"Are you suppose to be Spider-Man?" Jin chuckled.
Namjoon nodded holding up his mask. "Yeah. I'm the lame Spider-Man before he gets his actual attire."
"Interesting choice." He smiled.
"I could say the same about you."
Jin held up his hands which were fake scissors. "I'm Edward Scissorhands." He grinned excitedly.
"You look so good even when being dead. Well, I mean you look good alive too. What I'm trying to say is that the costume fits you well."
Jin blushed unable to stop himself from smiling. "Why thank you."
"I adore that movie." Namjoon gushed. He did but he he adored Jin more.
"Me too." He told taking a sip out of his cup. After their song stopped playing they just remained talking. Namjoon didn't mind a bit.
"Uhh...so I see you're here by yourself." He told trying to figure out why he wasn't with her.
"Yeah. Like I said we aren't really talking anymore."
"Sorry." He said looking away. He picked up a random cookie from the plate and started nibbling it.
"It's fine. I don't really like her." He admitted quietly.
"Oh," he responded in surprise.
"Yeah." He kept drinking out of his cup until he was almost finished. He didn't really know what else to say.
"Hey Jin,"
"Mhm?" He asked looking at him.
"I don't know if I make it too obvious, but I like you. I mean really like you."
Namjoon didn't know if he confessed because of the costumes, the environment, or simply the pressure of holding it in.
Jin held his breath with his eyes widening. The blush on his face deepened. Even with the amount of makeup he was wearing it could he seen.
"Namjoon I..."
"I know. I've heard you say you don't like men." He whispered.
Jin's heart felt like it was speeding so fast he thought he'd faint. Yes, he had said that, but he had doubts.
Namjoon being the primary one.
If he truly didn't like men why did he feel this way every time he came around?
Namjoon extended his hand to touch the side of his cheek. His skin was very warm. He never thought he'd get to touch him.
"Just let me adore you, yeah? Just a little more. I promise I won't force anything. I just needed to tell you how I felt before I chickened out."
Jin remained mesmerized by the amount of emotions he felt in that split second. Which was the same exact thing Taehyung felt when he saw Jungkook approach him.
"You're here." He smiled. Just ten seconds before the five minutes were up. After Jungkook left the gym—where the dance was at—he stood in the corner wondering whether he should go or not.
"Yeah." He whispered slowly taking steps.
"Curly hair suits you so well."
"Uhh...thanks. Do you really like Harry Potter?" A part of him had asked because he truly wanted to know. The other part simply asked to avoid talking about why they were here.
"Umm...honesty, right?"
"Huh?"
"To show you that I'm worthy of you I need to be honest. At least that's what my friends have been telling me. I kind of suck at relationships and stuff. I don't know how to show you that I care. Therefore, I need to tell you the truth. I've never watched Harry Potter. I did some digging and found out you like it a lot. I watched the first movie and uhh...it's a bit confusing. I gave up so I simply googled the characters to kind of get an idea of what they're like. I think Draco fits me pretty well."
"I think so too." He whispered.
"I'm trying. I really am. I'm trying to show you how I really feel. I know I'm selfish and obnoxious. Hell, I know I'm rude as shit. But what I feel—what you feel—don't diminish that. Don't say it's nothing there because it is there."
Jungkook stepped back taking a deep shaky breath. The only thing on his mind was his boyfriend.
How could he do this to him? After all the smiles, all the texts, all the love that was shared. How could he throw it away for someone he barely even knew?
"Say something. Please." Taehyung whispered. Expressing his emotions out loud wasn't a part of him. It was vulnerable. Taehyung wasn't that. He didn't want to be, but Jungkook was so deep in his thoughts that he didn't care being weak.
If being weak meant having Jungkook he would be just that.
"I have a boyfriend. I can't do this to him. We've...we've shared so many things. I...I don't know..." He said quietly. His throat started getting tight and he could feel the tears brimming his eyes.
Taehyung smiled sadly, "Fucking dammit." He cursed annoyed. "Dammit. Damn everything. Of course. I forgot about that part." He said running his fingers through his hair.
Jungkook gulped down nervously. Taehyung sat on the hood of his car. He laid down and stared at the stars.
"Come lay down with me." He said.
Jungkook laid next to him. He kept his eyes up on the sky though that's not where he wanted to look.
Taehyung slowly reached over and held his hand. "Is this okay?" He asked looking at him. Jungkook nodded biting the inside of his cheek.
Taehyung stayed there admiring every inch of his face. He looked stunning. The cute little birth mark under his lip was so beautiful. Was this love? Was this what love felt like?
"Jungkook, I never knew how important punctuality was until I arrived late to your life."

"Your...your girlfriend?" Yoongi whispered embarrassed. Hoseok wasn't gay. Nor was he flirting. He never had been.
He was just being nice.
"Yes. We've been together for eight months now. Wow. Saying that out loud sounds insane." He grinned.
They held hands and smiled at each other sweetly. This made Yoongi want to throw up. No offense to them. They were adorable, but this meant that Yoongi had been wrong all along.
Why was he in a habit for falling for straight men?
"I love your costume by the way!" She said looking at him.
"Thank you. I—I like yours."
She chuckled, "It's a homemade mummy costume."
"Ahh. Isn't she the cutest?" Hoseok asked gripping her closer.
"Yeah. She is."
"I'm going to grab a drink. You want anything love? What about you Yoongi?"
"I'll have whatever you're having." She responded.
"I'll just have water." Yoongi murmured.
"What? Sorry. I didn't hear you."
"Water." He repeated louder.
"Got it. Be right back."
Please don't leave. He thought mortified. When he happened to glance up he saw Jimin looking at him.
Had he seen Hoseok arrive with Dahyun?
He quickly looked away flustered. Now he wished Jungkook hadn't gone away. He needed a backup. To not seem like such a pathetic liar.
"So, how long have Hoseok and you been friends?"
"Umm...we just started talking recently. He's very nice."
"Right! He's a sweetheart." She gushed.
Yoongi nodded, "Yeah. Truly he is."
"I'm back. I know, I know, I'm super fast." Hoseok said handing them their drinks.
Yoongi instantly took the wager and started chugging it. "Ooh! I love this song!" Hoseok said bopping his head to the music.
"Me too. Let's dance. Want to come?" Dahyun asked.
"Oh no. Thank you. I'm waiting for a friend. You guys have fun." He said declining the offer. Dancing with them both would only seem more pathetic.
It was already weird talking to her. What was he suppose to say? Like 'Hey! Your boyfriend is in my guys-I-want-to-fuck-list and this whole time I thought he was flirting! You guys are so cute together though!'
"Alright. I'll talk to you later." Hoseok grinned.
The song was upbeat and they both moved silly to the beat. They laughed and smiled like it was their first time meeting.
Yoongi stared from the sideline with many mixed emotions. The song suddenly stopped and turned to a slow one.
When his eyes went to Jimin who was now being pulled by Sana to dance his heart broke into a million pieces.
Even though he wanted to look away he couldn't. His eyes were glued to the sickening sight of them two dancing like they were in love.
Maybe they were.
One of his hand was around her tiny waist and they held hands. She laid her head on his shoulder and swayed to the music effortlessly.
Yoongi put the water down heading to the exit. He remembered Jungkook was in the front parking lot talking to Taehyung.
He decided to go out the back to avoid them and other people as well. As soon as he was outside he exhaled loudly.
The air was cold, but nowhere near the cold he felt in his chest. Not even the full moon was enough light to clear up his worries.
He heard the song play inside as he walked back and ford on the grass. He felt anger, pain, and so much jealousy.
He had told himself he would accept this. So why was he here thinking about it? He kept thinking that they were in there dancing to that song when he wanted to be there instead.
The song finally came to an end. Another started playing. He couldn't stop the tears from rolling down his eyes.
The freckles Jungkook has drawn on him were being wiped away by the tears. He grabbed the wig and threw it as far as he could.
"I'm guessing it's not a good night for you." Jimin said as the door closed behind.
Yoongi instantly turned to his direction and there he was. Beautiful like usual. He hated looking like such a loser.
Fuck, he really wished he hadn't come to this dance in the first place.
