We made it off the plane safely and we are currently at home. The flight was ok, nothing bad happened which is good.

I'm currently in my room lying on my bed, it was 2 pm when we arrived here in Canada but it's now 3:30 pm. I'm exhausted from the long plane ride, I barely slept since I didn't feel sleepy at all. I'm contemplating whether I should take a nap or do something productive. It would be best to do some work and get it done, but it would also be good to relax and clear my mind.

As I lay there thinking, I get a phone call. I sit up and grab my phone off my nightstand. I read the caller ID and it says 'Tita Rachel' (Tita=Aunty), Tita Rachel is Vee's mom. I answer the call and put my phone up to my ear.

"Hello? Zoey?"

"Hi, tita!"

"Ohh hi dear! How are you?"

"I'm good tita, and you?"

"I'm doing great as well. We haven't talked in a while, have you been busy?"

"Yeah I have, actually I've just come back from a trip."

"Ohh that's nice, I'm glad you're doing well!"

"So am I hehe. Why did you call?"

"Ohh right, well I just wanted to let you know that the doctors are saying that Vee's condition is doing better."

"Ohh really?! That's great!"

"Yeah, it is! And I was wondering if you wanted to come to visit here at the hospital today, y'know just to come to see her and so we can catch up."

"Umm, well I'm not busy so j guess I can visit."

"Alright, see you then! Bye dear!"

"Bye!" I end the call and I jump up to go get changed.

I run to my closet and choose something warm yet comfortable to wear. I might as well wear leggings and an oversized sweater dress, as well as my ugg boots. I also fix my hair and my makeup, and I grab my bag.

I walk out of my room to go find Caro. "Caro? Where are you?" I say as I walk down the stairs.

"I'm in the kitchen!" She yells back and I run down to the kitchen.

She's cooking up some food. "What are you cooking?" I look over her shoulder to see what's in the pan.

"I'm making some fettuccine alfredo. Where are you going?" She looks at my outfit.

"Ohh I'm going to go see Vee and her mom."

"Oh okay, are you gonna eat dinner here?"

"I'm not sure, I might take long but ill call you later."

"Okay then, here why don't you take some fettuccine with you. Give it to tita Rachel."

I nod my head as Caro puts some into a container. "Make sure to keep it warm." She hands it to me in a plastic bag.

"Okay, well I'll get going now. Bye!" I walk to the door and slip on my boots.

"Stay safe! Drive safely! And don't be too late!"

"Okay!" I open the door to the garage and I walk to my car.

I hop into the driver's seat and start opening the garage door. I place my purse and the fettuccine in the passenger's seat. Then I drive off.

I drive into the hospital parking lot and I park in a spot near the entrance. Sadly it's much colder here in Canada than it is in Korea, but I'm not surprised.

I hope out of my car and I walk to the entrance. I walk to the front desk and I tell them that I'm here for Vee, but they already know that since I used to come here all the time.

I walk to the elevator to go to the 34th floor which is where Vee is. Once I make it to the 34th floor, I walk to Vee's door. I knock a few times and then I open the door.

I see Vee's mom sitting in a chair by Vee's bed. "Hi tita!" She greets me back and comes to hug me.

I give her a big hug and then I give her the fettuccine. "Here, Caro made this and told me to give you some."

"Thank you! Vee would love this." We walk over to the chair beside Vee and I sit down. "I'll give you two some alone time, I'll be back later."

"Okay." She pats my back before walking out.

When she closes the door I look at Vee, I grab her hand and squeeze it.

"Hi Vee! I heard your doing better, that's really good news! Sorry, I haven't been able to visit lately, I've just been very busy. Ohh and I went to Korea I just came back today. And guess what! I got to stay with BTS." I ended up telling her the whole story of me getting to stay with BTS.

"Ohh and guess what! We are going to perform at the GMAS! In so excited! But sadly you can join us, it would've been your dream come true to be able to perform on such a big stage. But maybe you can still listen while we are performing, it's going to play live on tv! But you know... I'm kinda nervous. Actually no, I'm nervous. I'm kinda scared cuz what if people judge us, and they might say bad things about us. And I'm nervous since a bunch of people will be watching us. And what if I make a mistake... Ohh I don't even know anymore. I'm just really nervous about it."

I talked to Vee a bit more before Vee's mom came in. "Hi, I'm back." She closed the door behind her and walks over to us. She takes a seat on the chair across from me, on the other side of Vee. "Anything juicy lately?"

I chuckle. "Well nothing much, but we were invited to perform at the GMAS."

"You mean the one that Vee really wanted to perform at?" I nod and she claps her hands. "That's amazing! Congrats!"

"Thank you! But it's just kinda sad since Vee won't be able to perform with us."

She frowns and looks at her daughter. "Yeah it is, but I bet that she's really proud of what you've achieved. And she's probably really happy!" I stay silent as I look at my best friend whose just lying there.

I continue to talk with Vee's mom for a bit before we decided to have dinner at a local restaurant.

"Vee, we're leaving now. I'll come back to visit you whenever I'm free. I love you so much!" I kiss her head and Vee's mom does the same. We leave her room and we head down.

We walk to the entrance of the hospital. "We'll have to take separate cars to get there since I brought my own, I'll just meet you there." Vee's mom says as we walk out of the hospital.

"Okay, I'll see your there." I want to my car and I get in.

Vee was born on July 5, 1998. In Edmonton AB, Canada. We met each other when we were in kindergarten, and ever since we've been best friends.

We went to the same schools in elementary and high school. But I didn't go to college which is why we were apart at the time.

She is really compassionate about dancing, she loved dancing in front of a big group of people. She also loved art, she could draw anything and make it look realistic. This is what made us love each other, we both like similar things.

She looks really intimidating but in reality, she's the kindest person you will ever meet.

Her dream was to be a vet, she wanted to help all sorts of animals. And she had a pet bird but sadly it died because it was growing old.

I miss being around her, but hopefully, she will be back soon.

*Present time*

Vee's mom and I made it to the restaurant at the same time. We were seated at a table near the back of the restaurant and given menus. The place we are at is a steakhouse, one of Vee's favourite places to eat.

I went for a medium-rare steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, some carbonara pasta and a caesar salad as an appetizer.

Vee's mon got a medium-rare steak with baked potato and some fries.

We talked about random things as we are, just lightly catching up on the things we missed about each other.

We also ordered some triple chocolate cake for dessert.

We talked and talked for a while before we parted ways. I watched as Vee's mom pulled out of the parking lot before I hopped into my car. The time was 7 pm.

I started the car and I got a phone call, it was Jungkook calling me. The call was directed to the blue tooth on my car, so I hit answer and his voice boomed through my car.

"Hello?"

"Hi Jungkook!" I started backing out of the parking lot.

"Are you driving right now?"

"Yeah, I am actually."

"Ohh sorry, I'll call you when you're not driving."

"No no, it's ok. We can talk while we drive it's not a problem."

"Are you sure?"

I chuckle. "Yeah, it's fine."

"Okay, where are you going?"

"I'm heading home, I just got back from having dinner after I went to the hospital."

"THE HOSPITAL?! Are you sick? Are you hurt? Are you okay?!" I start laughing, he's really concerned. "Why are you laughing?" And now he's confused.

"I'm fine, it wasn't me who's in the hospital. It's my friend Vivian."

"Ohh thank God your okay. I hope your friend is doing good." I hear him let out a breath.

"Well I mean if you call being in a coma 'doing good' then..."

"Ohh, I'm sorry to hear that..." We stay silent for a bit. Then he cleared his throat and talked again. "Uhmm, anyway I was just calling to see if you got back fine."

"Yeah we got back fine, surprisingly I'm not as tired as I expected myself to be."

I hear him chuckle. "Well I mean, you are a fireball of energy. It's as if you never run out of energy."

I laugh. "I guess you could say that."

"Ohh yea, I mostly called to inform you that our covers will be up tomorrow, I'll send you the one for your channel right now."

"Ohh that's soo cool! I totally forgot that we hadn't posted those yet."

"I did too haha."

"Ohh don't you have practice today?"

"Yeah we do, actually we gotta start again too. Don't you guys need to practice too?"

"Yeah, we're gonna start tomorrow. That reminds me, I need to sleep early tonight so I can wake up early tomorrow."

"Good luck with your practice, I'm looking forward to seeing you guys perform."

"I'm looking forward to your performance too."

"Yeah, I'm exc- ohh yes I'm coming hold on! Zoey I have to go now, I'll call you tomorrow okay?"

"Okay."

"Bye!"

"Bye Jungkook!" And he ends the call.

Well, tomorrow's gonna be a busy day for us and I hope everything goes well.
