Marinette's POV

It's been a 2 weeks since the reveal.
Adrien was right. They were shocked but they didn't turn their back against me. Once the interview was over, my modeling pictures became public. Not Ladybug, but Marinette. I modeled by myself, with Adrien, Blake, a girl named Darcy and lots lots more. I enjoyed modeling, even if it means I have to go on that strict diet and do a lot of extra curricular activities.

Although I enjoy modeling, I know Adrien doesn't. He never wanted to be a model. He doesn't like smiling for the camera or wearing clothing that his father wants him to model. He said that he wanted to be a doctor when he was younger. He wanted to try and save people, because when he was younger, he thought his mom died of an illness. Even now, even though she didn't die, he still seems to want to be a doctor and help people.

I smiled, knowing he would make the best doctor. I started to imagine Adrien in a doctor uniform helping others.

" Marinette, what's making you smile like that?" Someone said.

" Adrien..." I sighed without thinking. I then regained my conscience to notice that Adrien was the on who asked me that. I looked from the corner of my eye and low and behold. Adrien was sitting right next to me. I felt my face heat up in embarrassment.

" Adrien makes you smile like that? Is this perhaps the Adrien Agreste your talking about?" Adrien asked me devilishly smirking. All I could   think was how good he looked with it on. I just want to wipe that stupid smirk of his perfect face. My cheeks were probably turning red.

" Hi Adrien. Didn't see you there. ado you remember who we're going to model with today is?" I said nervously, trying to change the subject. Adrien chuckled.

" You didn't answer my question Mari." He said flirtatiously. Fine then if you badly want to know, okay.

" Yes I did mean the Adrien Agreste. His smile is just so contagious, you can't help but smile. I was also wondering what he would look like as a doctor. Helping his patients ,wearing a doctor coat." I said while turning towards Adrien. His face turned pink. When our eyes connected, I got lost in his eyes.

" I love you..." I said unconsiously, barely above a whisper. Adrien smiled at me. His real smile.

"I love you too." He said loud enough for me to hear him. I smiled.

" Well that's a pleasant surprise." I said giggling. He gave me a bright smile. I leaned closer to him and was about to give him a kiss on the cheek, when Adrien moved suddenly, making my lips touch his instead. We quickly pulled away, both of us were bright red.

'His lips are soft' I thought. I bit my bottom lip.

" Can I kiss you Mari?" Adrien said, stating at my lips. I nodded staring at his lips. We both slowly leaned in and finally are lips were connected. First it was just a peck, but then it slowly turned to kissing. He held my cheek gently in his hand. I wrapped my hands around his neck. Suddenly I felt his tounge glide over my bottom lip asking for entrance which I was about to give him when-

Knock

We were interrupted.

" Adrien, Marinette, Mr. Agreste wants to see you two." Nathalie says. She looked up and saw the position we were in. Both of us immediately moved away from each other. Nathalie's face morphed in annoyance.

Nathalie's POV

Dang it! I interrupted them! Noooo! Ughh! It was either my ship or helping Gabriel!!! Why do I have to like him?! He's never going to like me...

"Yes Nathalie, we'll be right there." Adrien said. He pouted in annoyance.

" Okay then we will wait for you two at your father's office." I said closing the door and rapidly walking to Gabriel's office. I knocked on the door and heard a 'come in' from the other side.

" Mr. Agreste, Adr-"

" What have I told you Nathalie? Call me Gabriel. If I have to say it again, I'll make it an order." Gabriel said jokingly, yet sternly.

" Yes Gabriel...Oh! Gabriel, Adrien is on his way right as we speak-"

" Father you wanted to speak with us?" Adrien said from the door without knocking. I turned to look at Gabriel to see that he was a little annoyed that Adrien didn't knock.

" Yes, I did want to talk to you both. Marinette has gained the attention of a very famous music label company. At the interview where Marinette has revealed herself, someone recorded her singing an original song. They posted it on social media and it went viral. The company that is interested in her is called Black Magic Records. They want to sign Marinette into their record label." Gabriel said. Black Magic Record?!?! They're famous into making an artist famous in just a month.

" I'm sorry Mr. Agreste, but I have my schedule filled with extra curricular activivties. I'm going to have to decline to their offer." Marinette said.

" I can help with the extra curricular activities. Mlle. Marinette, let me tell you who the owners of Black Magic Records are. Their names are Esmé Juliard and Baron Juliard. They're not only the owners of BMR, they are also known for owning famous Art exhibitions, museums, famous salons, and last but not least, famous clothing brands and stores all around the world. They are one of the most rich people in the world. It would benefit the both of us Mlle. Marinette. It would help you gain more publicity as a model and it will help my company by being associated  with such powerful people like them." Gabriel said. I let out a loud sigh. Gabriel was trying to connect with powerful people to enhance is already famous clothing brand and this is a good chance for him to do just that.

" Father! Can you stop using people to benefit you?! Marinette is already modeling for you, as well as being number one on all the extra curricular activities you've given her. Can you let her take a break?" Adrien said, defending Marinette, while yelling at Gabriel in the process. I got slightly annoyed by this.

I know that Gabriel is just trying to be more successful. He devoted his life into his dream once SHE just left him and Adrien. He cares a lot about Adrien, but Adrien only remember's Gabriel of HER. He was heartbroken and became a some what cold hearted person, but he isn't a monster. He does cry a lot at night. He specifically made his room sound proof to block out his screaming and sobbing. He didn't want to worry Adrien, his son. I'm the only one who can tell that Gabriel is suffering through severe depression. He used to be such a ball of sunshine when we first met in high school. Just to see his own son yelling at him hurts me and I know it's affecting Gabriel big time.

" Adrien, it's okay. I was the one who asked Mr. Agreste for the extra curricular activities. Mr. Agreste? I'll only say yes to their offer if they are located in Paris." Marinette said. I frowned at this. Marinette is only going to tire herself out. She won't have time for friends or Adrien. She needs to take a break.

" Mr- Gabriel!" I said abruptly, almost calling him Mr. Agreste. He turned towards me with a familiar smile. What a beautiful smile...No time to swoon Nathalie!

" I think you should let Marinette rest for a bit before she makes a decision. She also needs to focus on her studies. She won't have enough time to do her homework if she becomes a superstar and celebrity. She also won't have any privacy left. Please just let her rest before she can make her final decision." I said, while looking at Gabriel. He looked stunned and cleared his throat.

" Alright. Marinette, before you make your final decision, why don't you just rest for a few weeks. You've been quite busy, right? Why don't you and Adrien go hang out. Go to the movies or go to the pool and swim for awhile? Adrien, I wanted to tell you that..."He stopped for a few seconds. He looked at me and I nodded and smiled.

'You can do this Gabriel!' I cheered in my head. He gave me a small smile and a nod back.

" I wanted to tell you...that I'm very proud of you son." Gabriel said looking directly at Adrien. I looked at Adrien to notice that he was shocked and had tears almost spilling out of his eyes. Marinette had a smile on her lips while looking at Adrien.

" Is this real?" Adrien said quietly to Marinette. Marinette nodded her head and her smile widened. He then let out a long sigh.

" You don't know how long I waited to hear you say that Dad!" Adrien said while getting off his chair and around his desk, to hug Gabriel. I couldn't help but tear up at the scene. Gabriel was tense at first. He eventually hugged Adrien back. Then Adrien pulled back from him stepped away and started to run up to me. I didn't know if should run or stay still. All of a sudden I'm tightly wrapped in a hug.

" Thank you Nathalie! I know you are the one who gave my dad some advice. Thanknyou for being there for me and my father ever since that incident happened." Adrien said while sobbing. I hesitantly hugged him back.

" It was no problem at all." I said. He pulled away and gave a bright smile that was inherited by his father. I looked up to see Gabriel and Marinette staring at us with such a warm eyes. I slightly blushed once I met Gabriel's eyes with mine. He suddenly turned his head away and I smiled. It reminded me of when we were in high school.

" Okay, well anyways...You guys can go and relax. You both worked so hard so you deserve to relax. I'm gonna speak to Nathalie for a bit. You guys can leave now." Gabriel said. They nodded with a smile on both their faces and  left, closing the door behind them. We waited for their footsteps to fade away, before continuing our next conversation.

" Nathalie, I did it! I finally told my son that I'm proud of him!" Gabriel screamed like a little kid finally accomplishing a simple task.

' So cute!' I thought.

" Yes you did Gabriel, yes you did." I said happily, while staring at this middle aged man dance around in happiness. A wide smile spread on my lips.

' Just like when we were in high school' I thought.
