"How can that be possible?. I was never adopted and if I was, my parents would of course tell me, not hide it from me" I said as I couldn't believe to what I am hearing...

"It's true, witches can live up to 1000 years and they never age, what year was you born?" He said as I answered back "2000"

"And I saw that woman pregnant in 2000 exactly on New Years" my eyes widen as I couldn't believe it... how can my parents lie to me... maybe it's not me... it can't be... how?.

"Okay... lets just say it's me, even tho I still kinda do not believe its me... what happened to that woman?" I said as he just shrugged and leaned back.

"That I wonder myself... after I let go of her she left and I never seen her again... she's still alive tho, somewhere" I'd look at the floor...

"How do you know?" I questioned. "Because the daylight vampires are looking for her... to kill her" Id rise my eyes as I looked straight at him. "Why?" I asked "since the witches have the most biggest power and the daylight vampires want to be the strongest, they'll have to kill a witch" I'd get up as I had no words... if they find me!. I am dead... "this is why I am gonna protect you, so non of the lights kill you or harm you" Id get a little less worried.

"But your a night!. How will you do it in the daylight?" He got up and looked down on me.

"That you don't have to worry, I have a friend who is a day walker, she isn't like the others trust me" he said as I nodded "also... she goes to your college, so I'll go tell her" he said as I nodded.

I would hear my mum call my name for 'breakfast' and I would walk out and head downstairs and sat down in the kitchen at the table.

"Morning" mum said "morning" I answered and grab a plait and placed it front of me. "So how was sleep?" Father said as I shrugged "Fine" maybe I am a little mad that they have never told me I was adopted... or maybe brick was wrong.

"Did anything happen?" Mum looked at me worried, id look away "mum, dad!... was I adopted?" Everything went silent for few minutes... "am I?" Id widen my eyes.

"Yes, yes you was... I promise, we was going to tell you" Mum said upset as I stood up "when?, when was you going to tell me? and you hid that from me?, you know how that feels?, your own parents lying to you that your their real daughter!. But turns out I am adopted!?!" Id get angry as dad placed his hands on the table.

"Calm down!, you do not speak this way or your mother!. We treated you like no other, we didn't want to tell you until you was old enough to understand!" Dad said as I just faced him.

"Me calm down?, how do you think I'll react to this!, I had the rights to know! And are you telling me I am still a child?, no thank you, I am
16 almost 17!. Tell me when was you going to tell me?, when I am 20?, 25? Or when I leave the house!" I shouted and dad looked pissed off... but so was I!.

"I've had enough!. Go to your room and don't get out of your room until you learn to speak to me and your mother!" Id push the chair away and ran to my room.

I walked into my room and slammed my door and walked over to my bed and sat down, crossing my arms "You okay?" I faced him and gave him a death glare and looked at him like 'does it look like I am okay?' "Okay... I am guessing your not okay" he spoke and sat down near me. "But you can't blame them" id roll my eyes.

"I still had the rights to know" I said "but now you know..." I would sigh "that's not the point!. How come I found out I was adopted by you!, but not them!" He would hug me and id hug back. "I know that isn't fair on you... but see were they are coming from, maybe they wanted a real daughter, so they wanted you to think they are your real parents... or there is a different reasons!. There is always a reason to what everyone is doing" Id look down sad... maybe he is right... I messed up.

"Now let's go play some video games" he would say as I giggled and nodded.
