A/n- I don't have much to say other than I hope things are okay for you guys times have been hard but this isn't the worst of thing so enjoy. Also, Legend of Korra is on Netflix! Yes! anyway after having flights cancelled and being able to see my smiling cousins faces for the third year in a row I've kinda lost all motivation but! I have nothing inspirational to say this year was the absolute worst. Hopefully, things get better next year.

A/n- I came back to change some things because I find my writing hard to read so I'm rewriting this Please tell me if it's easier to read. Also here's a sneak peek of the next two chapters. I haven't started book3.

Other than that I hope you enjoy it!. and please tell me if this way of writing is easier.

Previously on Legend of Korra

Unalaq and Vatuu's spirit army have crossed into the spirit world and are making their way to destroy the city.

Nathan is in the spirit world trying to find Jinora where ever she might be.

Korra is at the air temples with everyone else waiting for more reinforcement.

Korra: Dad (sighs relief) thank you for coming. There's no time to explain but in short terms, Unalaq has freed Vatu and the evil spirit and are now coming to destroy the city to make a new spirit portal and the rest of the world.

Korra: Dad it's not your fault actually he has a point. But he's not using the right method.

Tenzin soon joins in the conversation while the others Asami, Mako, Bolin, The mayor, cya and Boomi, and Lin sit around the large table waiting for whoever's left to come.

Tenzin: Korra I'm sorry but Nathan is taking too long I'm going into the spirit world to aid him.

Korra: What but T we need you here. Look outside Harmonic convergence has begun meaning the spirits are stronger under Vatuus influence and so is he we can't lose anyone else we need everyone here.

Tenzin: I understand the dirty but what father am I if I wait and hope TO GET MY DAUGHTER BACK! if I can do something about it then I will I'm going after my daughter.

Korra goes to say another word but Tenzin's already rushing out of the room the others share a worried look while cya and Boomi gets up saying they'd follow him to keep him safe.

And now

In the spirit world with 

You look on slightly confused as to why everyone was here.

Nathan:' I can't believe this'  Why are you guys here? I know my way around the spirit world I can get Jinora back in time.

Kya: Sorry but Tenzin's been worrying like crazing so we came along with him.

Tenzin: Really because we're walking in circles! I've seen that same Spirit Mushroom five times! 

Bumi: That's not the same mushroom.

Spirit Mushroom: Yes, I am.

Nathan: Are you a nice mushroom?

Spirit Mushroom: I'm not telling you.

Tenzin: See? Even it knows we're lost.

Bumi: Oh, sure, listen to a fungus over your own brother.

Nathan: We really are lost.

Kya: What's that?

Bumi: Mushroom, is that you?

Spirit Mushroom: Nope, wasn't me. 

I turn my head to the source of the sound and smile at the figure emerging from the glowing trees.

Nathan: Hello Iroh's I see you got my message.

Tenzin, Kya, and Bumi looking at it and gasping. Iroh emerging from the shadows with a spirit fox by his side.

Uncle Iroh: *smiling* Hello.

Bumi: Iroh?

Tenzin: How...? Where...? It's been so long.

Uncle Iroh: Almost 40 years. It's nice to see you again. Hello Nathan.

Tenzin: How did you know we were here?

Uncle Iroh: Nathan told my friendly spirit fox that you were lost. I came to show you the way out.

Tenzin: Iroh, we are grateful, but we're not looking for the way out. We're looking for my daughter.

Uncle Iroh: I'm sorry to hear that, but you shouldn't be here. Vaatu has escaped, and darkness threatens to take over.

Nathan: we already know that and there coming to destroy republic city we need to gather everyone, but Jinora's stuck here but we need her back.

Tenzin: Thats why we're here and I'm not leaving until I find Jinora.

Uncle Iroh: I understand but I beg you to be careful. If you travel too deep into the Spirit World, you could end up in a place where only the lost will ever find you.

Tenzin looks to his brother and sister with concern. They look at each other as Tenzin looks back to Iroh, but Iroh has vanished. 

Tenzin: A place where only the lost can find you... That's it! I know where to find Jinora!

realising what he meant Nathan shook his head against it.

Nathan: Nonononono NO we are not going there alright! 

Tenzin: You know the way to the fog of lost soul.

Nathan: Mn... yes.

Tenzin: Then yes please lead us, Nathan, I beg you.

Nathan: No absolutely not there's another way we can go to Koh he might know what we need.

Tenzin: Are you insane!. I- Nathan I beg you please I want to save my daughter. Please.

Nathan:... *Sigh* fine Let's go 

Kya: why does that sound so familiar?... wait! the face stealer!. Nathan, please tell me you were joking.

Nathan: No I was planning on going alone and have you guys stay somewhere safe.

30 minutes later of walking everyone arrived in front of the spirit fog a long cord liking everyone's arms together.

Tenzin: Jinora! Jinora!

Nathan: we're gonna be here forever.

Bumi: *stops Tenzin* Wait a second.

Tenzin: what? Do you hear anything?

Bumi: Yes, they're all around us. The cannibals, they're everywhere.

He looks very frightened his eyes darting everywhere while sweating.

Tenzin: Bumi, you must focus your mind right now. There are no cannibals.

Bumi: Yes, there are! They're gonna eat every last one of us!

Kya: Aah! Who are you two?!

Nathan: I thought it would take longer for it to kick in.

Tenzin: *grabbing her shoulders* were your brothers.

Kya: No, you are just a vision! I have no family! You can't tie me down! 

Bumi: They're closing in! *unties the cord and runs off* I gotta get outta here! Aah!

Kya: *unties her cord and runs off as well* Aah!

Tenzin: No! *Kya disappears into the Fog* Bumi! Kya! Come back!...(Turns to Nathan) do you know what's going on?

Nathan: yep the fog... it affects the mind making you lose your sanity and go insane.

Tenzin looks around a moment before shooting gusts of wind around his to push back the Fog. He creates a large blast, but it only pushes the Fog back a moment before it comes back and Tenzin fades into it. 

Nathan: It won't work you have to accept your self if you want to be free.

Tenzin: How do I do that.

Shaking his head no Nathan sighs.

Nathan: I don't know I just accepted my flaws that's all.

Back in Republic City on Air temple Island.

inside Jinoras room Korra paces back and forth. Eventually, she turns to the meditating Nathan body.

Korra: Come on Nathan we don't have much time.

The door behinds open.

Mako: Uh Korra we got a sittuation.

Korra: Huh? What's going on?

Mako: Desna and Eska are here.

Korra: What! how is the army here too?!

Mako: I'm not sure my self but we need you to come to them out so It's best if you come to the hall.

Korra: mn

They both leave the room and head to the hall inside everyone gather si sitting around a large table.

Tonraq: We've evacuated everyone from the furthest side of the city away from the ocean.

Lin: my officers are keeping them safe so if any spirits manage to somehow get past Iroh's fleet and the city then they'll be there to defend it but since they want to destroy the city I doubt they'll get close.

Raiko: I still believe there has to be another method we can't leave my city defenceless like this.

Soon Korra's voice echoes through the hall.

Korra: we have to if not innocent people will get hurt if not even worse. Besides, I'll be there to fight Unalaw and Vaatu with my father's help.

Raiko: huff how confident are you in your skills avatar? do you think you alone can change the outcome?

Korra:..yes

General Iroh: If the avatar is sure of herself then we've already one I'll do everything I can to support you.

Korra: Good, now then. uh? what are you two doing here?

Desna: It's obvious is it not?.

Mako: no that's why she asked.

Desna: Of course more useless dialogue we are here to help you fight my father. After realising he was willing to let me expire and bring eternal darkness to what he calls a new age. Even we realise he's gone too far. So we went ahead of the army to aid your side even if we will all fall...

Hearing that everyone froze and turned to the twins

Korra: wait where is the army?.

Eska: You haven't noticed? 

Bolin: what? noticed what?.

Eska/Desna: There already here.

BOOOM!

the radio at the centre of the table begins to buzz with static

Radio Man: Something terrifying has arrived at the other side of the Ocean a massive army of spirits! Their aim seems to be the city as there approaching with dangerous speeds whats this Among them seems to be a waterbender leading them along with a larger spirit. 

Radio Man: Wait a moment it seems a fire nation fleet is seeking to protect the city bombarding the spirit army with constant fire blasts.

Korra: Everyone moves out now!.

Pema: But what about Jinora and the others.

Korra: Trust them they can get out of there in time. Lin, you and Mayor Raiko get to the arena make sure everyone is there keep any spirit that gets too close away*She and Raiko nod and rush out the hall*, Mako, Bolin, Desna, EskaDad you guys are coming with me to the city. Asami I want you to-

Asami: "I'm coming along." she said putting on the electric gloves along with utility belt lines with grenades explosives and more (she's basically batting girl but with shock gloves.) "This is also my home."

Korra: alright then we leave immediately.

she turns to Raiko who interrupts her knowing the plan. Holing a walky-talky in his hand

General Iroh: I know we're keeping the spirits away from the city already but the water bender and a few spirits managed to break through our blockade along with that ominous spirit. (he turns and runs out the window flying towards the fleet).

Bolin: so cool.

saying that he gets up following everyone to the city.

Desna: Surely we will perish.

Bolin: Are you ever positive.

Back with the others inside the Fog of lost souls

Nathan is walking through the fog himself having been here once the fog doesn't affect him so he can see through it clearly.

Nathan: Now where are you oh...

I see her Kneeling in the distance and pick up the pace so we can get out of here down to lift her carefully.

Nathan: hey sleepy head wake we got a city to get back to.

he lightly shakes her before lifting her.

She looked very tired probably from having to stay in the fog for too long.

Jinora: mn. Nathan?.

Nathan: Just hold on tight we'll get out of here... But first.

I look back over to Tenzin who's looking around like a crazy person talking to himself. It and of funny and sad. 

Nathan: I'm not going over there.

Tenzin: I must stay focused. Remember who you are, Tenzin. You are the son of Avatar Aang. You are the hope for future generations of airbenders. The fate of the world rests on your shoulders. 

Tenzin: But what if I fail?. Then your father's hope for the future dies with you. 

Tenzin: I can't fail! 

Tenzin: You will. Aah! Stop it! I am the son of Avatar Aang. I am the hope for future generations of airbenders. I am the son of Avatar Aang! 

Aang: Hello, my son.

Tenzin: Dad, I've failed you. I am no spiritual leader, and I've let the world down. I'll never be the man you were.

Aang: You are right. You are trying to hold on to a false perception of yourself. You are not me, and you should not be me. You are Tenzin.

A cloud of fog surrounds Aang, and he changes into a mirror image of Tenzin. Tenzin looks on the ground looking up, as his expression changes into one of resolve. He stands up

Tenzin: I am not a reflection of my father. I am Tenzin. I am Tenzin.

The Fog around Tenzin disappears and reveals the other people trapped there. Cut to a close up of Tenzin as he looks out in front of him. He looks further and sees Nathan carrying someone on his back from a distance.

Nathan: I'm not having a lot of screen time am I?

Tenzin: Jinora! 

Nathan: Nathan! You're alright too. wow, do I even exist right now?

Tenzin runs up to them and hugs the weak Jinora.

Nathan: T we still got some more patients.

Kya's head hanging and her face expressionless as Tenzin walks over to her, carrying Jinora in his arm. Nathan takes Kya by the arm and leads her away. and with Bumi, his head also hanging and his eyes closed, as we see Nathan take his arm and lead him away. 

Tenzin carrying Jinora and Nathan leading Kya and Bumi out of the valley as the Fog comes creeping back in. Finally out of the field Bumi slowly regains his consciousness.

Bumi: Ah... What happened?.

Kya: I think our brother saved us.

Jinora: Dad. 

She gives a weak smile and hugs him. 

Tenzin: You're going to be okay, sweetie. I'm here.

Nathan: Am I invisible or what.

Jinora: Nathan. 

She hugs me weakly, It was still lovely so I decided to pat her head. Later some spirit butterflies fly over to Jinora and land in her hand.

Jinora: What happened? The last thing I remember is dark spirits taking me away.

Tenzin: You were trapped in The Fog of Lost Souls, but I wasn't going to let you stay there. 

Jinora: I'm so happy to see you, Dad. 

Nathan: Be glad you didn't see him a moment ago he was all bout the fate of the world and air benders on his shoulder.

Hearing the realisation of his words hit Tenzin like a truck.

Tenzin: you could see through the fog!?.

Nathan: Well yeah what part of I've been here before don't you understand I'm already a better person. Besides you a spiritual guide now congratulations. 

Nathan gives a quick smile the turns into a serious look

Nathan: Alright then Celebration time is over we have to go immediately we've been gone too long.

Back in the real world half of the republic city is in shambles and still being destroyed by spirits.

Asami takes out a few grenades and throws them at the group of spirits leading them away from the building they were destroying into Desna and Eska who exorcise them away. into a street corner.

Desna: this tactic is only slowing the inevitable.

Asami: yeah well I don't see you coming up with anything better.

Desna I didn't say it was a bad plan.

Eska: But where is father?.

suddenly Mako came bursting through a wall

Mako: ugh!

on the other side of the wall emerge a bull-like spirit, it stomped its hoofs changing at Mako.

Asami: Mako!

she runs up to its side grabs the nearest horn and flips over the momentum dragging the beast across the floor and shocks the spirit till it puffs into smoke.

Asami: Are you okay?.

Mako: *coughs* better now. Thanks. I think this side is clear we should head on to Korra and her father.

before anyone replies a purple beam shoots through the sky and up to the lights of the harmonic convergence. Then came a roaring voice everyone looks at the sound and sees Vaatu rising to the sky getting larger and seemingly stronger as he blasts one of the flying ships under Iroh's command.

Vaatu: And now with Harmonic Convergence at its peak!.

Unalaq: A new era shall rain!.

back in the spirit world

butterfly spirit comes to Jinora who now standing on her two feet better than before.

Jinora: The worlds in trouble.

Tenzin: What are you talking about? How do you know?

Jinora: I can feel it.

Bumi: What happened?

Nathan: Is Korra alright what went wrong.

Jinora: mn. This light spirit will guide us out of the spirit world. We have to be quick come on.

The butterfly begins to glow light blue and fly away Jinora runs after her and everyone else follows.

While running

Nathan: 'Korra's gonna be fine. Korra's gonna be fine.'
