(video camera turns on in the dorm living room)

Lizzy: Hello friends! Today is Sunday and it's the afternoon. Why do I say that? Well, it's REALLY cloudy outside...and gray. Apparently, there's going to be a storm in the evening. Normally, I'd be okay with it but there's going to be thunder and lightning. I don't like that.

Jaden: She doesn't like the dark either. The last time there was a storm, she was clinging to all three of us in a blanket.

Lizzy: (sniffles) It was scary, ok?!

Yusei: Will you be okay for the rest of the day?

Lizzy: I don't know...I just hope that there are no blackouts this time.

Yugi: Hopefully!

Lizzy: Yeah...

(timeskip)

Lizzy: (takes a deep breath) It's later on in the evening and there is thunder and lightning, which means a potential blackout....I'm scared.

Yugi: Yami says to hang in there.

Lizzy: Well, why can't he come out and say that to me?

Yugi: He doesn't like thunder noises.

Lizzy: Me neither and I'm stuck here!

(thunder noises)

Lizzy: (yelps and hides under her blanket, dropping the camera)

Yusei: (picks it up and turns it to the blanket) This is Lizzy right now.

Lizzy: Don't make fun of me!!

Jaden: He's not making fun of you. He's just showing the audience your everyday life. This is part of it!

Lizzy: I know....

Yusei: (pats the blanket where Lizzy's head is at) You'll be fine. What could go wrong?

(lights go out)

Lizzy: (whimpers softly)

Yusei: Whoops...I jinxed it.

Jaden: Everything okay, Lizzy?

Lizzy: Nooooooooooo...

Yugi: Anyone have a flashlight?

Yusei: In my room but I can't get it. Lizzy's clinging to my leg.

Lizzy: You're the closest person that I can grab!

Yusei: Yeah, but not my leg!!!

Lizzy...Could you end the journal, please?

Yusei: Okay, okay. Thank you for watching and see you tomorrow where things will probably be better.

(turns video camera off)
