Winter's P.O.V

"Good morning girls." Emmaree chirped as she cracked and egg into the pan. I smiled and smelt the food. It smelt amazing!

Amanda sat on the stool and laid her head down. "My gosh, i didnt get any sleep." Amanda yawned and i sat down next to her with a frown.

"Why?" I asked, suspicious. Amanda rose an eyebrow and looked at me. "Do you even know what you do while you sleep? Its like your trying to push me off the bed!" Amanda groaned and yawned again. I chuckled.

"Sorry, i wasnt sleeping well." I said with a little frown and Amanda laughed.

"Thats the last time i am ever sleeping with you again, Winter Monroe." Amanda said and i whined at the sound if my full name. "Amanda, you know i dont like my full name said." I whined again and Amanda rolled her eyes.

"Thats what you get for kicking me last night." Amanda said and now it was my turn to roll my eyes.

I looked around the room and notice Alec was sleeping on the couch in the lounge room. I frowned and turned to Emmaree. "Emmaree, why is Alec sleeping on the couch?" I asked and she turned around and frowned at the sight of her grandson sleeping in an uncomfortable position on the lounge.

"I really dont know? He seemed angry...probably didnt want to go up stairs to his room." Emmaree guessed and i shrugged then turned to Amanda.

"Hey Manda, can Alec come shopping with us today?" I asked and she sat up striaght and eyed me carefully like i was up to something.

"Why?" Amanda asked as she narrowed her eyes at me some more. I shrugged.

"I thought it would be nice for Alec to join in on the amazing day that is ahead of us today." I smiled and Amanda looked at Alec then at me and sighed.

"Fineee." She groaned and i hugged her and thanked her too. I stood up and went over to Alec who was sleeping like a baby. I smiled.

"Alec!" I whispered softly and shook his body trying wake him up.

"Your not gonna wake him up like that." I looked up to ses the owner of the voice to see Hayden yawning. His bed hair was sticking out everywhere as he rubbed his eyes, trying to get the sleep out of them. He was wearing sweatpants and a white singlet that showed off his tanned arms. I furrowed my brows but chuckled.

"The dont stand there, wake him up." I said and he glared at me in a playful way as he bend down next to me. Then out of no where, Hayden grabbed Alec's arms and pulled him off the couch making me jump in shock.

Alec shook his head and opened his eyes. I was still looking at Hayden in horror.

'What is wrong with you!' I wanted to say but at least he woke Alec up...wait? I am on Hayden's side of this! No!

"Who...what...w-why?" Alec mumbled as he stood up and rubbed his eyes. I looked at Alec smiled.

"I want to ask you if you want to come to the mall with me and Amanda?" I said with a smile still plastered on my face. He looked at me and frowned.

"Wouldnt that make things weird?" Alec replied in his tired tone. I furrowed my brows and tilted my head.

"How would that make things wierd?" I asked and Alec waved me off.

"Dont worry, ill come." I smiled and hugged Alec. "Thank you Alec."

"Oh my god!" Amanda squealed and i closed my eyes at how loud she was. She was right next to me, picking out some clothes and all of a sudden, she screamed making me think if she is trying to make me deaf!

"Wouldn't this look amazing on me?" Amanda smiled dreamily as she held the dress to her chest and spun around. I rolled my eyes and muttered, "Sure."

I was currently standing here for 1 hour, waiting for Amanda to pick some clothes do buy. Now i know the feeling of when boys have to wait for a girl to get ready. I was in their shoes and now i really couldnt blame them! Amanda was only suppose to pick a few clothes then get outta here but she is taking forever choosing whether or not to buy the dress she has been holding for half an hour.

I noticed a person coming towards us. I sighed once i saw Alec with two frozen cokes. I took it and thanked him.

All this waiting was making me bored out of my brain! I just want her to be finished.

"Amanda, just please pick some-"

"Well, look who it is?" I turned around to see who this familiar voice was coming from and much to my suprise, i gasped then ran to the person.

"Emmaree! Oh my gosh you have saved me! Honestly! Thank you so much!" I said like i was stuck in a jail cell for a whole night. Emmaree laughed and looked over my shoulder to see Amanda still deciding to buy her dress. She patted my shoulder and smiled. "Its okay. I've got this. You and Alec can go do what ever you want while i help Amanda make her decision a little less harder." I turned to Alec and he was smirking.

Oh no.

"Okay, thanks Grandma." Alec chirped happily then grabbed my hand as we started to run out of the store.

Sam's P.O.V

"Why are we even here?" I mumbled as i followed Hayden and Cole around the mall. I had plans today and i wasnt going to waste it with these two doing what ever they were planning to do.

"Well if you listened to me before..." I stopped listening and decided to put my earphones in. This was pissing me off. I never really liked when Cole talked cause ne would usually go on and on about it until you finally uderstood what he was saying. And right now, i didnt even want to uderstand whatever was coming out of his mouth.

"Your not even paying attention!" I heard Cole groan and i looked up at him and smirked, taking an earphone out of my ear. "That was the whole point genius." Cole just turned around and kept walking. Hayden didnt even care what was going on since he just kept walking around each store like a lost puppy.

I took this time to turn around and make my way to the pub. I know it was too early to drink but i wanted to relax. Get my mind off things.

Speaking of that, i couldnt even get Winter out of my head! The fact that she is ignoring me still pissed me off. Winter was the innocent type, yeah but i didnt know she ignored people...especially me!

'Maybe you dont even get the chance to know her. Your too busy minding about your own life!"

'What the fuck! Who are you to even-'

'Wow, now your arguing with your head. You've gone nuts.'

I gritted my teeth together and breathed out through my nose. Now my brain is pissing me off! This is ridiculous, i just want to know why she is ignoring me. Like, i don't even no what i did? I thought everything was going fine.

I looked down at the ground and closed my eyes. I just need to forget about her.

I decided to make my way down to the arcade. Ill take my anger out on those stupid games in there.

Winter's P.O.V

"Why are we here?" I asked Alec as we walked into the arcade. He looked at me and grinned. "Well, Emmaree said we could do anything we wanted and i dont know about you but i wanna kick your ass at basketball." He smirked. I rolled my eyes playfully and took a sip of my drink before opening my mouth to speak.

"Really? Out of everything in this mall, you had to choose this?" I grinned. I didnt have a problem with this place but at home it brang a lot of memories back while i was a kid.

"What can i say? I am still a kid." Alec said and then walked to the counter and took out his wallet. I took a sip of my drink then decided to walk around the place to see what it had to offer.

It had those motorbike things where you sit on the motorbike and race the others on the screen and there was another one like that but a car one. There was a dance floor with the arrows and a screen in front. I thought of it like guitar hero but just with arrows and better music. There was also some spinning things where you pull the lever and you can get more tickets for spending them at the end to buy something. There were also some little things that were for little kids so they didnt feel left out. Then i saw that basketball thing that Alec was taking about. I grinned.

He doesnt know that i used to play basketball...hopefully my skills haven't disappeared.

"Ready?" I jumped when a voice whispered in my ear. I turned around, still terrified and looked at Alec who was chuckling at my reaction. "Wow, you really are easy to scare." I smacked Alec's arm as we made our way to the basketball game.

Alec scanned the card in the slot thing and did it for mine so we versed each other at the same time. The balls instantly started rolling down to where i could reach them and i started to pick them up and shoot them in the hoop that was only a metre or two away.

I missed a couple but honestly i think i was doing good. I havent seen Alec's score but I had to keep focusing on my game.

Then i noticed i had 5 seconds left and i started to just speed up the pace and throw the balls at the hoop so quickly you thought i was insane. Then the beeping went off and i looked at my score and clapped with joy.

Wait...

I looked at Alec's and my jaw dropped. "Oh come on!" I whined as i noticed i was only behind Alec by one point. Alec started clapping and smirked at me. "Told ya, i would kick your ass."

"Oh get over youself! You beat me by one point!" I defended. Alec just laughed and i rolled my eyes and grabbed his arm and took him to one of my favourite games in the arcade.

Its on, Alec Anderson!

Sam's P.O.V

I walked down the stairs that led to the arcade and walked in. I wouldnt say the place was crowded but it was enough for the people to get a good pay. I walked around and saw little kids begging their moms for money or little kids crying cause they didnt win or get what they wanted from the tou grabbing machine.

Then i saw the girl i never thought of seeing so happy. She was with Alec as they versed each other on that dance arrow game. The song playing was Crooked Smile.

I looked at the scene that was occuring in front of my very own eyes. Winter looked so happy as she laughed and moved her feet on the arrow that told her to step on. She was looking like she was drunk, by the way she moved onto the arrows so quickly. Her laugh was something thats for sure. I haven't heard her laugh like that when i was with her. She looked like she was having fun, the time of her life infact! I wanted to stay and watch but i didnt know why i wanted to go so bad?

Maybe it was because she was happy spending time with my brother?

The fact she has been ignoring me and now seeing her so happy?

I dont know the real reason but all i knew was that Winter was something different and that made me want to spend time with her...badly.

Hey people! This has been my third update now today and honestly, im impressed with myself! I haven't updated this much since when i first started this book!
