Nathan finds himself useless not seeing as a protector for Korra.

Korra tries to open the Southern spirit portal but fails in the process. forcing her to remember what Amon has done to her.

Bolin begs Nathan to know how to escape his relationship but every time he asks he's taken away by force.

Mako and Asami are doing well.

And now.

Next day 

At the Southern Pole, we zoom in to a large blue building. Inside we pan to see Unalaq and Tonraq. And Korra's mother whos sitting in between watching them Argue back and forth.

Tonraq:

Unalaq: We need to depart Immediately!. What do you not understand!

Tonraq: My daughter is in no shape to leave the Souther Pole! brother!.

Unalaq: But that is why we must she needs to reconnect her auras with the Moon Spirit. Its what she needs to feel whole again... is that not what you want for your daughter for her to feel like her self again?.

Tonraq: I... Tomorrow.

Unalaq: Faintly smiles "I thank you I promise to do my best. for my niece."

Tonraq: I know... Thank you for coming and... thank you again.

Unalaq and Tonraq smile at each other briefly as brothers would.

In the room ahead we cut to Korra rolled up in a ball starring at the wall. The look of defeat was visible on her face.

Korra: looks at her hand "Why am I even the avatar?"

she talks to herself some more before a familiar voice came from the entrance to her room.

You: Because we gotta deal with it. I' mean that's what your words were when you became an avatar.

Korra: surprised "H-how?" she said her eyes on you as you move to sit beside her.

You: I had a nice chat with your mom while Unalaq and your dad were arguing over you I think they're fine now. soo~.

You were about to ask how she was but were cut as she vented everything out.

Korra: "I CAN'T TAKE THIS!!" gets up from the bed pacing around "HOW CAN I BE THE AVATAR! I CAN EVEN FIX SOMETHING AN AVATAR DID!, MY BENDING IS ALMOST GONE A-"

her voice hitched before continuing. You noticed taking the moment to add a compliment.

You: but we're going to get them back so thats a plus.

Korra: "RIGHT THATS THE ONLY GOOD THING THAT HAPPENED TO ME!"

You: ouch! my feelings.

Korra: right sorry it's just I'm lost when I couldn't open the portal It made me realise that nothing changed for me I-I feel like... the world doesn't want an avatar like me. some of the people of republic city blame me when it's their fault since Am-

she pauses a moment, your eyes widen as you realised the words that were about to leave her mouth "Amon" she's never said him when talking about her nightmares and we even went the length to not say it around to make her feel at ease.

You: Korra you do-

she raises her hand up blocking you and decides to speak her voice breaking every moment.

Korra: "No I'm fine since Amon took my bending away." she sniffs and turns to you "ever since then it feels like I'm suffocating and can't fight back. I feel helpless."

you stayed quiet for a moment trying to find the right words but gave up and got up.

You: places arm on her shoulder " Please stop saying those things, I don't want to go through this again, there's a reason why you're the avatar, others may not know it, you might not but I do its because your strong when Amon did what you did, you did everything to bounce back up, when you went back to republic city and people blamed you for spirit attack and others losing their electricity you didn't take it you made the know it was their own faults." cups her cheek, she leans into it with s comforting sigh.

Korra: Nathan...

You: "Korra you're the best avatar there's ever been and if people don't like then they've gotta deal with it."

You said hugging her which she accepted wholesomely.

She lets out a small laugh.

Korra: sniffs "is that all she told you." she said looking in your eyes. "nope she told me a lot of things even the letters you sent about me."

You: Also you don't know how to cook basic stuff?

You said trying to move her from her topic.

Korra: okay in my- you see- nobody told me anything!? alright geez! some on.

It worked.

You: I know I was just teasing now then let's go we're leaving to the North tomorrow.

Korra: alright then Water bending first! hey does this mean I can finally meet your family?

You: Yeah~...oh crap it does.... oh crap.

She gave you a puzzled look but ignored it, hugging you tighter. "Hey, Nathan." you look down at her "Hm?" "thankyou," she said ending it with a kiss on the cheek.

You: it's nothing.

you hug her back rubbing her hair. I won't let you feel like this. Ever.

You: ....short stuff hehe.

Korra: rolls eyes. "wow real original, shut up and hug me."

After the moment Everyone was summoned for a meeting.

Tenzin: departing tomorrow it seems a bit fast but considering the circumstances its the most viable option. Well, start our preparations.

Varrick: Understood I already bought some reel estate here anyways something about Oh Zhu Li do the thing!.

Mako: so wear finally going to see where you grew up huh this'll be nice.

A woman wearing glasses comes between you and Korra.

Zhu Li: so how was the journey to the south pole and back what exactly happened who did you fight any important details you have to say please say them now so we can use them as a special effect.

You: Alright that's enough were not answering anything. So it's decided then.

Tonraq, Unalaq, Tenzin, Katara and the others nodd.

You: good then we're free to leave.

Korra: ah~ alright then all talk got boring anyway time for some fun! hey wanna go penguin sliding with me?

You: Sure thing! sounds like fun.

Korra: great we can invite Asami and Mako.

You: what about Bolin and Desna?

You both turn outside of the building to see Bolin dragged through the snow by  Desna and Eska.

Korra: you were saying?.

You: Alright lets go.

Time-skip to tomorrow morning.

We pan to a Piere beside it was a Large ship that belonged to Varrick being Boarded by Unalaq, Desna And Eska walking up the ramp. Outside stood Tenzin and his family with there badges about to board the ship, Ikki and Meelo jump excitement circling him.

Ikki: Yay! I can't wait to get room service!

Meelo: ROOM SERVICE WE CAN ORDER ANYONE THERE!.

Tenzin: letting out a heavy sigh "no kids we don't do that please behave it was very polite of Varrick to allow us to accommodate with him. Though I still think we should've ridden on Oogi."

You walk in the frame behind him "Oogi doesn't have enough space for all of us nor the energy to travel from the South to the North Pole Tenzin."

You spoke as he nodded in agreement. While you were next to him you grew confused as to the location of Pema.

You: Uh? T where's Pema?.

Tenzin: She's already on the ship along with my siblings there relaxing in the massage lounge." he said slightly agitated. "And you're not joining them because," "I don't need people touching me to relax."

With Pema, Cya and Boomi.

inside a brown candlelit room we see The trio relaxed as masseuses massage there backs slowly each wearing a white uniform. While Boomi was having his hair combed.

Pema,Cya,Boomi: mmmmmm~

Cya: hey~ Pema.

Pema: mm~?

Cya: where's Ronan.

Pema: he's with a sister... Ah~ this might be the best vacation yet.

Pema,Cya,Boomi: mmmmmm~

You: hmm I thought we were going to see Vacation Tenzin?

Tenzin: What this is Vacation Tenzin!

You: "oookay." you said Boarding the ship with everyone else.

After placing your stuff in your shared room you ventured out with Korra waving goodbye as the ship took its leave. The ship was broken into four areas the bottom part is the storage and engine room where Oogi is staying with a supply of cabbages and cactus juice.

Above that was the lounge/dinner/service and kitchen area, above that, were our rooms which were separated by gender on the right were the men and left women. And above that was the control room.

I was currently in the lounge area with the gang well without Bolin oi so I thought until he came in through the double doors exhausted. The sad thing I know the feeling.

You: Eska?

Bolin: huff yeah.

he walks in and plops on the curved booth the four of you were sitting at, next to You. The seating arrangement was Mako on the far left followed by Asami, Korra and You.

Mako: why don't you just break up with her?.

You/Bolin: you don't think I've/he's tried!

You both share a look.

Mako: Hang on Why don't you ask Nathan how he did it.

he said as a bolt of realisation stuck Asami.

Asami: YOU DATED HER!.

Korra: Hang on yeah I remember now.!

You: cursing under your breath. "Thank you.You.Mako!." you growled. He giggled and turned away.

Bolin: oh my saviour tell me how to do it please! set me free!.

You: Woah I'm no messiah I was lucky thing ended before it got serious.

Bolin: "it gets worse!~." he wailed his eyes looking at you for something but you couldn't look him in the eye.

You: look just say what you want and she'll listen she's very reasonable.

Taking that as hope he took a one-eighty and smiling.

Bolin: I'll do that when the times right.!..

Korra: alright that's solved now I've been meaning to ask how dod you two meet.

You began to get nervous looking to get out of this. somehow. Korra realising this says.

Korra: Boling if he makes a ring for it hold him.

he salutes and nods scooting closer to you. "A formative I will hug him till he falls."

Mako: oh god don't try to escape. If you're close enough his hugs will make you stay.

Asami: I'm also curious about this If you don't mind telling us.

You: at least you asked nicely... fine I'll tell you... It all began-

Bolin: W-wait, wait!.

he leaves and calls to a butler "sir can you get me some Pop Corn."

Butler: of course, sir what kind.

Bolin: sweet and salty and make it two.

He pulls a tray out of thin air revealing them to Bolin: He gasps and takes them and returns to your side.

Bolin: Alright go!.

Nathan: aright about ten years ago so when I was about eleven.

Eleven-year-old Nathan's Pov

We cut back to see a young Nathan in a blue bagged short and shirt practising his water bending by moving his hands in a wave-like fashion. "Atew!" he sneezes and the water he holds drops to the snow floor.

???: You seem to have caught something Nathan.

hearing the voice I turn to see master Unalaq "Master I-I didn't know you'd be here."

Unalaq: Its quite alright I was finished with my duties so I decided to check up on you with some company.

did he say company? I thought before I looked behind him and see two other kids my age wait their twins, are they both boys or girls.

Unalaq: gestures to the on left "meet Eska my daughter" gestures to the on right "and Desna my son. I will be venturing to the spirit world this evening. So you will be in their care."

You: But I dint need baby sitters.

Eska: He opposes me helping his futile bending.

Desna: It seems his pride has been hurt.

You: Geuk! Pride no! and my bending is better than both of yours.

while this was transpiring Unalaq left to go meditate.

You: I can beat you both with one hand behind my back! hmph!

Both twins look at each other

Desna/Eska: and what if we beat you?

You: Gah! oh god, don't do that, please... uh, winner orders the loser.

Back to the present

Asami: So you lost to them.

Korra: wow and I thought I was cocky but you were straight up-

You: Can I get back to my story, please.

While Nathan was telling them how the challenge, outside the front of the ship Tenzin, walks into see Unalaq meditating in peace.

Tenzin: I hope I'm not intruding.

Unalaq comes back and replies.

Unalaq: No not at all. Please join me.

Tenzin smiles and sits down beside him in a meditating stance as well.

Tenzin takes a while to collect his thoughts thinking about how to start a conversation with Unalaq until a question reaches his thoughts.

Tenzin: Unalaq If I may ask what is your connections with spirits.

Unalaq: smiles " ha~ it's been a while since I've talked about my past with spirits."

He takes in a deep breath.

Unalaq: As long as I can remember I've had a special connection with spirits I've always been able to see them frolic in the North pole.

We cut back to a young Unalaq around the young age of 6.

Unalaq: haha! Look behind you.

he said running around a heavily snow dense forest. While from an outside perspective it would seem as though he is alone the truth is from is he's playing a game of tag with a floating green bunny deer.

Unalaq: you're not gonna catch me!

he said bobbing and weaving through threes gaining more distance. Eventually, he hides behind a tree his breath clearly shows in the cold.

He turns his head trying to spot his bunny friend but is only met with a trail of dust. "huh?" he said before a light tap is felt on his head he looks up to see it floating above him upside down." He pouts realising he lost "dammit." "Okay! go hide and I'll count." The bunny drear spirit does a loop in the air before leaving. Unalaq closes his eyes and begins to count "1,2,3,4..."

Everything around him fades to black as he opens his eyes/ Tears can be seen running down his face as the forest he used to play in getting chopped down and turned into a shopping district before him.

Unalaq: Ever since then I could never see him, I tried searching even as I got older I would venture to the spirit world to find him but... nothing.

While he and Tenzin contu=inued to talk about spirits and their connection to it. You were just about finishing your story.

You: and thats how it went down.

Mako: so they have a poster of you at the nursery to keep you away?.

I nod.

Bolin: If I do that then do shell leave me?

I shake my head no.

I yawn feeling tired. I cant

Korra lets out a small laugh.

Korra: alright guys it's getting late and I think.~

she rubs your head. and you let out a low growl.

Korra: this guy needs to sleep. Plus its getting late.

she also yawns and the others nod in agreement. After some time we all decided to go to bed soon weel be at the North Pole and Korra and I can get our bending back.
