Human Logan-
Logan is fascinated by all things to do with the ocean and space. He would love to be an astronomer or a marine biologist but since his family were all astronomers or lawyers, he decided he would be different and be a marine biologist. He studied for years and finally became one. He was able to research the ocean and it's creatures. What he didn't count for, was mermaids. He never believed things like that, he liked conspiracy theories but he never thought any myth would be true... That was until he was working late at night by the dock and he heard a stress call of a fish, he looked around and saw a bunch of broken nets on the shore. And a fish... man? This surprised the biologist as he dropped his notebook on the dock and ran towards the creature. The man... fish... Merman! The merman freaked at the sight of Logan but Logan was quick to calm him. "Hey, I-I'm not gonna hurt you.... I'm just trying to help...." Logan stated softly as he slowly approached the merman. He noticed that the merman was stuck in the broken nets and what seemed to be a giant fish hook in his tail. "Did someone try to catch you...?" He asked gently as he looked back at the man. He could see the man's gills on his neck, the fin like things where his ears would be, his messy brown hair, and the (color) eyes that were slitted in fear. The merman had a (fish; shark, octopus, etc etc) tail which had blood still dripping down it. The man nodded slightly as Logan finally made it to him. "May I help you...?" He asked softly as he reached out his hand towards the net. The merman looked at him then slowly nodded. "Ok, I'll try not to hurt you..." He mumbled softly as he gently untangled his tail from the net. He looked at the fish hook before looking back at the man. "I have to take you back to my lab-" the man began to freak out. "Hey, hey; it's ok... I'm not going to do anything to you... I need to take you to my lab so I can rightfully take that hook out and make sure you won't bleed to death and will be able to swim again... My name is Logan, I have no intent of bringing you harm... My intent is to heal you and make sure you can swim home again..." The man slowly calmed down before nodding. "Ok... I'll be right back..." He stated softly as he stood up before rushing to the dock for his bag and notebook before rushing back to the merman again. "Ok, I'm going to lift you up now. My lab is just down at the end of the beach..." He stated softly before gently picking up the man when he was given the go ahead. "M-my name is (Side)..." Logan looked at the man and nodded slightly. "Pleasure to meet you (Side)... I hope you will cooperate with me and I can fix you very fast." He stated softly as he began to walk with the man in his arms to his home. Continue...

Merman Logan-
Logan is a merman, a tropical merman to be exact. He's has a clown fish tail and his light brow hair was halfway down his back due to not being able to cut it in the water. He was smaller than most mermaids and he was half blind but he could still see pretty far just not as far as most merpeople. He was fascinated with the humans though many had told him that they were dangerous but he still swum near shore to watch them. Once he got too close to the shore of a hidden beach and a human had seen him. "Hey!" Logan nearly jumped out of his scales as he looked up at the man. The man's face was wide with his brown hair wet and his clothes wet as well. "You're a mermaid!" "I'm a merMAN... Mermaids are the females..." The man gasped slightly as he got closer to the water. "Woah... I've always wanted to talk with a mermaid or well, merman! My name is (Side)!" Logan rose a brow slightly. "My name is Logan..." He mumbled softly which caused (Side) to smile. "Wow... Cool!" Logan blinked slightly as he stared at him. "Do you mind if I question you?!" Logan shook his head slightly. "No... I don't mind..." (Side) smiled slightly before sitting on the beach and began to ask questions in which Logan would answer in turn.
