Liz was running, she had been running for a while, the men still chased her, she didn't know these men or what they wanted, she just wanted to run away and go home to her mother she was a 16 year old girl, she didn't want to be running from emotionless men, shooting at her. Liz was being chased by four men who were very persistent, these four were different from the last ones, they had different voices and they walked with heavier footsteps, that was until she fell in the hole.

   Liz hit the bottom with a thud, and cried out in pain. If they didn't know where she was, they definitely knew now, Liz cried as the four men walked up to the side of the hole and shined a light down. The first one spoke "hey guys my scanners say that the anomaly is in this hole here" then another one spoke "we know Donnie, time to take out the trash" the next one spoke "hold it Raph, we need to make sure that it's not a person" the first one "donnie" spoke again "it says human DNA is present in the blood i collected from some kind of fresh wound" and a clearly energetic one spoke next "i can't believe we stopped eating the new pizza for this goose chase bluhhh" Liz decided it was time to speak up "please, don't hurt me" , there was some rustling above and Liz was trying to stand up, but was too weak where the Krang had shot her side. Suddenly, one of the men hit the bottom of the pit and stood next to her, "wait, i'm so sorry i broke your container, but that's no reason to shoot me"  "what do you mean shoot you?"  "your group shot at me"  "ma'am, you must be mistaken, we don't own firearms" the man pulled out a flashlight "what are you guys? Like the men in black or something?" the energetic one spoke up again "you watch Will Smith?! That dude rocks!... I like this girl, she has good taste" the one in the hole with her clicked on the flashlight and pointed it at her.

   Leo was amazed, another one of them? But, how? what will i tell master splinter? thought Leonardo "why aren't you screaming or something? I'm a freak now" the girl was crying "because we're freaks too" Leo pointed the flashlight at his own face and showed her that she wasn't alone, the girl dried it up and looked at him "i think i'm gonna faint this is too much" Leo needed her awake to ask her some things "don't worry my brothers and I will..."  the girl fainted and would have fell on the ground if Leo hadn't caught her "wow she's really light" thought Leo as he picked her up and put her over his right shoulder  "Donnie!"  "yeah Leo?"  "give me your stick, and pull me up"  "kay boss"  Donnie lowered his bo-staff down for Leo to grab hold of and climb up the side of the wall. When he got to the top, he was met by three pairs of curious eye. Mikey was the first to react "wow! someone just like us!" Leo was ready "no, she has a tail, i think she's a lizard mutant" Raph was next "well she lloks like she needs new clothes, i really doubt she was wearing a cropped top or short-shorts before she was mutated"  "look Raph she's a mutant like us and needs our help"  "okay Leo what about a Sensei?"  "i'll talk to master Splinter about it okay? you won't get in trouble Raph, i promise" the four brothers began the walk back to their home in the sewers.

   "put her on the table!" shouted Donatello as they ran into the lair. "she's in critical-stable condition and we'll have to give her medical attention!" Donnie prepared all sorts of medical equipment "blood, scalpel, aloe" Leo was very worried "Raph, i need you to go and see if we have anything that fits her size better, these clothes are much too small for her now and are cutting off blood flow. "okay Leo, where should i check?"  "call April, tell her it's an emergency," Leonardo's attention was diverted "how's she doing Donnie?"  "not as bad as i thought, she just has a really nasty burn and a very high fever. I'll have to scan her later in order to better understand her biology,"  "that doesn't matter Donnie! Live or die, yes or no?"  "yes she will live," "oh thank goodness!" Master Splinter entered the room "Leonardo what is happening here?"  "Sense,i" Leo kneeled down "we found a mutant girl in the sewers who was attacked by the Krang,"  Splinter stroked his beard "is she hostile?"  "no master,"  "do whatever you have to and make sure she is comfortable, understand?" "yes master," 

   Liz woke up shaking back and forth "wake up, wake uhhhhhhp" Liz couldn't react "hey Leo, i think she's sleeping beauty and needs a kiss to wake her up" the orange masked turtle slowly leaned down over her, "nope nope no no no, no kiss today, i'm good i'm awake don't touch me please" Mikey smiled and let go of her arm "thank you very much" Liz looked at the one with the blue mask "what's going on? please explain," the blue masked one was the same one that had came down in the hole with her, and he looked at her "hot shower?"  "yesss please,"  "we have a friend who will bring you some of her clothes, and we'll see how those fit, do you have any preferences?"  "not really,"  "okay as long as you're not picky follow me," Liz stood up and followed Leo through the lair and towards Leo's room. Liz was curious as to why these turtles were being so nice to her "ummmm, what's your name?"  "my name is Leonardo,"  "like Leonardo DiCaprio?"  "no," Leonardo and Liz walked into Leo's room and walked into the bathroom. Liz stood for just a second, Leonardo gave her a slight push "go on I know it's not much, but it's all i've got okay?" Liz turned to face Leo "thank you but..."  "washcloths in the cabinet, robe on the towel rack,"  "okay but..." Leonardo closed the door and left her to stand by herself . Liz turned to see a sink and a pair of cloth scissors sitting on top of them, Liz grabbed the cloth scissors and cut the now undersized clothes off of her body and walked into the shower.

   Leo stood in his room and waited, he heard several sobs and was starting to regret leaving the scissors in the room in case she tried something. Leo had been moving items of his out of his room and getting his bed ready for someone else to sleep in. Leo was sitting on the bed with a small pile of clothes, when Liz walked out of the bathroom wearing the robe and looked at Leonardo, "here's some clothes, try them on and we'll talk in a little bit," Leo left the room again, without saying a word, he realized he was getting very good at this, as he was trying to get their guest to feel more comfortable around them. Leo wanted this strange girl to feel comfortable and welcome in their home, as it was the right thing to do.

   Liz looked at the clothes, a gray jacket, black, sleeveless cropped-top, and black yoga pants with a hole cut in them for her tail. Liz was happy with this new set of clothes, they were her new size, and they were comfortable. Then, something fell out of the pocket. Liz stooped to pick it up and found it to be a ponytail holder, Liz then walked back into the bathroom and put her hair up in a ponytail, and took a long look at herself in the mirror. She looked older than she had when she was still a human, she didn't know if this was good or bad, but she would need some outside opinion. Liz walked out of the room and saw Leo leaning on the wall sleeping, Liz walked over to Leo and tapped his shoulder. Leo woke up and looked at Liz for just a second Leo didn't know who he was looking at and blushed, Leo put a hand on Liz's shoulder and said "just go on to bed, we're all tired anyway," Liz watched Leo disappear down the hallway and decided to follow him. She watched Leo lie down on the couch and cover himself in a blanket, ouch thought Liz as she walked back to her room, she remembered everything that had happened to her, and how much she missed her mother, and she started to cry again. She cried while she changed into shorts and a t-shirt that had been given to her, and sat on the bed sobbing.

   Mikey was carrying a tub, and the contents were extremely valueable, he walked into the dark room that Liz was sleeping and said "hey girl, you know there's better ways to go about this,"   Liz looked up "like how?" Mikey handed her the quart of ice cream he was holding "the Ben and Jerry's way" Liz held the ice cream and was given a spoon by Mikey "thanks little dude" Mikey sat down beside her "if you don't mind i brought a spoon for myself to have a little bit of this luxury," Mikey handed Liz a spoon and took a few spoonfuls for himself and left her alone to enjoy a little piece-o-comfort.
