companion as the polar bear dog grunts "Take good care of them for me."

Naga licks Bolin and Mako he was going to lick Asami but she managed to move out of the way as brothers look unamused while Korra gives them a sheepish smile.

Hobo: "Good fortune" raises arms "and success to you" brings arms down and clutches hands into fists "valiant heroes."

(he hobo brings his arms back up again. Cut to the entrance of the hideout as Korra exit. she walks into the water and water bends a bubble of air around herself. Along the shore of the city, Korra breaks the bubble. she climbs onto a rock and puts on her chi blocker masks.

Cut to a view of Air Temple Island as she climbs up the slope. An Equalist airship hovering above a tower. Cut to Amon being brought up to the ship by a line and he boards the ship.

Korra: being stealthy (there's Amon.) she thought to herself  (I need to get into the temple.) The airship flies off (Then ambush him and have him tell me where Nathan is.)

she walks down the path towards the tower. 

Lieutenant: (off-screen) What are you two doing here?

Korra: "I was just transferred."

Lieutenant: Well, you're getting transferred again. Amon wants extra security at the arena today.

Korra: The arena? For what?

Lieutenant: The rally. You should have been briefed about this.

Korra: "I'll be there," Korra gives the Lieutenant a bow. 

she comically shuffles sideways off-screen. arriving at a wall within the air temple and the pair are seen beside a small secret wooden door built into the wall. Korra lifts the door and crawls inside the hole in the wall as the door shuts behind them. Inside one of the rooms in the tower as she pair ascends the stairs and walk across the room. Korra comes across a ladder ( the attic I can hide in the attic.

Making sure no one followed her she turns her gaze behind her and we are shown a lone figure clad in blue being held behind bars in the attic.

Korra: Tarrlok?

Korra removes her masks and we cut to a close up of a dishevelled looking Tarrlok.

Tarrlok: I don't suppose you're here to rescue me.

Korra: "We had no idea you were here. Are there other prisoners on the island?" she asked with an almost desperate tone in her voice.

Tarrlok: "No." looks down "I'm the only one. but there was someone else here someone you might be interested in Nathan." he said earning a small smile from Korra. 

Korra: smiling about hearing about you but before pushing any further held a perplexed look as to why he was left here "And what makes you so special?"

Tarrlok: Cut to a close up of Tarrlok with his eyes closed "I'm Amon's brother." He opens his eyes and looks up at the young Avatar. Korra gasps shocked by the revelation. 

Time skip by me writing the next chapter the title "not calling this ENDGAME".

After Amon briefed about his story a second time. 

Korra: This whole time, Amon has been one step ahead of us but finally, we have the advantage. We know the truth about him. If I expose him as a bender in front of all his supporters... I could take away his true power!

Korra: (Cut to a close up of Korra as she turns her head towards Tarrlok) Thank you, for your help... but there's one thing i still want to know".

Tarlok: as if he read her mind "It's about Nathan I assume."

Korra: "yes you said he was with you what happened?" she asked with concern in her voice.

Tarlok: I'm not too sure, all I know is Amon has plans for him and still hasn't taken away his bending my thoughts would be that he's planning to use him as an example of sorts.

hearing the last words Korra's stomach dropped as she was reminded of Amon's promise the night she prematurely challenged him.

Korra: Amon's words rang in her mind ("our showdown, while inevitable, is premature. Although it would be the simplest thing for me to take away your bending right now, I won't. You'd only become a martyr. Benders of every nation would rally behind your untimely demise. But I assure you I have a plan and I'm saving you for last. Then you'll get your duel and I will destroy you and everything you swear to protect" "LET HER GOOO" you shouted as Amon turned her chin facing you  "and I'll make sure as you watch everything you care about fall including him.") snapping back to reality her face of fear soon changer to that of pure unadulterated determination.

Tarrlok: "Go. Amon can't know" walks towards the cell bars "anyone spoke with me. Defeat him." He grabs the bars with both hands "Put an end to this sad story."

Korra looks a little sad but nods and her expression changes to resolve. she runs off down the hatch to the attic and descends while Tarrlok watches her. The door shuts and dust flies around. Tarrlok remains standing still, looking at the hatch.

A/n-wow I hope you guys enjoyed it as were coming closer to the end of book 1 and the extra chapters I added but haven't updated cause I'm patient I think?. I hope you guys liked this.
