A/n: now this is the time we're gonna have some epic and sad moments and someone's death may be, I'm the god writing so let's see how this goes. I've thought about this chapter deleted and rewritten so many times because it could end 3 ways each changing my plans I'll put them at the end so you can see what could've been.

After saving Jinora from The Fog of Lost Souls and leaving the spirit world. They're now heading to the city with haste to support the others as the final battle is near.

And Now

Partially Ruined republic city 

Fade in to an extremely wide, high establishing shot of Republic City at night. Police airships fly above it and battleships are lined up in the bay to defend the city. An aurora fills the sky above, creating a twilight that illuminates the entire area.

On Air Temple Island, Ikki and Meelo hold onto the now awake Jinoras arms in comfort, and Pema holding a sleeping Rohan as they stare out over the balcony from the top floor.

Ikki: Ooh. Pretty.

Jinora: Harmonic convergence is at its highest peak this means the spirits are stronger.

Hearing Ikki looks at her with a worried face asking

Ikki: will daddy and the others be okay?.

Jinora:...

Pema: They will we just have to believe it.

suddenly a massive carpet rises into the sky seemingly getting bigger gaining more power. (the same since as Unasvaatu but just vaatu as I think it's stupid for him to fuse with a human despite how much he hates them)

Meelo: Monster attack!

He said as they all turn to Vaatu who grabs the statue of Aang with both hands and tendrils. He grunts and begins to pull, then throws Aang's statue down into the water, creating a huge splash.

Vaatu: AHAHAHA!

he lets out a laugh having destroyed the statue of and behind fighting the airships destroying them one by one with spirit beams while tanking their fire blasts at the same time.

In Republic City

Nathan: KORRAA!

I shouted looking for her the entire port side of the city was in ruins but what made it worse was that we couldn't find the others Korra wasn't here

Nathan: dammit I shouldn't have left.

I cursed myself for leaving and kept on running searching for them. Then suddenly the voice of Tenzin shouting reaches me.

Tenzin: They're over here!

Tenzin, Kya, and Bumi kneeling to the unconscious Korra, Mako, Bolin, Desna, Eska and Tonraq, you kneel also clutching Korra in my arms closely.

Kya: They're going to be all right, but I need to get them into some water right away.

Nodding I run to the shore and bending with me a large body of water and send it to Kya and she splits it into water pods each for one person as Bumi and Tenzin pick up everyone one by one placing them inside.

As soon as everyone is there in their own pods we both begin to waves our arms and waterbend as some of the water glows and passes back and forth over them. my eyes were on Korra's profile as she opens her eyes and lets out a gasp as she sits up. Mako, Bolin, Asami and the others soon follow, and they all gasp for air and look deathly frightened.

Nathan: Thank goodness you're okay.

Bringing her into a tight hug I kiss deeply on the lips her seeing she's fine was a huge relief. she also returned the kiss lovingly before she asked still in my arms.

Korra: I missed you too. I'm guessing you find Jinora?

Tenzin: I was able to rescue her soul, and return to her body she's with Pema and the children. She sensed the world was in grave danger and here we came what happened?.

Korra: She was right.

Nathan: Were you able to stop Unalaq?

Korra: Unalaq we took care of him but Vaatu...

she said trailing looking in the distance to see Unalaq frozen in a pillar of Ice unable to move the spirit fight of the United defence Air fleets.

Tonraq: My brother believed Vaatu would come to his aid but was tossed aside once he had no use.

Korra: he's stronger than ever before there's no stopping him...

Bolin: No! I'm too young to live through 10,000 years of darkness! Korra, can't you talk to one of your past lives to go avatar mode to win?

he asks then Korra lets go of you and moves away facing everyone.

Korra: I can't I've been trying every time and time, again and again, but NOTHING! I can't go into the avatar state I can't fight Vaatu as I am.

Tenzin: If that's true, then-

Korra: Vaatu won.

she said as a tear rolled down her eyes Korra begins to cry, and across her friends looking at her with worry and concern. I knew she was feeling like something had to be done I thought looking at Vaatu was nearly done wiping out the army.

Kya: She needs you now, more than ever.

At the sea, Vaatu continues firing spirit beams as planes fly overhead. He looks up and grabs one with his tendrils. The pilot ejects and parachutes just before UnaVaatu smashes the plane into the water below, causing it to explode while Chief Lin and President Raiko looking down at UnaVaatu from inside an airship.

Raiko: It's going to destroy the entire city.

Lin: Our only hope is the avatar now.

Cut to a high close up of Vaatu as he looks up at the airship. He proceeds to power up, his red markings turning purple, and he fires a huge energy beam from his chest at the airship. The beam hits the tail of the airship and it creates a fire as the ship begins falling towards the city, turning in circles. Cut to police inside holding on to the rails as the alarm sounds Lin's hand pulls a lever, then cut to the ship's ramp opening up behind her.

Lin: We're going down!.

The police jump out of the falling airship and use their wires to swing to safety. Raiko holds onto Lin before she also shoots out her wire. It wraps around a stone dragon head on the roof of a building, and she swings off with Raiko. She and Raiko land and slide over a roof, destroying the tiles and stopping just at the edge as the airship falls behind them. Lin stands and Raiko is laying on his side as the camera cuts to an over the shoulder shot of them looking over the city and at UnaVaatu in the bay. 

Vaatu swings his tendrils to the side then thrusts his fingers down into the water and ground below. Cut to a high, wide shot of the city docks as the tendrils erupt from the water and cover the area, turning into vines. Cut to the city's brightly lit Harmony Tower and tilt up as the vines wrap around it. just as he finished he was bombarded by the remaining fleet of airships.

Letting out a frustrated growl he turns back to them intending to finish them off.

Elsewhere in a cell, Varrick does some stretches and Zhu Li reading a book in his cell as they listen to the radio.

Shiro Shinobi: It's pandemonium in the streets, giant vines are destroying everything! This is Shiro Shinobi signing off-AAHH!

Just as Shiro screams, vines burst through the cell wall and knock the radio over, as well as Zhu Li. Varrick looks up curiously from his toe touch. Cut to a shot of the outside wall broken by the vines as Varrick pokes his head out. In the distance, UnaVaatu can be seen. Varrick steps out and looks at the giant dark spirit. He takes out a pair of goggles and puts them on.

Varrick: Zhu Li, commence operation "Winged Freedom"!

Zhu Li wearing a large, rectangular backpack with wooden handles sticking from the top to the sides runs over to Varrick and jumps on his back, wrapping her legs around his waist and strapping the harness around him. Varrick jumps out, and they begin sky diving off the side of the building.

Varrick: Do the thing!

The backpack opening up and sprouting mechanical wings. Varrick and Zhu Li's descent is slow down, and they begin to glide away. 

Back at the coast

Korra and her friends stand watching the carnage that is Vaatu as you and Tenzin walk up to her sitting on a rock.

you stand back letting Tenzin go first and do the talking.

Tenzin: The other Avatars may not be able to help you at this moment, but perhaps I can.

Korra: No one can help me now.

Tenzin: I know I haven't been the best mentor to you, but I realized it was because I had a lot of spiritual growth to do myself. There may still be a way for you to stop Vaatu.

Korra: How?

Tenzin: Let go of your attachment to who you think you are and connect with your inner spirit.

Korra: Haven't you heard anything I said?. I can't connect to the raava spirit no matter how hard I try. I'm not strong enough.

I don't know why but seeing her like this did seem right Thats not what he means realizing she doesn't get the point I decide to help.

Nathan: he's not talking about Raava. Raava is not who you are. who you are is someone entirely different. The first avatar was hot-headed and always did what he can how you're just like him you never needed someone to tell you how to be strong you were already strong from the beginning. Avatar wan was just like you so anything he can do I know you can do better.

Korra: Avatar Wan.

Tenzin: Before he fused with Raava, Wan was just a regular person.

Korra: But he was brave and smart and always wanted to defend the helpless.

Tenzin: That's right. He became a legend because of who he was, not what he was. He wasn't defined by Raava any more than you are.

Korra turns over to Vaatu who was floating on top of the ocean, making Korra gasp. All the fleets were destroyed leaving only republic city left.

Vaatu: AND NOW RAAVA ITS TIME TO END THIS PATHETIC STRUGGLE COME AND FACE JUDGEMENT!!.

Korra: Everyone in Republic City is in danger!

Tenzin: You have to help them, Korra.

Nathan: you already know how all you have to do is best and connect with your spirit. Don't bend the elements, but the energy within yourself. You've got this. After all your best girlfriend ever.

you said smiling warmly at her which she returns then giggles slightly. But then asked a question most of you were thinking of.

Korra: But how are we gonna stall vaatu I need some time.

she said getting up, everyone turned to each other looking for an answer but you just smirked and said.

Nathan: Obviously I will.

You said as everyone turned to you looking like you were crazy.

Bolin: are you insane!

Mako: you can't hold him off on your own that's suicide!.

Nathan: what? he's on the water that's my element folks, besides I know what I'm doing I have a plan.

Everyone kept on trying to persuade you to not do this but you had a plan.

Korra: let him go.

Korra said and T joined in as well.

Tenzin: If he has a plan then it's better than nothing.

you weren't gonna wait anymore we were running out of time you turned to head to the coast but before reaching the water Korra pulled you back.

Korra: Are you sure about this?.

she asked me looking concerned to which I smiled back. 

Nathan: positive you just meditate and enter the avatar state okay.

Korra: You really think I can do this?

Nathan: I have no doubt.

Korra goes in for a hug, which you return saying she's the best girl ever.

Korra: Thank you for not giving up on me.

Nathan: No matter what when or why I will always believe in you. And It's not just me that's believing in you everyone else is.

You separate and Korra immediately goes into a meditating stance as you jump on the water skating towards vaatu once you get far enough you hear a voice in your head.

Yue: So the time has come to repay my debt.

Nathan: Yep let's beat this mofo!.

Yue: Agreed.

Vaatu sees you heading towards him and senses something unusual with you. But before he could say or do anything you sunk deep in the water your eyes closed for a second before they glow and you clam your fists together making the water around you glow as well.

back with the others

everyone moved away from Korra giving her some space as they stare at you in the distance and the figure of vaatu making you look like an ant. 

Tonraq: Does he really have a plan to hold back such a terrifying force?.

Desna: He would never lie or do something so life-threatening without a plan. he's so hot.

Bolin: so cool. 

Asami: well should prepare in case they're still any spirits around that might interrupt Korra.

she said everyone nodding in agreement as she looked at her glove tweaking it before the reflection of the moon shined brighter than usual.

Asami: What the?

she said and looked up shocked everyone else soon followed her gaze with the same reaction. THE MOON! was up in the sky but not like usual the sky around it vanished leaving a hole for everyone to see.

Bumi: Uh Tenzin what is going on.

he asked his brother also shocked. Everyone else expecting an answer.

Tenzin: I don't know...

Eska: Isn't it obvious.

everyone turned to her with a look of huh?. then she just said one word.

Eska: Nathan.

She said looking at the sea the spot where you were was now glowing blue. Then suddenly the water began to rise pulling from all sides. Glowing with someone at the centre you!.

The water rushes from all sides transforming into... the Moons spirit form which is now your spirit form.

On Air Temple Island, Ikki and Meelo hold onto the now awake Jinoras arms in comfort, and Pema holding a sleeping Rohan as they stare out over the balcony from the top floor.

Meelo: Mommy look! It's a giant Monster fight!

Pema: Who the other monster.

Jinora: Thats Nathan and the water spirit Yue!. She's holding back vaatu.

Pema: What? Let me see. 

she takes a telescope and looks through it, then gasps

Pema: Be careful, sweetie!

Back with you

Vaatu: How dare you to get in my way siding with the mortals after I'm done with you I'll kill your other!.

He shouts at both you and Yue as he shoots two tendrils to hit you but you merely your arm and water encase it freezing them. Then your Moon forms arm turns into ice hammer and you move down smashing it into his body forcing him underwater. 

You/Yue: It is you DARES to Upset the balance of this world!.

Your mixed voice shouts and dives into the sea-fight clashing with Vaatu outside only everyone could only see waves erupt and spirit beams shot out to the sky.

With the others

Bolin looks on the side sporting a small army of spirits rushing towards them.

Bolin: Ugh guys.

he says as everyone turned with wide eyes.

Tenzin: Thereafter Korra we must defend her art at all cost

Mako: Get ready there coming!

Asami steps forward both her gloves sparking with electricity Mako steps forward and controls the electricity her glove to his fingers passing through his hears and shoots it towards the army, followed by Tenzin shooting a blast of air, Kya throwing a stream of water, and Bolin bending a wave of rocks all one after another. 

With you underwater vaatu shoots consecutive beams at you which you swerve past and get up close sticking with an uppercut chipping away at him, moving your hands in a circular motion the water around him freezes but explodes with energy freeing him and knocking you back.

Nathan/Yue: damn he's persistent isn't he?

Vaatu: Is that all you have to offer pathetic.

Nathan/Yue: I think your forgetting where you are. You're in my element.

Your spirit form swims in closer and so does Vaatu getting up close for another clash. another explosion of water erupts from the bottom of the ocean for all to see.

and we return to the group in the city fighting the dark spirits. Tenzin leaps backwards towards Korra everyone is fending off the spirits, who pressure them with a relentless assault. Bolin throwing large rocks and grunting. After he does a kick, but a dark spirit's tendril wraps around his ankle and starts dragging him in.

Bolin: Heeeeeelp!

The spirit is hit by a stream of water and disappears, letting go of Bolin. Eska and Desna leaping to Bolin's defence and protecting him from a snake spirit about to strike him. They destroy it, and each throws a blade of water that cuts down more spirits.

Eska: Leave my Bolin alone!

Desna: I am so done with spirits.

Bolin: Eska! I love you! 

He kisses her cheek, then takes a fighting stance between the twins, stomping his foot and summoning a rock in front of him. 

Bolin: Let's face the end of the world together!

Eska: You're so romantic.

The three of them each throw an attack at the camera, and we cut to an extremely high angle shot of UnaVaatu and Korra.

Within Korras mind

Raava: so you are finally ready.

With a gasp, she opens her eyes and looks around.

Korra: Raava? what is this she asked as Raavas voice echoed throughout her mind?

Raava: This is the final chakra that you must accomplish before mastering the avatar state.

Korra: what must I do?.

Raava: Step forward.

Hearing her voice she entered the ball immediately her eyes outside turned white. 

Raava: concentrate Korra let go of all your earthly attachments.

Back inside she felt terrific as if she was connected to everything but suddenly a vision of Nathan and the spirit form being tangled by Vaatus tendrils around his neck and his spirit form neck appeared in her mind shaking off her concentration.

Korra: NATHAN!.

Raava: Concentrate the world is at stake.

Korra: He can do this. I know you can.

she closed her eyes letting go of her feelings and regaining her concentration.

Under the sea, you struggle to keep conscious as Vaatus grip increases Grunting in pain your instinct takes over and you bite down on it.

Vaatu: You APE!

he screams letting go but before the tendrils can move back your spirit form grabs onto it and begins to spin him around Once fact enough you let go of him and send him flying out of the sea and up into the air.

Back with the others, they close into the circle with Korra at the centre. everybody bending their elements at the spirits.

Kya: we can't keep this up for longer!.

Mako: we have to as long as it takes!

BOOM!

Just as they were going to be encased in a sea of spirits a massive beam of light erupts from the centre where Korra was sitting the light erased all the spirits standing around them.

She stands up and steps out of the light her eyes glowing as well as Raavas spirit

Tenzin: Korra you did it.

Tonraq: Amazing.

no one else dared to say anything more specifically they didn't know what to say.

Korra: Damn right I did.

she smirked slamming her fists together.

Korra: Now. where. is. Vaatu.

summoning the devil Vaatu is blasted out of the sea you come to the surface and bend a water tendril wrapping around him and slamming him down into the water.

Korra: Nevermind I got it you guys just relax and watch the show.

she said as jumped on the water and began running to you and Vaatu.

Korra: HEY BABE!

she shouted when she got close enough hearing her you turned a moment from  Vaatu and see her enter the spirit from meeting you in the centre.

You saw her eyes glowed meaning she was in the avatar state. you couldn't help your smile and neither could she.

Nathan/Yue: You did it, I'm so proud of you right now I could kiss you.

Korra: hehe I am too.

Nathan/Yue: wait what's with the tattoos

Raava: The tattoos are my spirit, Nathan.

you heard a voice echo from Korras "tattoos" as they glowed. then Yue stated to speak through you.

Nathan/Yue: light spirit raava it is my honour to be in your presence.

you well Yue said through you bowing in response.

Raava: Likewise and I thank you for holding off Vaatu in my presence.

Nathan: Okay not that introducing each other is good and all but we have a spirit to exercise. it's not like he's gonna wait for us to stop talking and attack.

A/n- Erin broke the one tule of anime never attacks when transforming.

The water begins to bubble as Vaatu rises from the sea slowly. Vaatu props himself up with tendrils facing you and Korra. Vaatu's chest pattern glows brightly. 

Vaatu: Raaava I see you've come to end this farce.

Korra/Raava: the only thing that's coming to an end is you!.

Nathan/Yue: damn right!.

you both said slamming your fists together. Korra waves her arms around and begins to power up an air dome and fire begin to surround her as well as a stream of water circling her. Vaatu fires his chest beam at you both, Korra still charges up beside you while you tank the blast with an Ice shield. The beam collides and creates a shockwave, sending waves through the water. The beam pushes against you, and the shield begins to crack.

Korra grunts as she thrust her arms down and pull them up at an angle when tho massive lumps of earth appear on both of Vaatus's side she clenches her fists then and the boulders two smashes into Vaatu crushing him.

he falls backwards over the water. Korra flies over towards Vaatu, and he looks up and throws his tendrils at her. Korra swerves past one and grabs the of the tendrils and pulls on them, pulling Vaatu off the water surface towards her ad she bends a large amount of lightning and shoots him with it.

You then follow it up by reeling him in with all his tendrils, and throwing him over your shoulders, and then tossing Vaatu back into the sea. you then lift your arms slowly and freeze him in place Vaatu has a brief moment to look up and sees Korra jumping at him from your spirit forms shoulder, just before she delivers and devastating lighting strike. she floats back 

Vaatu: You are you think this will hold me back you fool! once I'm free I will KILL you both! I to lose to mere mortals!

Korra enters your spirit form and arriving beside you as you move closer to Vaatu, then the both of you begin to wave your arms and bend a double helix around Vaatu. He tries to free himself but you continue to heal the cracks keeping him locked longer as the water begins to glow with golden light. Gold light begins to form in his body, spreading upward, and we cut to a close up of UnaVaatu's face as it reaches his head.

Vaatu: No!

Korra/Raava/Nathan/Yue: It's over!

UnaVaatu: Nooo!!!

Vaatu disintegrates into particles of gold light. seeing him begin to vanish Korra closes her eyes as she finishes the ritual and places her fist against her palm.

Vaatu: I can't die like this no!

in his last moment, he begins charging a spirit beam behind his disintegrating body it was larger than any beam he has ever made which is why to mask it and at the last moment blasts it at Nathan and Korra and since they were up close everything happened to fast.

Korra: Go in peace.

Nathan: MOVE!.

In the next second the beam expanded rapidly and pierced through your spirit form's top half you managed to push Korra out of the way. good, you thought as the beam collided with you and kept on pushing you until you crashed into the wall of a building and landed with a thud on the ground. 

You tried to get up or move but the pain was too much to bear as it spread all over your body losing your consciousness began to fade to the point you only saw three things. 

Vaatus body disintegrating in the distance in a brilliant light.

Korra running towards you with everyone behind.

and nothing.
