Yess we finally landed, the flight was super long . It's not that I haven't ever travelled by air before but I've got to admit this was a super long flight. Three freaking hours in that cramped seat, I wonder how people sit in this seat for international flights.

No wonder they are jet lagged. To add to my misery Neena wanted to exchange her seat with mine as I was sitting near the window.

We fought like cats and dogs for that. We were so loud that Isha's beauty sleep was disrupted and boy was she angry would have been an understatement. You never I mean ever should disrupt her beauty sleep. It's like waking up a baby who had a half nap and she throws tantrums worse than the baby.

She was so pissed. "What the fuck guys it's just for another hour or even less. One of you compromise" She bellowed looking at us and trying to go back to sleep. That stupid Neena had to spoil it she shoved me I was annoyed as hell so I shoved her back.

Which caused disruption to Isha's nap again and this time it was not pretty at all. She was completely awake and insane now. You see she needs a few hours of napping time like I previously mentioned. It was so bad that all of us started to argue like a bunch of school girls who are fighting for some stupid petty thing.

We were screaming, shouting and hitting each other. No one would believe that we're 22 year old's. That's how we were behaving. This would probably be that teachable moment, where our parents would justify as to why they didn't want us to go to some place on our own. I was just happy that they were not here to see us.

The air hostess noticed us and came to where we were seated. " Is there anything that I can help you with ladies" she asked with a slightly annoyed tone, the smile on her face conveyed something else. I guess they're trained to do that.

"Yes I would love it if you separate these two immature girls" Isha replied looking at me and Neena. While we're were just glaring at her. She can be so bossy at times. " I think they need time out they're acting worse than kindergarten students" she added looking at us and clenching her jaw.

"I'm so sorry she's doesn't mean that. We just had a small conflict we'll sort it out. RIGHT NEENA? " I shouted at Neena. "Yes of course no problem at all" Neena replied glaring at me.

The air hostess nodded her head and exited the place. I'm done with this crap. As it is the other passengers were looking at us weirdly and gossiping just like those apartment ladies who are jobless and poke their noses unnecessarily.

" Idiot move go and stick your ass to that window seat" I said while pulling her hand roughly and shoving her in the seat that I was previously seated in and settled myself in between both my crazy best friends. This isn't something new Neena and I had always fought for the window seat even during school trips and Isha used to be the mediator all the bloody time. Like she's any better, she always sleeps and acts like a child herself.

I was fuming if I were a cartoon character there would have been smoke coming out of my ears and my eyes all red, as it is I had a weird feeling that something was going to happen and Neena was being an ass and acting all bitchy.

"Now was that so bloody hard!!! You people do this all the time!!!Act like you're an adult" Isha replied irritated with our behavior. "Oh please you are not better" I replied huffing. After this the three of us pretty much ignored each other for the rest of the flight.

I was losing my patience when the Captain announced that the plane is about to land. To my relief we landed within ten minutes. As soon as the flight touched the runway I had butterflies in my stomach not the good kind , landings are always hard for me.

I'm usually anxious, for I think too much! I feel like the plane is going to crash or something. Which is not cool at all. Neena and Isha both sensed my uneasiness and held my hands. Thank God nothing happened. We landed successfully.

We collected our backpacks that were kept in the compartment above our heads and were walking towards the exit. Just when we were about to leave the same air hostess was standing outside and thanking everyone for flying with this airlines.

She looked at is again with that fake smile and greeted us. She started at me longer than others and gave a disgusting look. I hate it when people do that. Sure I'm not as pretty as she so but whatever. I internally cursed her and exited the flight.

We walked and finally entered THE JOLLY GRANT AIRPORT. What a wierd name right. Anyway it was really nice inside , everything was clean but this airport was not as big as the one in Bangalore. That definitely had to be the one that's more posh looking while this was just a simpler version.

Oh my god my ears unblocked finally. Damn they were hurting a lot. I was busy digging my fingers inside my ears and looking around. I know not exactly pretty sight to look at but excuse me I was tired and just wanted to sleep. Stupid flight , stupid friends and stupid luggage.

Just when I turned I saw something that I had never I mean ever see before. Two girls jumped ran and jumped again on who I assume are their boyfriends that too soldiers if I might add. It was literally like a movie scene. Neena and Isha were already near the baggage claim. I was just looking at these couples admiring their love for each other. They even kissed woah I'm shocked. Like I said a typical movie scene.

I will admit I have always had a thing for men in uniform. So to see a sight like this was heart warming. It wasn't just me who was looking at them. Many of them thanked these soldiers for their service and also bestowed their blessing upon them. I wanted to experience this kind of love. I envied them.

I was still staring at them and sighing dreamily when Neena shouted at me to get my ass there and help them with those bags. We definitely overpacked. They had already found three of them and were still hunting for the other bags. Yeah we bought a lot of bags! Blame our mom's, they went over board, this being our first "adult" trip and all. Whatever that means.

I was collecting another bag when I saw another soldier who I didn't see that time. Looks like they were three of them and I hadn't noticed the other one previously. Oh I hope he's single, my stupid sub conscious mind slipped this thought. What the hell was I even thinking!!??! Snap out Naina!!! I internally screamed at myself.

I had never I mean ever felt like this about a boy before excuse me a man. Sure I have had crushes but this was different. I was feeling all tingly and my heart was beating so fast. I just can't even explain the emotions.

Just then "Oh my god oh my god he's a soldier Naina. He's in the army!!" Isha screeched. I snapped out of my trance. She did not just say that, I was mortified. Oh god save me, this man was so close to us I'm sure he heard us. Isha and her loud voice!

As if things couldn't go any worse and Neena screamed " Holy shit!!! This has to be a sign. I know you have a thing for men in uniform and even challenged us that we can never find you a date who's a soldier. Here you have it he's right there all you have to do is ask him out" she screeched excited. She did not just say that, I think I'm going to faint. I'm pretty sure I heard that soldier chuckle but I could be wrong.

I was so irritated with these people.
"What the hell Isha and Neena??!?! Just shut up okay. Collect the bags let's go we have a long way to travel. Also are you guys insane??!?!I'm pretty sure he heard us. Quit embarrassing me. Idiots, get that bag Isha and you Neena go get the trolley" I told them gesturing to them with my hands and telling them to do what I had just told them to do.

But no they won't let this go what the hell is wrong with them. As if things weren't bad enough both of the together screeched "You didn't answer the question will you ask him out" both of them asked her. " No I won't! Have you lost your minds!!!! Why would he date me!??" I replied embarrassed and annoyed. This is horrifying and mortifying I just want the ground to suck me up. I'm crying inside. I will definitely make them pay for what they have done.

Both of them laughed and walked away. Just when I turned a trolley came crashing into that handsome hunk of a soldier and he fell down. Some stupid kid had done it. His mother apologised to that soldier and lead away without even helping him how rude.

I don't know what went wrong or where that sudden courage came but I walked near him and offered my hand "Hello Sir, give me your hand let me help you". He accepted my help galdly and I pulled him on his feet.

Suddenly I felt and electric current pass through my hand and straight to my heart. I was staring at his beautiful grey eyes which were widened just like mine. I sure as hell hope I'm not the only on who felt that and he too felt this wired buzzing where our hand were connected. At least then I'll know I'm not insane.

His hands were rough and calloused. Just like any other soldier's I thought. We were in a trance and we looking at each other so intensely.

Not for too long though, my stupid best friends had to return then and spoil this beautiful moment. "Wow Naina proud of you" Isha screamed while Neena was laughing next to her and holding on to the trolley.

I was so embarrassed I stepped back and ran away from him. Pushed both my friends out of the way while they followed me soon after. When I turned back the solider was still in a trance. I cannot believe this had just happened. My cheeks were burning. I just can't even think straight.

When we were out I turned around and shouted at my friends. "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE??!??!" both of them were smirking at me and looked at each other like they knew a secret that I wasn't aware of. This irked me even more.

"What!!!!???! Why are you both looking at me like that?????" I asked them impatiently. I was at my last straw.

" Isha do you want to bet someone's going to be in a relationship with someone who's a soldier?" Neena asked laughing. " Sure Neena I would gladly do so" Isha replied and both of them started laughing.

" SHUT UP BOTH OF YOU!!! I HATE YOU GUYS" I shouted at the top of my voice. I was pissed and they were purposely pissing me off more.

" Nothing is going to happen!!! Do you get it nothing!!!!" I told looking at the both of them irritated.

" Sure if you say so" both of them replied at the same time and moved away to get a taxi.

I feel like they have planned something behind my back and I just can't put my finger on it.

I was just standing there and waiting while they were trying to catch a cab.
I just can't warp my head around what just happened. Had I just meet my soul mate? What hell am I thinking such things don't exist. I repeated this over and over in my head.
