"How Could I Ever Be Mad At You?"
(This is for Dragoncouncil13 because I think she's mad at me, but she won't say it outright, let's get into this)
TW: Feeling guilty, crying, self-deprecation.
Something bothered Patton. Something big. He knew what it was. He didn't know if he should go to the person who started his feelings in the first place.
He was sitting at his desk, watching cat videos on YouTube. He sighed. He couldn't get the feeling off his chest. He wanted to ask Logan something but was too scared.
He debated it for a bit. He felt overwhelming guilt clouding his thoughts until he realized he had started to cry. He quickly wiped away his tears.
He was the heart. If he cried, Thomas would cry as well. He couldn't let anyone know his feelings, even if his feelings were obvious to everyone except for Logan.
He groaned and stood up. He decided to walk to Logan's room and be straightforward with his feelings.
He walked to Logan's room, humming along the way. He stopped in front of Logan's door and took a deep breath. He knocked on Logan's door in his usual pattern.
Logan opened the door and saw Patton. "Salutations, Patton. How can I be of assistance?"
Patton blushed at Logan's wording and he fiddled with his fingers. "Um... well, I was wondering... well..."
Logan raised an eyebrow. "Well, what?"
"Are you angry with me?" Patton asked.
"Angry is a strong choice of words and-" Logan got cut off.
"You are mad at me, aren't you? You won't even get to the point." Patton muttered.
"Patton, how could I ever be mad at you?" Logan asked.
"Well, we're opposites. I like jokes, you don't. I say jokes, and you don't like them. You always roll your eyes when I say something stupid and-"
"Patton, if I may, I do not dislike you nor am I mad at you. You're jumping to a conclusion and I do not like the conclusion you are jumping to." Logan tweaked his glasses.
"Then... you aren't mad at me for being an idiot?" Patton asked.
"Patton, you are not stupid or an idiot. You are Morality, the sense of right and wrong. Even if you tell jokes and puns, it doesn't make you stupid. Stupidity is something else that has its own meaning, the same with idiocy." Logan explained.
Patton smiled, slightly blushing more. "Thank you, Lo..."
"You are welcome. Now, was there something else that you wanted me to explain to you?" Logan asked.
"Maybe... I can explain something to you." Patton said.
Logan scoffed. "As if there is something I don't already know."
"Then... you know about feelings?" Patton smiled a bit.
"I-" Logan stopped his sentence. "Uh, um... well, n-no. I guess I don't know anything about feelings. They are the bane of my existence."
"Then... if I kissed you, would you hate it?" Patton asked.
Logan blushed deeply and Patton could've sworn he saw error signs in Logan's eyes. Logan shook his head a bit and stuttered, "I-I mean... I certainly wouldn't m-mind it."
"Great!" Patton grinned, pulled Logan down by his tie, and softly kissed him. He pulled away a few seconds later. He let go of Logan's tie and said, "I'll see you later, Lo~"
Patton then walked away, leaving Logan to make Microsoft error noises.
(Dragon mom, please don't be mad at me...)
