Log #4
Log #4: These memories cause more pain each and every day. I'm thinking of talking to Ruby or Tennis Ball about this problem of mine, but I remembered what happened between us. – G.B.I drifted to sleep at my desk. The following dream occurred.
T.B. and I were never perfect. We had our ups and downs. We always made up pretty quickly, usually over a cup of tea. One day, we were arguing over what to watch. He punched the wall. Everything shook.
What he saw next broke his heart. "Y-You really thought I was gonna hit you...?" He stuttered. I was blocking myself, expecting a blow to the gut. "I'll be back later today." I told him. I needed to get out of the house. I saw Teardrop, Leafy, Pin, Fanny, and Cake waiting for me in the Iance Supervan.
Cake just started to hang with us. Despite not being female, he just became part of our group. Emotional support. We'd be nothing without him. And there was nothing we couldn't do together.
While we normally go to a mall of something, occasionally we go to a smaller shop. I met up with them outside. "Where today?" Cake asked. Pin exclaimed that there was a new shopping mall. As we parked, I noticed Woody with a shopping bag. "He'd never go shopping. Why is he here?" Teardrop signed. He noticed us and ran to his car.
And it was hot outside too. We all exited the car. I never noticed how big the place was either. I was blinded by the sun's rays, so I couldn't see what the others were wearing. Leafy was wearing her old PE uniform. It was practically a sports top with shorts.
Cake usually wears his school uniform. But since he's mistaken for a girl, it's a dark brown shirt with a pink skirt. Pin, the same as Leafy, but red instead of green. Fanny, a knee-high blue dress. And T.D keeps it plain with a blue top and a skirt. She doesn't like any attention other than Woody's and ours. "Crawl back to Fanny already! You're too weak for our group!" I heard. I turned to see Clock getting bullied by Blocky and Eraser. Pen was there; he was just hesitant to
fight.
Fanny and Teardrop tended to him, while Cake, Leafy, Pin and I yelled. "What is wrong with you!? What did he even do?!" Leafy shouted, her hair turning from a rich green to red. I held her back. "Not just yet." I told her. She took several deep breaths. We had to drag Fanny away from them, as she kept on spewing threats at them. "YOU GUYS BETTER NOT HURT CLOCK AGAIN OR I WILL-" She shouted. The rest was unintelligible. "Relax, Fanny. They don't know our power. He'll be alright." Cake assured her.
She puffed.
We walked a little further. We were gonna stop at a café, but Leafy insisted we go to an accessory shop. She dragged us inside. I saw matching golf-ball and tennis-ball pendants. I decided to buy them. Blew thirty bucks that day. I carried a small bag compared to the others. When we exited the store, I saw my parents.
"She's too much. This'll do her good." Mum said. I saw the flyer she was holding since there was a stack by the kid's playroom. I also bought a tea bag.
"Wilderness Survival. Three weeks with nothing but the great outdoors and no supplies." I read. My parents were going to leave me in the wilderness?! I ran out of the mall immediately that day. I even ran home.
When I finished packing my stuff, (it wasn't that much, three shirts, a skirt, shorts, three sweatpants, one nightgown, undergarments, my phone and a charger) I put the pendants, phone and charger in the middle of my clothes so they wouldn't get damaged. I used a pathway I found when I was younger. I shot T.B a text. 'Meet me in the abandoned tunnel that the path leads you to. Don't forget to bring necessary survival items and some clothes.' I typed. 'Got it. Be there ASAP'
At noon, thirty minutes before they come home, I used the path. I marked it with little marbles. Following them, I stopped at an alleyway. I put the small suitcase I carried with me down.
Tennis Ball shook me awake, a panicked look on his face. He was crying hard, and he was wearing the pendant. "Golfy! I never want to lose you again!" He exclaimed, holding me close. I sobbed on his shoulder. We sobbed for a few minutes. When we stopped, I realized we needed somewhere to go.
"I know a place, follow me." I said. We walked for miles until we stopped at camp. By the fire, several others walked out of tents. It was the cast of BFB. "They're all in a group chat. They quit jobs, sold their homes, and set up camp. We'll need to keep moving." I explained to my shocked boyfriend.
Fast forward a couple years, here we are now. We live a stable life, and I never heard from my parents again. They must've thought I was too excited and died. But this experiment happened and ruined the quiet peace.
