The plan was one of pure hope. They would use Thomas as bait to lure Teresa to a secluded area where he and Gally would take her back to the abandoned church they were currently staying at. Lizzie hoped that this would work because she wouldn't know what she would do if they couldn't save Minho. He means the world to her and she would be so lost without him.

Newt takes the bag off of Teresa once she was there and then goes back to his seat. Teresa looks at everyone with confusion and then looks at Gally when he places a chair in front her, sitting on it backwards. "Where's Minho?"

Teresa furrows her eyebrows, glancing around the room until her eyes land on Thomas. "Do you guys really think-"

"Don't look at him." Gally interrupts her. "Why are you looking at him? Look at me. He won't help you. Now, we know you have Minho in the building. Where?"

Lizzie sat up straighter when Teresa told them. She didn't think Teresa would actually tell them the truth. "He's with the others in holding. Sublevel three."

"How many others?" Newt asked her.

"28."

Brenda looks beside her at the table where Lizzie sat since she was planning to help her out.

When Lizzie nods, Brenda looks back at the others as she says, "We can make that work."

"No." Teresa shakes her head. "No, you guys don't understand. The whole level's restricted. You can't get in without a fingerprint ID."

"Why do you think we kidnapped you?" With her arms leaned on the table in front of her, Lizzie looks at Teresa with a sarcastic smile, shaking her head. "You're our way in, genius." Teresa looked at her with narrowed eyes, not a fan of her sarcasm.

Thomas rolls his eyes at Lizzie, ignoring her comment and looks at Teresa with crossed arms. "That's why you're gonna come with us."

"Well, I don't know. We don't necessarily need her." Gally stands up and goes over to the table Frypan was sitting on. He picks up a knife, turning to face Teresa. "All we need is her finger."

"Gally, back off." Thomas told him.

"What, are you squeamish?" Gally looks back at him. "I guarantee you she's done a lot worse to Minho."

"That's not the plan." Thomas stands up, taking the knife from him. "Back off."

"It won't make a difference." Teresa said. "Do whatever you want to me. You still won't get through the front door. The sensors will pick you up..."

"We know." Thomas nods. "We're tagged. Property of WCKD." He goes over to her and kneels beside her. "You're gonna help us with that, too."

After Teresa was sure she got the trackers off of everybody, they gathered up and started the next step of their plan to get Minho back.

Thomas and Newt were going to dress up as guards going to take Teresa back into WCKD and have her help them find Minho while Lizzie and Brenda got the 28 kids with the help of Frypan.

"Lizzie, Brenda, what's your status?" Lizzie heard Thomas speak from the walkie talkie she held. She and Brenda were currently at the maintenance terminal area entrance where they happened to jeep a lot of busses in front of it. They were hoping to try and successfully steal one.

"We're working on it." Lizzie replied while Brenda went around the bus they were hiding behind to make sure no guards were nearby.

"Copy." Thomas speaks. "Just make sure you guys are ready on your end."

"We will, Thomas." Lizzie tells him. "You guys be careful, okay?"

"Yeah. And don't worry, Liz, we're gonna get Minho back." Thomas reassured her which caused a small smile to tug on her lips. "Thank you, Thomas."

Once it was clear, Brenda made the motion for Lizzie to follow her and so she did. They eventually steal a bus and were now driving into the garage they were going to meet Gally and the kids at.

"Guys, where are you?" Gally asks. "We're here."

"Just arrived." Lizzie smiled and sighed in relief when she noticed Gally and the kids. Lizzie opened the window in front of her, telling the kids to get in. Gally ushered the kids to get in the bus, making sure no one was left behind.

"Wait, where's Thomas?" Brenda questioned when she didn't see Thomas and the others with Gally. Lizzie looked away from making sure the kids were alright and looked at Gally with wide eyes when she saw the boys weren't with him.

Gally looks at them with surprise. "I was hoping he was with you."

At hearing that, Lizzie went to step off the bus but Gally stops her. "Wait, stay here with Brenda and the kids."

"I'm going with you whether you like it or not." Lizzie looked at him with a stern expression and stepped off the bus.

Gally sighs, knowing there was no way he could convince her to stay back. He also didn't want to argue with her since he knew she would win. When Lizzie was determined about doing something she always did it no matter what it was.

"Okay, fine. Just stay close."

Gally puts his mask back down to cover his face as he looks back at Brenda. "We'll find him. Just wait for us, okay?"

"We're not going anywhere." Brenda responded, going back into the bus as Lizzie and Gally ran out of the garage.

On their way back to the WICKED building they found a WCKD security uniform that Lizzie could put on so she could blend in easily. She and Gally were now pretending to be security, aiming their guns at Thomas, Newt, and Minho. Lizzie was so relieved to see Minho alive and well. It took all of her will power not to run up and kiss him, or at least hug him right at this moment.

"You three, don't move." One of security guard demanded.

The three boys, soaking wet since they just got out of the pool they jumped into, looked at the guards with wide eyes.

"Oh, you gotta be kidding me." Thomas sighed.

Lizzie slowly moved forward, following what the other guards and Gally are doing so it seems like she's one of the guards.

"Take it easy." The same guard who spoke up before said.

Lizzie noticed Thomas moving to grab most likely a weapon from his pocket. "Uh-uh! Don't even think about it." The guard said to Thomas and Thomas stayed still. "Get on your knees with your hands in the air."

After seeing Gally shoot the guard next to him, Lizzie turns and shoots the guard behind her. Seeing this surprised the boys since they didn't think the security guards would shoot each other. She and Gally walk over to the scared looking boys while Gally takes his mask off.

"Gally?" Minho questioned, looking at him in disbelief.

Lizzie furrows her eyebrows together with confusion and then nodded, remembering that Minho didn't know Gally has been alive this whole time.

Gally nods at him. "Minho." He looks at the window the three just jumped out of and then looked at the boys. "You guys are nuts."

"Yeah, I agree." Lizzie commented, taking her mask off, surprising the there boys in front of her and Gally. They didn't expect her to be helping Gally.

A smile forms on Minho's lips while he looks at Lizzie. "Lizzie."

Lizzie didn't realize how much she missed hearing him say her name until that moment. And that was all it took for her to rush over to him and pull him in for a long and overdue kiss. Minho didn't hesitate to kiss her back, wrapping his arms around her to pull her closer. Ever since he was taken by WICKED he dreamed of being with Lizzie again and it was surreal that he was now actually with her.

"Sorry to ruin this beautiful moment," Gally speaks up. "But we kinda need to get out of here."

The couple pulled away as Thomas and Newt started to follow Gally. "I got a question. How is Gally alive?" Minho asked Lizzie.

Lizzie bites her lower lip. "It's a long story. I'll tell you later, okay?"

Minho nods. "Okay. I love you." He intertwined his hand with hers, wanting them to be as close as possible. He now just got back with her and he wasn't planning on leaving her anytime soon.

Lizzie felt her face get hot while she smiled widely at him. "I love you too." She pressed a quick kiss on his cheek before they were quick to follow the others.

The five of them were hiding from the helicopters and security that were searching the are most likely for them. She hid behind a cement block next to Gally and Thomas while Minho and Newt hid behind one that was in front of Lizzie, Gally, and Thomas.

"Well, they're definitely pissed." Gally noticed.

"Yeah, thanks Captain Obvious." Lizzie sarcastically commented.

"How far are the tunnels?" Thomas asked them.

"Uh, maybe 12 blocks from here." Gally replied, glancing at Lizzie to make sure and she nodded, thinking it was about the same.

Lizzie looks over at Newt when he starts coughing loudly. She frowned, noticing how pale he looks. Earlier she noticed black veins on his neck and she guessed that he was starting to turn into a Crank which scared and worried her.

Noticing Lizzie's and Thomas' concerned faces, Gally reassures them. "We can make it."

"Yeah, let's hope so 'cause Newt's life depends on it." Lizzie mumbled. She looks around, making sure no WCKD security was near by as she crouches down and moves over to where Newt and Minho are at.

"Newt, how are you feeling?" Minho questioned him, kneeling in front of him. The blonde haired boy was sweaty, and he now had black veins running up his face.

Newt chuckles a bit. "Eh, terrible." He puts a hand on Minho's shoulder. "It's good to see you though."

Minho puts a hand on Newt's hand and smiled. He then moved over to Gally and Thomas while Lizzie stayed with Newt.

"Newt, buddy," Lizzie got his attention, putting a hand on his shoulder. He breaths heavily as he looks at her and it hurts her to see how much pain he's in. She looks at him with a small smile. "we're gonna make it okay? So, just hang in there? Can you do that?"

"Yeah." Newt looks at her with a pained smile and then unzipped his jacket since he was getting too hot.

"We should get going." Thomas said, walking over to Lizzie and Newt. He looks at Newt. "Hey, Newt, we gotta get you up." He gets Newt up on his feet as Lizzie stands up and she helps makes sure Newt doesn't fall over when he stumbles a bit.

"You okay?" Thomas asked Newt, locking eyes with Lizzie. He sent her a thankful smile for helping him with Newt. Lizzie smiled at him, her silent way of telling it wasn't a problem.

Newt nods. "Yeah."

Seeing that Thomas could handle Newt on his own when they started moving, Lizzie glances back at Minho and Gally.

"Why you helping us, Gally?" Minho inquires. "I put a spear through your chest."

"Yeah." Gally nods and shrugs his shoulders. "Nobody's perfect, man."

He pats Minho on the shoulder before he gets up to go follow Thomas and Newt. Minho looks at him with narrowed eyes and Lizzie chuckles a bit as she walks over to him. "C'mon, let's go." She reached a hand down to him. Taking her hand, Minho smiled at her while he stood up.

At one point they stopped running when they heard and saw a loud explosion. Newt got so weak to the point where he had trouble standing on his own so Thomas and Minho had wrapped their arms around him.

"We're supposed to take down WICKED," Gally shakes his head. "Not a whole city."

Lizzie looks around with wide eyes when she hears an sirens blaring. She looked at Thomas when he spoke. "Gally, come on." He patted Gally's shoulder and started moving along with Minho and Lizzie followed them.

Lizzie looks back over her shoulder, seeing that Gally was still looking at what was left over from the explosion that just happened. "Gally, let's go." She got his attention and he finally moved to follow them.

A/N lizzie & minho finally got reunited yay! i can't believe i only have a few more chapters & then i'll be done writing this book.
