Madison's POV~

"You have outdone yourself Madison. Good job."

"Thank you, Sir"

I was about to go when Mr.Finn, who was also the school's principal as well as my physics teacher stopped me.

"Can you please do me a favor?" He asked.

"Definitely"

Who can say no to the principal?

"Great! Now, I want you to show my nephew around the school and help him adjust."

"Your nephew?" I questioned.

"Yes, I want you to meet him. I thought you might have met him" Mr. Finn asked.

"I don't recall meeting him..." I muttered.

"He's new to our school and is in your batch. He might be in some of your classes. I will introduce you to him tomorrow."

"Okay Sir"

Having said that I picked up my belongings and left for home.

After I reached home the mysterious guy was missing again. I decided not to get bothered by his weird behavior and make myself something to eat.

I made some spaghetti and turned on the TV to watch something interesting. Flickering through the channels, satisfied I stopped at SpongeBob. I was about to take the first bite but the bell interrupted me.

Groaning I got up to see who this disturbing person was.

I opened the door and saw the 'stranger' standing there. I thought he had a key! Irritated, I closed the door on his face.

Not even two seconds passed and I heard the bell ring.

Rolling my eyes I opened the door once again.

"Why did you do that?" He questioned as he walked past me, straight into the living room.

"Felt like it" I replied, closing behind him after closing the door.

"Any specific reason for this feeling?" He narrowed his eyes towards me.

"Yes, you disturbed my peaceful linner!" I exclaimed, throwing my hands up in a dramatic way.

"Your linner?" He said dumbfounded.

"Yes, you know the meal between lunch and dinner"

"I did not know that but okay"

"Where are your keys?" I asked while making myself comfortable on the couch.

"On the bed in my room" I raised my eyebrow.

"What are they doing on the bed?" I fired him with another question.

"Sleeping duh" He replied as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

Deciding to ignore his sarcasm I took the spaghetti plate and devoured myself in its taste.

Suddenly my alarm went on, signaling me that it's time for my shift at Wired. I chose to leave a note letting him know that I was going out and will be home late.

My shift started at 5 PM and ended at 9 PM.

I took my bag, phone and went out of the apartment. Climbing down the stairs I waited patiently for Kyle to come and pick me.

Soon I heard a horn and a familiar blue Jeep came and stopped in front of me. Kyle popped his head out of the window and grinned at me. I grinned back and sunk myself into the front seat.

"Hey, Maddy!"

"Hey Kyle, now why didn't you come to school today? "

"You know why" He replied.

He started the engine and we rode towards the coffee shop.

"Yeah yeah the cool guy who doesn't attend the school on the first day" I said while rolling my eyes.

"That's right babe" He playfully winked at me.

This boy right here is my guy best friend and co-worker at wired. He had the duty to pick me up for work and then drop me back home.  He even cooks food. Now isn't he the best?

"So what did you do all day?"

"Nothing new, just chilled at home and watched Netflix"

"What a great thing to do" I muttered.

"What a man gotta do! What a man gotta do!"

"Oh no no no, please don't start singing"

Let me warn you Kyle is horrible at singing. It's better run miles away when he starts to sing in his not so pleasant voice.

But as of now I was stuck in here with him, bearing his exceptional talent.

"To be totally locked up by you" He continued....Oh my poor ears.

Sometimes I really hate him but as they say girls with a guy best friend are the lucky ones I was lucky to have Kyle.
