"Oh my god, oh my god, what are we going to tell our parents. Did you people make some speech or something? Please tell me if you did. I really want to go and volunteer in this camp. Tell me!!! How are you people not tensed about asking your parents." Naina blabbered out frantically walking around in her room more like jumping from one side to another.

" Can you people be cool for a while? I've got it covered" Isha replied confidently. "All you have to do is be firm and don't tell stupid things. Promise them that you'll read properly for that GRE and Neena you have to promise to do well in your finals." Isha added another point.

"Okay okay got it be confident and convincing right?" Naina asked again hesitating. " Yes jeez how many times have we been through this? It's going to be a piece of cake for you. Both of you at least have an undergraduate degree. I still have NOTHING!!! DO YOU GET IT NOTHING!!" Neena shouted frustrated with both of them.

" That's it both of you stop cribbing and sit down. We have to be cool and stop making these stupid excuses Neena. You're perusing medical that's a huge deal and honor just don't compare also how is that related to this? Totally out of context!!!" Isha told gesturing both of them to sit down.

All of them went to the hall and relaxed on the couch watching some random movie that was being telecasted on tv while they waited for their parents.

There was no coming back from this. They have already filled the applications and mailed them to the NGO and the orphanage where they were going to volunteer. In fact, Isha had already spoken to Sister Brenda who's the caretaker and the head of that orphanage.

She sounded so happy that three young girls were willing to come there and volunteer.

It really would hurt her feelings and hopes if the three of them backed out now. The only thing that was left to do was pay 5000 rupees for their travel expenses and accommodation.

That was not a huge amount given how much people spend on travel. Also, let's not forget that it was for a good cause. They had to convince their parents.

Just when they were starting to relax, the doorbell rang and all of their parents entered Naina's apartment, including Sanjana and Rohan. As usual, both of them arguing about stupid things and Kinjal is always the mediator between them. Rohan is Isha's younger brother and Kinjal Neena's younger sister.

Naina always felt that Sanjana and Rohan have feelings for each other and they seem to be covering it up with their stupid banters. She even caught them blushing at each other on many occasions and boy does she love teasing her.

"Hi girls!!! What you up ?" Mrs.Rao asked chattering excitedly. "Hi, Aunty!" Neena and Isha replied simultaneously and Naina looked at her mom weirdly. "Hey, mom what's up? " Naina eyed her suspiciously. She wondered what exactly her mother was excited about?. 3, 2, 1 there were the shopping bags hence the happy face and good mood. Naina was 100 percent sure that her mom would have bargained that's why she looks so happy, she thought to herself.

Just then her dad followed and then came Isha's and Neena's parents. Everyone greeted each other. Their fathers settled down in front of the TV and the channel had already changed. They were watching some boring news channel, talking about politics and whatnot.

Meanwhile, their moms were acting like they hadn't seen each other in a million years and gossiping about random stuff. When in reality they all had met up for some stupid kitty party just a couple of days ago.

Here comes the hard part. All three of them were signaling each other to start the conversation and get it over with so that they could pay for the trip and start packing since it was only a week away.

"You go first" Neena shoved Isha, which irritated Isha. " No way!! I think it's fair that Naina should start this conversation since it's her house and all..." Isha stated shrugging her shoulders and crossing her arms and staring at Naina.

"I agree!" Neena turned around and both of them started at Naina waiting for her to go and start the conversation.

" No no, no fucking way! I ain't gonna do it!" Naina said furiously pointing at them. " It was your idea Isha! I think it's fair if you do it first!" Naina argued back. " That's actually true! I think you should do it Isha" Neena agreed with Naina and Naina smirked raising her brows.

" Just shut up Neena! Why don't you do it since your switching sides like you switch boyfriends every second" Alas the bomb blasted boom? Oh no, she did not just say that Naina thought. Neena had a bad record with guys. She goes on a lot of dates but has never really been in a relationship with anyone.

Naina and Isha were always concerned about her but never bought it between arguments. This was not Good! Naina could see Neena's face turning red, before she could blast off and give her course of harsh words Naina decided to intervene.

"That was not cool Isha. APOLOGISE NOW!!" Naina said clenching her jaw. Neena had been like that since her last breakup. That guy was s total douche. He tampered with her confidence. Since then she has been like this.

"Oh god! I'm so sorry Neena I didn't mean it like that. I'm just stressed because of this!" Isha replied apologizing. " Fine whatever let's go out of this room and talk to them. I want to be done with this."

They all finally agreed that Isha would start this conversation and later the other two will join and state their points strongly. Just when they were about to leave the room Naina's mom called them for lunch. Rohan, Sanjana, and Kinjal were already there and talking about some upcoming fest that was going to be held in Rohan's college.

The mom's served them amazing lunch. Once they were done with their lunch Naina gestured Isha to start talking.

" Okay everyone can we please see you in the living room. I don't care about the siblings but all the parents please be seated on the sofa. We have an announcement to make." Isha told them. Their siblings look offended but still gathered around in the living room.

" What's all of this about?" Rohan whispered to Naina. " You'll find out soon enough. Go sit!!!". "You're no fun!" Rohan grunted and sat next to Kinjal. Naina smacked his head and told him to wait patiently.

"What's going on Naina? " Her mom's asked her eyeing all of them suspiciously. "Chill Ma! You'll find out in just a minute. Isha where did you go?"

"Oh my god! Are any of you pregnant?!!??" Mrs.Sharma Isha's mom asked the girls and everyone was shocked listening to her question.

" MAA what is wrong with you ??!??!?!" Isha came running inside the hall with Neena behind who's eyes were widened.

"Oh my god tell me it's not that!" Naina's mom and Mrs.Bharghav Neena's mom exclaimed looking at the girls.

" Well, this just got interesting!" Rohan chartered happily sitting as if he were watching a movie. Kinjal and Sanjana smacked him on the head.

" Stop assuming things all of you. It's nothing like that and you Rohan just shut up or you know what'll happen." Isha told him sternly.

"Oh thank God you girls scared us so much. Now tell us what's all of this?". Naina's father asked them.

" Yeah, I'm getting there Uncle! So all of us registered for this volunteering program, which is to be held next week in Dehradun. We were hoping that you guys will let us go." Isha said looking at all of them expectantly.

" So it's a program where we go to an orphanage in Dehradun for a month and a half and teach the kids there, help them with stuff, and many other things. The program is for a good cause. We really want to make a difference by going there. Please let us go." Naina stated her point pleading with them, while all the parents were looking at them skeptically.

" How do we not know you people are going somewhere else and lying about this program?" Isha's father asked them.

" We're not lying Uncle," Neena said and walked confidently to where their fathers were seated and showed them the confirmation mail. " Look at this Uncle Rao, Uncle Sharma, and Dad. This is a confirmation letter and we even have the pamphlet" Neena showed them. All the moms also joined and it was passed on to every parent in the room.

"All we have to do is pay 5000 rupees for accommodations" Naina added another point.

The three of them waited eagerly for their response. "Guys it's been 15 minutes! Can we go or not?" Isha asked irritated.

Their parents discussed it as if it was some life decision. All three of them rolled their eyes and waited a bit more. " Okay fine you guys can go but on one condition". Naina's dad stated.

"Yes okay, what's the condition dad?" Naina asked looking at him hoping that it's not something dumb like call us every 10 minutes or worse download some app that tracks them.

" We know we can't stop you, girls, from doing stuff. You're all grown up now. So the one thing that we ask from you is that all of you call us at least once a day okay?" Neena's dad asked them.

" Yes of course we'll call!!!" All three of them exclaimed with joy. " Please be safe and no drinking and stuff please" all the moms added their point too.

" Also make sure that Isha does not do anything stupid and you too Naina. Neena is the only responsible one" Mr. Sharma added jokingly.

"Uncle" "Dad" both Naina and Isha sighed embarrassed and Neena was laughing her ass off.

Once all this drama was done. The girls went inside Naina's room and started dancing. "WE'RE GOING!!!!!" All of them shouted and started making plans for their packing.

"Oh could you girls make some hot friends and give me their numbers," Rohan told smirking at them, leaning against the door and looking at them.

" You asshole! Get lost!" All of them shouted at him and shoved him out of the room.

They made their payments for the accommodations and made a checklist.

They couldn't wait for this to start.

Presenting to you...Chapter 3. I just wanted to show how close nit these 3 friends are. I believe Naina is soft-spoken, Isha is definitely the bold one and you can clearly see where she got it from 😂, and well Neena is just simple but also a sprite fire at times.

There will be a lot of character development so look forward to that.

I've always wanted this kind of Friendship. You know where the families are also the best of friends. Hence this chapter. Don't ever forget your loved ones or the ones who've always been there for you.
