Christmas special

Hey guys! Christmas special is here! Just a bit of a FYI, but I'm doing this completely improvised as I couldn't come up with a plot beforehand. So if it's bad, or just not to your standards, I'm sorry. Anyway, let's see how this goes ^w^

Andy's POV~

I stared outside of my window as I continued to watch the snow fall to the ground. To say it was a beautiful sight was an understatement. It's beyond beautiful. I've always liked Winter and snow. I mean, I'm not too fond of the cold, but there's always hot cocoa, blankets, or-

"ANDYYYYYYY!!!" I was interrupted by the shout of a very familiar voice as well as being tackled onto the couch by the spirit of the river. Or as you all know him, Aberforth.

His tail wagged greatly as he nuzzled into me, holding me close to his chest with a large grin on his face. From the corner of my eye, I could see the other spirits. Anvindr had an irritated look on his face. The others just watched with a slightly annoyed look, which failed to measure the same amount of annoyance as Anvindr.

Anvindr soon came over to the river spirit and pulled him away before picking me up and setting me down on his lap. There, he gently held me close and lightly nuzzles my cheek with his. The others took part in the cuddling as well.

"What the heck was that for?! He's my destined too you know!" Aberforth said with a hint of anger towards the wind spirit.

"You need to be gentle with him! Even if he is our destined, he's still fragile! You shouldn't be so rough with him!" Anvindr said as he lightly tightened his grip on my waist.

"Says the one who just tightened their grip! You're just jealous that Andy loves me even more at this time of year! I know he loves winter, and I'll cause a blizzard for him if needed!" Aberforth said with confidence.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that. It's only snowing because I was a bit upset it wasn't. Christmas is here soon, and there's not much snow. In my eyes, Christmas is not complete if there's no snow on the ground.

"Yeah?! Well I can make the winds blow harder than you can since all you can do is make it snow or rain! Have fun causing a blizzard without the wind!" Anvindr got up from the couch, leaving me there as he went over to Aberforth and they started their argument. I seriously question why these two argue so much. Vernon got up and tried to settle things between the two.

Phoenix and Sirius both sat beside me on both sides and held me close to them.

"Idiots." Sirius said as he held me close.

"Agreed." Phoenix replied to Sirius.

We continued to relax as Vernon tried his best to settle the argument between Anvindr and Aberforth. I was about to yell at the two to keep quiet since their arguing was getting annoying. However, they were shut up as my front door opened with the sound of Tyler and Furaih coming in.

"We have gifts, snacks, and food! Let's enjoy the holiday!" Tyler said happily as he brought in a load of things. Furaih and him made a couple of trips. And that's just on presents alone. Furaih was surprisingly good at carrying the gifts.

Furaih's clothing was very different from what we usually see. He's usually wearing some Japanese style clothing, but he's now wearing what almost looks like a Santa suit. Only without the hat and the jacket being a button up. And the top few buttons being unbuttoned to leave his chest slightly exposed.

Furaih came into the living room and looked around.

"Wow, isn't this a bit of a sad sight. Not a single stocking, garland, or anything Christmas like in here. Not even a Christmas tree."

I didn't really have time to decorate since my time has been mostly spent on my studies and sleeping since I started working. It then came to me about why Furaih was so pumped up about Christmas anyway. So I decided to ask.

(Christian talk. If you don't like the idea of hearing your beliefs being claimed as false, I suggest you don't read these next few paragraphs. Remember that these aren't my official thoughts, just ideas made for the story)

"Why are you so interested? I mean, Christmas is meant to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. If he didn't exist, nor does a God, then why are you so happy about it?" Furaih chuckled at my question before pulling me over to the couch and sitting next to me as he explained himself.

"You see, even if there isn't a 'God' or a 'Jesus' that doesn't mean I shouldn't appreciate what you humans believe. Plus, if they wanted to be technical about it, I would be that 'God' they refer to. And Jesus is the son of God, so that'd make practically any of the spirits a form of 'Jesus.' So I see it as a day to celebrate the spirits I have given life to." I nod my head in understanding. So it'd be like saying it's the Spirit's birthday then. Only it's not.

Furaih then stood up from his spot and looked around.

"Still, this atmosphere is not suitable for a holiday, so I request the help of the nature spirits. Except for Snowman and Windy. They did their part already for making the weather outside the way it is."

Anvindr and Aberforth nod and say on both sides of me, holding me close to them as Phoenix, Vernon, and Sirius stood in front of Furaih, ready for their orders.

"To start off, Vernon. Make an evergreen. Tall, but not too tall. And make some brush garlands while you're at it." Vernon nodded his head as the green aura around him became evident. Soon, he summoned a tree in his hands. A pine tree with dark pines and some small pinecones on it.

Out of nowhere, Furaih created a pot that was big enough for the tree. They put the tree inside the said pot and Furaih added some store bought soil. My guess is that he either knew, expected, or planned this.

After that, Tyler came into the room and sat in front of me to watch his god of a boyfriend create Christmas decorations.

"Sirius, make some strings of light to add to the tree. And make a good, non-blinding star to add to the top while you're at it. Just one that can be disposed of or stored for later use."

Sirius nods his head as he waved his finger around himself to create what almost looks like light up Christmas light to put on a tree.

"He can do that?" I asked as he made the star in his hands.

"You'd be surprised what all we can do, Andy." Aberforth said as he watched. Anvindr nodded in agreement with him as they held onto me.

"Finally, to end the decorating, and to celebrate this special winter night, Phoenix, light the fireplace." Phoenix nodded. With such a simple task, he made a flame in his hand and launched it at the fireplace, lighting the wood inside instantly.

Meanwhile, Sirius and Vernon worked together to create some beautiful garlands with colorful lights on them. And soon, the room looked perfect. The Christmas tree, the lights, and so on. It was really a beautiful sight. Much more beautiful than just a simple room with snow outside. They really completed the Christmas look, but something was missing.

Furaih seemed to have read my thoughts as he went into the other room and brought out all the presents and set them under the tree.

"It seems we almost forgot the last touch. With these presents under this tree, this Christmas night is now perfect. Now, Tyler and I brought home a feast for us. So we should eat it while it's still warm." We all nodded and went to the dining room to start eating dinner.

Timeskip~

Soon, everyone had ate, opened their presents, and finished up this perfect Christmas night. It was a joyful time, to say the least. While everyone was talking and enjoying their time, I took the opportunity to put on a jacket and go to the porch. I watched the snow fall from the cloudy, yet moon filled sky.

The stars outside were bright, and the combination of the night sky with the falling of snow was the most beautiful thing I ever could imagine. Soon, the spirits came outside and crowded around me as I enjoyed the scene in front of us.

"How are you liking out first Christmas together, Andy?" Sirius asked with a smile that showed a bit of nervousness.

"It's perfect." I say while staring out into the night sky. I pulled out a few small boxes out of my pocket and turned to the spirits I've grown to love.

"It's not much. But I do appreciate all the time we've had together. Even if my life was flipped into a whole new way after meeting you guys, there hasn't been a single time I've been bored when you guys are around. So, please take these gifts from me." They nod and took their small, wrapped gifts.

They each pulled out their gift, which was a bracelet with a charm to match their power. A flame for Phoenix. A cloud for Anvindr. A water droplet for Aberforth. A tree for Vernon. And lastly, a star for Sirius.

They all put it on and embraced me in a strong group hug. "We love it, Andy." Says Vernon as he hugged me close.

"We love you." They all said at the same time. I tried my best to hug them back, which proved difficult. But it didn't matter. They know I love them as well.

"I love you guys too." I said with joy in my heart. We then went back inside to enjoy some family time together. And to drink some hot cocoa together to enjoy the rest of our Christmas night.
