(8a) A Tiny Adventure

*Dark's PoV*
Ren was hopping in front of all of us. Why is she so... What's the word... Unique... No that's not it, strange? No... Maybe I don't know the word? That's the only logical explanation. But she is definitely not cute. Light nudged me, I guess he noticed my staring. I glanced at him, annoyance written across the look. Light snickered.

"You totally like her." He teased in a whisper. My eyes rolled.

"I definitely do not." I grumbled quietly. Steven was speaking about the boring mine craft scenery. Dyrule and Hyrule have way better things to see. Like me. Trust me.

"Killer chickens!" Light whined, hiding behind me. He kept doing that every time he spotted one.

"They won't hurt you, Link." Herobrine reminded, obviously annoyed. I snarled at the sound of his voice. He is the most annoying person I know. More annoying than my twin. More annoying than Ren and Brenda. I really hate new people, but they're a blast to tease. I smirked at the thought. Speaking of teasing... Maybe I should screw with Ren again? Or maybe Brenda this time?

"But they will! Chickens are evil..." Light whined, he was clung to my arm. I glanced at him and huffed.

"He's right." I admitted relentlessly.

"They can't hurt you in Minecraft." Brenda informed, "unless the user downloads a mod. Which, I haven't." She shrugged.

"Mod?" Steve questioned.

"Downloaded modification to the game." Brenda said, moving as she spoke. She seemed to now what she was talking about. "It's a way to change things, make it more interesting."

"Ah." Steve nodded slightly. He was thinking about it, which was quite obvious from his posture and expression. "There's my house." He pointed to a fairly large building nearby. It was almost completely made up of wood.

"Wow..." Brenda gasped, I guess she was amazed by such a sight. It looked pretty worn down, though, plain as well. "Wait." She looked around, "has anyone seen Ren?" We all looked around. Where did that fool go now? "Dang it, Ren." Brenda sighed, hanging her head.

"I'll go find her." I offered with a huff.

"Alright, meet back at my house." Steve said, "and take this." I was handed a full map. I walked off, shoving it in my pouch of rubies.

"Ren?" I called, walking down the path we had been on. "Ren? Ren! Come into view damn it!" I yelled in annoyance. "Grrr..." I grumbled.

"Help!" I heard distantly; to my left. I hurriedly sped towards it. "I'm slipping..." Ren's voice whimpered. I couldn't see her, but there was a large hole in the ground... Well not a hole, I believe in Minecraft they call it... A ravine. I jogged over to it and looked side to side. Ren was hanging down a decent distance away. Then she slipped. I heard her yells of terror, but I think mine trumped hers as I dashed over and reached for her. I barely caught her wrist. She clutched to mine, I could feel her shaking.

"Hold on Ren." I strained to speak. I was trying to pull her up. Her hand was slowly slipping from mine. I held on tighter and fought to stay on the side and to pull her up. I slid forward slightly, then moved back forcefully. Her body came up with it. She extended her free hand and attempted for the side. Success.

"I know that." Ren grumbled, we were now both fighting it to get her to safety. I slid forwards slightly, which dragged her body down. Her hand slipped and she squealed. I winced with the amount of weight.

"Come on..." I growled quietly as I slowly stepped my feet backwards. My eyes were closed and faced to the sky. Then there was no weight really... And no hand. "Ren?!" I panicked, shooting my eyes open and looking down. I sighed at the view of her sprawled onto the ground. We were both panting.

"That was not fun." Ren stated taking pauses between each word. I started laughing as I fell back to a sitting position. I was in front of her. She lifted her head, clearly annoyed. I flashed a cocky smile.

"At least you didn't die." I replied, leaning back on one hand. She sat up and sighed.

"Yeah. Thank you, by the way. I guess." Ren mumbled awkwardly. She was glancing away and had a small blush. Her hand sat behind her neck.

"What was that~?" I teased, leaning towards her. She glanced over and had more red development. I grinned widely.

"I said thank you." She repeated. We were close together, well our faces were. I leaned closer; now centimeters from her cheek.

"Well I couldn't just let you die, now could I?" I replied in a low deep whisper. More red on her cheeks. How to tease her more?... Oh, I know! I pecked her cheek slyly. More red. I laughed triumphantly and stood. "Come on. Let's go." I faced away from her and started towards the path. I didn't hear footsteps behind me. I turned, Ren was still seated and staring at the ground. She looked frustrated. "You comin?"

"Yeah." She muttered, I almost didn't hear her. She stood and walked over, passing me quickly. She hadn't looked at me. I raised a brow and followed. Maybe I shouldn't have gone that far? I walked up behind her and started towards Steve's house. She was close behind.
"You're blushing, by the way." I felt her breath against my neck. Shivers ran down my spine as I glared back at her teasing face. She was beside me now, "there it is again!" She winked. My face heated more than it had. I grumbled as she giggled. "It's kinda cute~!" She teased me more. I crossed my arms and glared in another direction.

"Shut up..." I huffed. Why was I so embarrassed? Probably because I was getting teased for once. Yeah, that's it! That's the only explanation.

"Aww. C'mon, Dark. I was only teasing you!" Ren giggled, stepping in front of me and walking backwards. I glanced over; her hands were behind her head and she had a cocky grin on her face, a faint blush still visible. I gave in and faced her, after all, I had to see where I was walking. She grinned more. I rolled my eyes, smirking and dropping my hands.

"There they are!" Brenda gasped as we walked into view. Ren and I were shoving each other teasingly. I was glancing at her, a felt a smile on my face that wouldn't leave. Then she ran off and I snapped out of it. I looked at the reuniting females, my face growing blank.
"Where were you?!" Brenda huffed, placing her hands on Ren's shoulders.

"I almost fell into a ravine!" Ren giggled, grinning widely. Steven had walked over and frowned at hearing that.

"That could've been very serious." He commented, capturing attention from everyone. "If you die here; that's it. No returning home and no respawns. Only game characters can do that." Brenda frowned and Ren's grin dulled.

"Well I didn't fall, so that's a good thing!" She smiled, trying to be optimistic. My eyes rolled and I quietly scoffed.

"You're totally into her." Light teased into my ear. His breath also made me shiver and glare.

"No. I'm not. And what about Zelda?" I teased, smirking. Light fell back onto his feet from his tip-toes and glared. He was obviously blushing.

"Th-that's story line only!" Light whined.

"Nah, I know about you two. Don't deny it!" I winked. Light grumbled and walked off. I chuckled and looked towards where the girls were. They were missing. I raised a brow.

"Boo!" Ren and Brenda's voices echoed from both sides of my face. I jumped, my arms swinging back. They squeaked and ducked as I turned to face them. Then Ren started laughing.

"You were totally freaked out!" Ren laughed, pointing at me. Man her laugh- NO! She had the biggest grin and most amused look. "You should see your face!" I blushed in embarrassment. Brenda started laughing.

"You made him blush!" She giggled. I stepped back defensively. They were both still laughing and leaning on each other. The boys walked over curiously. I faced away once again grumbling and then entered the building.

The first room I saw was extravagant. A wool made couch, tables in front of it sat against the right wall. Paintings and pictures covered the walls. There were also 'fridges' that were made with buttons, iron, and dispensers. A bed was next to the couch, a shelve of similar looking books sat directly beside the door. The floor was carpeted and multiple colors. A single room connected to this one, I looked inside; a bathroom. I walked out and noticed a small tamed wolf. It's disgusting how much I know about this game... A small fireplace sat beside a dip in the ground where there was a staircase; cave. I sighed quietly and sat on the sofa, crossing my legs. When do I get to go back to my home? I closed my eyes and leaned back into the fairly comfortable cushions and sighed.

"Hello, Shadow." Herobrine greeted, sitting beside me. I opened an urge lazily and glanced over.

"Herobrine." I greeted, nodding and closing my eye.

"Why are you letting the human girl tease you so much?" He asked. I could hear the smirk in his voice. I rolled my eyes and sat up, opening them.

"Does it matter?" I huffed.

"To you; it seems it does." Herobrine chuckled.

"Go away, Herobrine." I muttered.

"Fine, fine." He teased, waving his hand and standing. He went into the bathroom. I rolled my eyes and stood. I walked out of the home; to the path.

"Where you goin, Dark?" Ren called sweetly. I glance back feeling my cheeks warm. Damn this female!

"Home." I shrugged, walking off. I wish I had pockets! I should ask Kelly for those... I heard two pairs of quick footsteps.

"Then I'm comin too." Ren grinned, peeking her head over my shoulder. "You guys can show me around!"

"Yeah sure!" Light agreed excitedly. My eyes flickered between their expectant faces.

"Fine." I sighed, hanging my head in defeat. Ren squealed and clapped her hands together. I guess this adventure just got longer.
