Prologue

Logan Crofters had just started high school when he met Patton Hart. They bubbly happy teenager had been talking to a teacher already with no nerves.

The teenager was wearing a blue shirt, with a gray cardigan around his shoulders, khaki pants and brown shoes. He wore black rounded glasses and his face was littered with freckles, he had sandy blonde hair and slightly tanned skin, with rose red cheeks and bright blue eyed, like the color of the clear sky.

Quiet the opposite of Logan, who wore a black shirt, dark blue tie with two different blue tones, brown pants and black shoes. His hair was a dark brown, nearing black and his eyes also a dark brown, also nearing black. His glasses were black and square and contrasted against his white skin, resembling the dead as he never left the house.

The teenager felt immediately welcomed by Patton when they began talking in health and social project a few months into high school. The boy naturally radiated positive energy and joy and happiness, along with the sense of comfort and welcoming. Logan however, was more cold and closed off, giving the sense or superiority and annoyance.

Which at first, made Patton fear the smart man who got all A's in texts and quizzes, however during the project, Patton found Logan interesting and while, yes, sometimes he was incredibly realistic to a depressing point, Patton still enjoyed his company.

He enjoyed it so much that after speaking for five days and the health lesson finished, he asked, "do you want to sit with me and my friends?"

Logan at first hesitated, he hadn't sat with anyone yet and had stuck to the library, but after some thought he agreed and that's where he met his best friend Emile Picani, who sat with Patton.

At first Emile seemed like Patton, loved cartoons, referenced them, was over the top, loud and was also very welcoming and bubbly, however he mentioned that he was hoping to become a psychiatrist when he was older.

The three got along together extremely well and became best friends and before they knew it, high school ended and it was Prom.

For months Logan had wanted to ask Patton to the Prom, as he had started crushing on him since 9th Grade. He didn't realise he could feel live until he met Patton and it all felt right.

However it was only in the last month of school that Patton became his date... and that was because Patton asked him.

They had danced Prom night away with an agreement to try this out even in college, which they did and they had been going strong for years.

Logan went to University and Patton got a job and they began living together and even for married.
