After the two watched Hailey and Blue left the house for their grocery shopping. That left the two alone in the house (again!).

There was a tension filled, awkward silence between the two. Red buried himself into his red turtle neck, feeling the familiar, but not welcomed feelings of anxiety, nervousness, fear, and endangerment.

This Papyrus wasn't the one he was used to, the one he ran away from, the one from his universe. This one, was different.

He was more like Red himself, lazy and such.

Papyrus finally disturbed the silence, "You alright Red?" He asked, noticing the smaller skeleton was giving off a strong nervous aura, trying to hide himself in his turtleneck and the sweat beads on his forehead.

Red nervously nodded his head, "Y-yeah I'm fine." He muttered and averted his gaze away from Papyrus.

Papyrus let out a sigh, wishing that Red would lighten up towards him, it made him think that Red was afraid of him.

"Hey, ya wanna watch some tv?" He hopefully suggested.

Red hesitated before quietly saying 'why not' and following Papyrus to the couch. He sat closer than early, which made Papyrus feel abit better.

"So, whatcha wanna watch?" Papyrus asked.

Red shrugged his shoulder, "I dunno." He muttered.

Papyrus felt disappointed that he was failing to get Red to talk to him, let alone look at him

Red noticed the silence begin to return, he didn't want to drown in it again, that was too exhausting dealing with his anxiety.

"S-since our universes are different, I guess that means our channels are different too." Red shyly stated, feeling his cheekbones flush red. He just put the spotlight on himself for 6 seconds, but God it was terrifying and the longest 6 seconds of his life.

Papyrus gently smiled at Red, "I guess you have a point there, you're smart there, Red." He commented.

Red tried to hide in his turtleneck again, "N-no I'm not. Anyone could realize that." He muttered in doubt.

'How the hell can Hailey deal with this guy? God he needs more confidence.' Papyrus thought to himself, feeling sympathetic for the shorter skeleton sitting beside him.

"What's making ya feel that? I mean some people don't get the whole other universe thing, like my bro doesn't and I'm sure your bro doesn't either." Papyrus explained.

"He doesn't even know about the other dimensions. Or... never mind." Red stopped himself from going on and looked away again from Papyrus.

Papyrus felt something off about that sentence, but shrugged it off and pulled Red onto him lap. Once Red felt something touch him, he began to panic. When he saw Papyrus give him a lazy smirk, he got all upset.

"Wh-what the hell?! What are you doing?!" Red yelled at Papyrus, attempting to squirm from his hold on him.

Papyrus just cradled him and hummed contently, "C'mon Red, chill, you're too anxious. You need to relax." Papyrus said calmly.

Red stopped and looked up at Papyrus, who was staring back. He felt his cheekbones heat up again, then he just avoided looking at Papyrus, by looking at his orange hoodie.

"K-kinda hard when someone's smothering you." Red mumbled.

Papyrus looked at him in confusion, "But you hang out with Hailey, she's like the cuddle master." Papyrus exclaimed.

Red chuckled, "Yeah she is, but it's different with her... she kinda worked her way to the trust zone. Now I-I guess that makes it different." He nervously stammered.

Papyrus half smiled at that, maybe there was more to the two than he thought, like, almost siblings?

Suddenly, a quiet yawn escaped from Red's mouth, he quickly covered his mouth with his hand in embarrassment.

Papyrus chuckled at Red's actions, "You tired?" He asked, failing to hide his grin.

Red frowned, "Shut up." He grumbled.

"Don't worry, I was planning on taking a nap too." Papyrus stated, lazily.

Red suddenly felt his eyes grow heavy, what was the point of fighting it? Papyrus would just be asleep and he'd be stuck on his lap.

Before he knew it, Red was out like a light. Papyrus' smile grew gentle, at the sight of the sleeping skeleton. As much as he hated to admit it, Red looked kinda cute when he was asleep.

Soon, Papyrus followed Red's actions of falling asleep, his head hung back against the couch.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY HAD MORE INGREDIENTS FOR TACOS!" Blue exclaimed happily, carrying three filled, grocery bags in each hand.

Hailey giggled, "Yeah, I'm surprised no one asked me why I was only buying mustard." She only held three filled, grocery bags in each hand.

Once approaching the house, Hailey opened the door to see Papyrus sitting on the couch and Red on his lap, both fast asleep.

When Blue saw the two, he didn't yell at Papyrus for being lazy, he just started in awe and got all excited about it with Hailey.
