It's been three years since Meera and Veer got married. Veer's business was successful and he had even opened a couple of more training centers. Many of these officers had overcome the fears that they had with their injuries and even entered the Olympics. In addition to that Prerana had branched out to help women who had lost their husbands in the army.

All in all, it was going really well. In fact, Veer even had a huge fan following. A year back Veer had stopped working for TIIS after his contract ended. Although he did miss the thrill Veer wanted to focus on his kids and Prerana. Meera had supported his decision wholeheartedly. Meera too had gotten a promotion she was no longer Flight Lieutenant Meera Raichand, she was now Squadron Leader Meera Raichand Gupta.

Meera was coming home to Pune today after almost seven months in Srinagar. She did get injured but it wasn't anything major. Things got kind of heated. She had a bandage over her head and a crape band covering her left hand. That was the only severity of her injury.

Meera tapped her feet and waited eagerly for her family to arrive. She was currently waiting at the platform of the railway station. She grinned widely when she spotted her six-year-old girl daughter Tara wearing a red frock. She ran towards her and wrapped her arms around her waist. Meera kneeled and hugged her tightly. It had been way too long since she had seen her pretty face.

"Hey, baby! I missed you so much!" She sniffled and hugged her daughter close. Meera and Veer had gone back to Dehradun after Meera's deployment. They had visited the orphanage that once had been their home. Tara was the girl who Meera had met on the day before Veer's birthday when they had gone there to celebrate it with all the kids.

Veer and she decided to adopt her. Meera smiled and held her daughter's face in between her hands, Tara's hazel eyes twinkled. That day when she laid her eyes on her Meera just knew that Tara belonged to them and no one could ever change that. She was meant to be part of their family.

"Mumma! I missed you so much!" Tara exclaimed with her sweet voice and Meera's heart melted. Meera smiled and showered her daughter's face with kisses until she was a giggling mess. "Stop! Tickles!" Tara swatted her mother's face away and wiped her cheeks. Meera smiled and placed one last huge kiss on her cheek.

Tara looked at her mother's face and traced the bandage that was on her head. "You hurt?" She frowned and asked. Meera grabbed her palm and kissed it softly. "I'm okay baby don't worry! Your Mumma is very strong!" Tara frowned but nodded.

"Pihu! Please don't run so fast!" Meera stood up when she heard her husband's voice who was chasing their second daughter Pihu Gupta, she was the naughty one. They called her Pihu because she never stopped chattering. Meera smiled as her two-year-old daughter ran towards her. Her steps were a bit wobbly but she was the most adorable person ever.

Pihu was wearing a cute yellow frock and looked like a cute sunflower. She had Meera's bright brown eyes, her straight hair, and most of all Veer's beautiful smile. "Mumma!" She screeched when Meera picked her up and threw her in the air. She giggled as her hair flared around her face and her chubby cheeks were now red. "I missed my monster!" Meera whispered and kissed her cheeks continuously.

Pihu's tinkling laugh filled the air. Meera couldn't help but feel emotional. The last she saw her she was only a year and a few months old. Now she had grown up so much. Even Tara looked older than the last time. None of the pictures that Veer sent her over the months gave her the satisfaction of looking at them now.

"I-I missed yow!" Pihu whispered and Meera once again cried. She hugged her tightly and rocked her back and forth kissing her cheeks repeatedly. Pihu giggled and tried pushing her away. Meera kneeled and grabbed Tara as well, who was happy to join the group hug. Veer stood there for a while and admired the scene before him. His wife was still in her uniform. The blue shirt that had all her ranks pinned and black pants. He was so proud of his wife. He was relieved that she was back home. He was finally at peace that all his girls were back. The missing piece in their family was finally back. "Excuse me! No hugs for the husband huh?" Veer complained and his three girls laughed.

Meera gazed at her husband. She stood up and admired him. He was closing thirty. The smile that had charmed her all those years ago was still intact on his face. He no longer made that blank face. His black eyes twinkled and Meera grinned widely.

She took a few steps towards her husband and wrapped her arms around his neck. She buried her face in his neck and hugged him tightly. Veer chuckled softly and held her tightly. Their children looked at their parents with an awed face.

"I missed you wife!" Veer whispered and Meera's eyes glistened with tears. "I missed you too! I love you so much Veer!" She kissed his cheek and was about to pull away but Veer hugged her tightly. Meera laughed and sniffled. "I love you too!"

He held her face in between his hands and traced the bandage with his finger with a frown on his face. Meera patted his hand and smiled at him. "Don't worry about it! I'm fine Veer! Just a tiny accident!" Veer didn't look convinced but he sighed and kissed her forehead.

A few seconds later Pihu jumped in between them. "Me me tiss me!!!" She began chanting and Tara laughed. Meera laughed and grabbed her. She kissed her daughter's chubby cheeks continuously. "There you go! Is that enough?" Pihu pretended to think and then finally nodded making everyone laugh. Tara hugged her father who caressed her hair. He scolded her lightly for running away without him. She apologized and that was the end of Veer's anger. He could never stay mad at his daughters for more than a few minutes.

Pihu yawned against Meera's neck and rubbed her nose with her tiny palms. Meera chuckled and caressed her back. Pihu had closed her eyes and was now snoring lightly. "Well, that didn't take long!" Meera muttered, Veer laughed and shook his head. Tara too was now yawning and leaning against Veer who was patting her back.

"Some people refused to take a nap today and not to mention they were so excited last night that they didn't even sleep until it was midnight!" Veer said and Tara smiled at him. Meera chuckled and hugged a sleeping Pihu close to her. "Come on let's go!" Veer said after a few seconds. There was a lot of chaos in the station and many were reunited with their families.

Meera held Tara's hand and waited for her husband who slung the bag over his shoulder and wheeled her suitcase. Meera followed her husband and ruffled Tara's hair as she yawned again. "Just a few minutes baby! You can sleep in the car!" Tara smiled at her mother with sleepy eyes and nodded. Once they reached the car Veer loaded the bags into the trunk and shut it.

He picked Tara and buckled her with the seatbelt while Meera did the same with Pihu. She kissed her forehead and was about to pull away but Pihu had a strong grip on her collar. Meera chuckled and remembered all the times she had done that since she was a baby. She kissed her chubby knuckle and eased her grip. She leaned and kissed Tara's forehead who was already snoozing.

She sat in the front seat after double-checking her kids were safe and tucked. Veer began driving towards their house. Silence filled the car. Her parents hadn't come because Meera had insisted them not to since they were busy with some of the arrangements that were being made.

Tanya and Andy were getting engaged tomorrow. After years of friendship and a few years of dating Andy had finally proposed. Veer of course gave him the necessary warnings but he knew that there was no one better for his baby sister than Andy.

As for Ira and Kabir, they hit a rough patch but had managed to work things out. Neel's Uncle did not like what happened but he did understand where Kabir was coming from. They were together and Meera knew for a fact that Kabir was going to propose to her soon.

Sheena and Karan had tied the knot a couple of years ago. It was a huge wedding and both the families celebrated it like a festival. They were now expecting their first child. Meera couldn't have been happier for her friends. Karan had even gotten promoted and he was now a Major. During his vacation, he would help out Veer with training some of the students at Prerana.

Ankit Sameer Uncle's and Isha Aunty's son and Nisha Sahil Uncle's and Neena Aunty's daughter began dating which came as a shock because all they did was fight. Harish Nisha's brother too had found the girl of his dreams. They made a really cute couple. Everyone in the family was starting to settle down and Meera knew that this made their parents immensely happy. She had even stayed in touch with Anjali who was doing really well. She had even helped Veer with Prerana. She had helped many widows get jobs.

Meera snapped out of her thoughts when Veer parked the car in front of their house. The same house he had surprised her with on their wedding day. Veer carried Tara and Meera carried Pihu to their respective rooms. As Veer promised they had constructed two more rooms as their family expanded.

Meera placed Pihu on her small bed. She pulled out her shoes and tucked the duvet around her tiny body. Pihu smiled in her sleep. Her room was entirely princess-themed and pink. On most days she slept here but once in a while she would crawl into her big sister's bed and snuggle with her. On other days they would jump into her and Veer's bed where teh four of them would cuddle together.

Meera couldn't believe how much her kids had grown over the past few months. She sighed kissed her forehead and walked towards Tara's room where Veer had tucked her. She kissed her forehead and chuckled when she found a book on her bedside table. Tara was a reader just like Veer and she was the silent one. While Pihu loved plotting something and causing havoc around the house. They were opposites but loved each other fiercely. There were times when Tara would join with her sister as well. It was amazing to watch them together.

Meera sighed and kissed her one last time. She took a quick shower changed into some comfortable clothes that consisted of Veer's shirt and pajamas. Then she went in search of her husband. She sighed when she found him cooking something for her in the kitchen. His muscles contracted as he stirred something with the spatula. "Stop ogling me like a creep!" He said, he covered the dish with a lid and turned around leaning against the counter.

Meera laughed and moved closer to him. She looped her arms around his waist and tilted her head until their lips almost brushed against each other. "I can ogle all I want!" Veer chuckled, he traced her cheek with his fingertips and kissed her lips. Meera sighed and wrapped her arms around his neck. She moaned as she pushed her tongue into his mouth. Meera gladly opened her mouth and their tongues tangled. It had been way too long since she had felt this way.

She sighed and began moving her lips vigorously against his mouth. Veer hard-on pressed against her stomach. Meera moaned and gripped his hair as he tightened her arms around her waist. Meera was the first one to break the kiss. She sighed and moaned as Veer pulled her sleeve down and sucked on her slender neck. She titled her head and gave him more access.

"I missed you so much! So fucking much!" He muttered and kissed her collar bone. Meera sighed and moaned. She kissed his cheek and traced her lips over his lips. It was swollen. They were about to make out again but paused when a burning smell filled the kitchen. Veer's eyes widened. He pulled away from Meera and switched off the stove.

Meera giggled as she saw her husband curse and stir the now burnt spaghetti. "Damn it! I was going to make you the special pasta that I had finally learned from your mother! She was not ready to give me the secret ingredients.  But, I charmed my way through, and now this! Ugh!" Veer cursed and ran his hands through his hair frustratedly.

Meera hugged him and kissed his lips. He could be so cute. "Aww, it's okay Veer! Let's just order some Pizza! You can always make it up to me in other ways!" Meera whispered huskily and he chuckled with a glint in his eyes. "Well, then I'll hold you to that! Why not start now? The pizza takes at least thirty minutes!"

Meera giggled and kissed his lips. He quickly ordered the pizza. Veer picked her up and placed her on the counter, he stood in between her legs and began kissing and sucking her neck. "Veer! Stop! I meant the bedroom not here! What if the kids come?" Veer didn't care and began fondling her breasts with his hands. He squeezed it and she moaned.

"We'll know don't worry!" She hummed and pulled him closer. Within seconds his shirt was on the floor. Meera gasped when he began unbuttoning her shirt. She hadn't worn a bra he whistled and she laughed feeling giddy. She kissed his scar and Veer smiled. It was her way of reminding him that everything turned out to be amazing.

He dived right in and began sucking her nipples and massaged the other one with his hand. Meera was about to push his pants down but then two voices floated from the staircase. "Mumma, Papa? Where are you?" Veer stopped whatever he was doing and groaned. Meera giggled softly and began buttoning her shirt.

Veer closed his eyes for a few seconds and tried to control his breath. His pupils were now dilated and filled with lust but they couldn't do it now. Meera jumped off the counter, retrieved his shirt from the floor. She pressed it to his chest and kissed his lips. "We'll finish later I promise!" Veer chuckled and nodded. "I'll take that! Get ready for a sleepless night!" Meera shoved his chest and blushed at his statement. Veer always knew how to make her feel shy.

Meera was about to go to the living room but she heard giggling coming from the backyard and knew that their daughters were definitely up to no good. Veer pulled her back. "Is your hand okay?" He asked her with a concerned voice. Meera kissed his cheek and nodded. "It's fine don't worry just a small sprain. The hot shower helped!" Veer smiled and kissed her forehead.

Together they walked towards the backyard to find Tara and Pihu engaged in a water fight. Meera ducked as Tara aimed the gun at her. She laughed when the water squirted on her husband who groaned. She sprinted towards Tara and they shared a hi-fi. "Yes, good job baby!" Tara giggled and nodded.

Veer wiped the water off his eyes and glared at his wife who winked at him. "Pihu! Get your mother and sister!" He shouted. Meera and Tara laughed, they began running away as Veer and Pihu chased them. Veer picked up Pihu and aimed her gun at Meera but she once again ducked with a smirk on her face.

"This is my kind of game Veer! You can't catch me!" Meera exclaimed with a sing-song voice and her daughters giggled. Veer raised his brows and ran his fingers through his wet hair. "Is that so?" He asked and Meera smirked. Meera shrugged her shoulders and winked at him.

"Yes Veer!" Veer laughed and shook his head. "You better run Meera because when I catch you I'm going to make sure you're wet!" Meera's heart thudded against her chest and she laughed. Before she could comprehend what was happening her kids were already standing next to her husband. Together they began chasing her as Meera ran giggling loudly.

She couldn't keep up for long because Tara and Pihu surrounded her. Veer held her waist and lifted her before she could run away. "Tara you're supposed to be on my side!" Meera exclaimed with a laugh. "Sorry, Papa needed help so I joined! This is more fun!" She screamed excitedly.

"Now! Shoot girls!" Veer shouted and both her daughters pointed the water gun at Meera and squirted the water making Meera completely wet. Ver locked his arms tightly around her waist. He laughed as Meera squealed trying to get away from his grip. "Ahh, Veer let go!" Meera spluttered as both his daughters doused the entire water on her.

The bell rang startling everyone. "I think the Pizza is here!" Veer whispered and placed Meera on her feet. Meera shrieked and tried to get the water out of her hair. "I'll get you back for this Veer!" She shouted as he sprinted towards the house to get the pizza. "I look forward to it Meera!" He said with a laugh and walked away.

Tara and Pihu giggled as their parents bantered. Meera gave them the stink eye but instead of being scared, they began laughing harder. She chuckled and rolled her eyes. She held both their hands and together took them to her bedroom. She helped them change into warm clothes.

"Okay, go to your father I'll come down in a couple of minutes!" They kissed her cheek quickly and ran away. "No running down the stairs!" Meera said and they giggled following their mother's instructions. Meera changed her clothes and dried her hair with a towel. She grabbed a t-shirt for Veer as well and descended the stairs and walked towards the living room.

She smiled at the scene in front of her. Veer was helping their children get a plate and eat. Meera walked towards them and sat in between her daughters who gave her a chummy smile as they ate the pizza. Meera passed the shirt to Veer who grabbed it and smiled at her. They laughed, ate the food, and cracked jokes.

Once lunch was done. They decided to watch Alice in Wonderland. "I want to sit with Mumma! You move!" Tara pushed Pihu off her lap and made herself comfortable on Meera's lap. While Pihu glared at her older sister. She wanted to sit next to her Mumma as well.

She shrieked and headbutted her sister who screeched and fell next to Veer on the couch. "No, I sit on Mumma!" Pihu declared and settled herself on Meera's lap. She pulled Meera's hand across her waist and tucked herself. Tara glared at her younger sister. She climbed and then the next war had begun.

Meera looked at them with an amused expression as they argued on who would get to snuggle with her. Veer chuckled and shook his head. Meera didn't want to interrupt. She wanted to spend an equal amount of time with both of them. She would have cuddled with both of them but they wouldn't agree.

Veer whistled and they stopped arguing for a minute. He stood up carried both of them and dumped both of them on the other side of the couch. "You both decide meanwhile I'll snuggle with your mother!" He declared sat next to Meera and hugged her close. Meera laughed softly and poked his side. "Are they glaring at me?" Veer asked as he watched the television.

Meera peaked to find that both her daughters were indeed glaring at him. "Yes, they are!" She whispered with a laugh. "I bet they'll come back in a while and agree to snuggle with you together!" Veer muttered and Meera nodded. They do that all the time.

A few minutes later as expected. Tara snuggled on one side and Pihu on the other side of Meera. Veer couldn't help but admire the view before him. He clicked some pictures and grinned widely. They spent time together as a family. They played games, ate dinner, and finally narrated a story. Pihu fell asleep with Tara. They tucked them both in the same bed and switched off the lights.

Meera sighed and laid flat on the bed. Veer too lay beside her. "I missed them so much!" Meera muttered and Veer sighed pulling her closer. Meera titled her head stared deeply into her husband's beautiful black eyes. "Thank you for everything! I couldn't have done anything without your support!" Meera whispered and hugged him tightly.

Even after having two kids Veer never restricted her from pursuing her dreams. He encouraged her, held her hand, and made sure that everything was under control. "Meera we're together in this! I couldn't have done any of this without you either so there's no need to thank me!" Meera smiled and blinked back the tears in her eyes.

She straddled his hips, placed her palms on either side of his face, and kissed his lips. Veer sighed and pulled her closer. He held her waist and moved to a sitting position. Meera opened her mouth and their tounges tangled. She could taste a mixture of chocolate that they had for dessert and Veer.

She broke the kiss to catch her breath. Veer panted for a few seconds and then kissed her neck. Within seconds their shirts were on the floor. Veer sucked her nipples, Meera arched her back and moaned. He flipped her, her back was pressed against the bed. She arched her back as he kissed her stomach and dipped his tongue in her navel. She gripped his hair and moaned.

Veer laughed and capture her lips again in a passionate lock. Their naked chests were pressed against each other. Meera trailed her fingers into his pants and squeezed his shaft. Veer growled and sucked her neck. "We have a lot of catching up to do!" Meera muttered and Veer breathed a laugh against her neck.

"Of course! I'm up for all the making up!" Veer pulled her pants along with her underwear. Now Meera was completely naked. Veer smirked at her, he leaned down kissed her stomach again, and dipped his head between her legs. Meera arched her back when he sucked her clit. "Woah!"  Veer chuckled and pushed a finger inside her. He began sucking and pumping her. Meera's body convulsed as the pleasure became unbearable.

She fisted the pillow behind her and arched her back. Veer didn't stop until Meera's stomach coiled and she came hard. She moaned his name and tried to catch her breath. Veer laid down beside her and grinned widely. "This is only the beginning! Pace yourself Meera!" Meera chuckled and blushed.

A few minutes later before Meera could do anything Veer hovered over her and was inside her within a jiffy. Meera moaned and locked her legs around his waist. Veer pulled out and thrust again this time going deeper. Meera arched her back and moaned. Veer increased the pace looked into her eyes deeply. Meera's heart was racing. All she could see was love.

A few more thrusts later she arched her back and moaned. Veer thrust a few more times and moaned. "I love you!" Veer whispered and Meera kissed him. "I love you too!" Veer kissed her forehead and pushed the hair that was matted to her face.

They snuggled next to each other for a few minutes and then showered together. There was no use of that because they made love again and again. Meera sighed and snuggled close to his chest. He smiled and pulled her closer.

The next morning Tara and Pihu jumped on their beds. Veer had unlocked the door a few hours back. Today was the day Tanya and Andy were getting engaged. "Wakey wakey! Pihu wear pwetty dress today! Wakey Mumma!" Pihu screamed into Meera's ear who groaned and blinked her eyes open.

"Papa! Get up! I want to wear that dress for Maasi's and Chachu's engagement! Get up!" Tara screamed in her father's ear. "No, both of you go back to bed! It's only seven in the morning that isn't until eleven! Let us sleep!" Veer mumbled into the pillow and Meera chuckled.

"Girls! Wake your Papa first because he's the one because of whom I'm so tired right now!" Tara and Pihu shrugged their shoulders nodded their heads and jumped on Veer's back. He groaned and whined causing Meera to laugh.

"Papa! We need to get ready now! Nani said that she wants us there early! So get up!" Tara screamed. Pihu began jumping as well. "Okay, why don't we all snuggle for a while. Then we'll get ready! Is that okay?"

Tara nodded and Pihu looked at her older sister. She too nodded after a few seconds. "Great come on then!" Tara snuggled against Meera and Pihu snuggled against Veer. Pihu began telling him about something. Veer listened to her intently and gave his opinion. He kissed her palm when she traced his cheek with her tiny hands making her giggle.

"I missed you, Mumma! I really did! I had a nightmare that you were gone forever!"  Meera sighed and pulled her closer. She ran her fingers through her hair and caressed her back. "I'm right here baby! I'm not going anywhere! I always come back as I promised you!" Tara's parents had passed away in a car crash. None of the relatives wanted her which caused her to become an orphan.

Tara's eyes filled with tears as she nodded. "But, Varun said that you are gone! You left me! He even pushed me down recess!" Meera frowned and kissed her forehead. "Who's this Varun? He and I are going to have a long talk." Meera asked and traced her face with her fingertips.

"He's a boy in my class. He's nice but sometimes he can be mean and he was mean to me this week. But, Papa scared him, Mumma!" Tara said with a giggle and Meera laughed as well.  Of course, he would have warned that kid.

"Baby, I need you to understand that even though I don't get to be there with you for a lot of things I will always support you and am rooting out for you! Whenever you feel that you're missing me just close your eyes and think about me! I'm always here!" Meera tapped her chest and Tara grinned nodding. Meera kissed her forehead and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.

"You do know what I do right?" Meera asked and Tara nodded her head enthusiastically. "You are an officer in the Airforce and you protect everyone! I know Mumma you told me!" Meera laughed. Her daughter had indeed grown up a lot.

"That's right Tara! I just want you to know that I love you!" Tara nodded her head and kissed her cheek. "Yes, I know! I love you too. Next time when I miss you I'll close my eyes and think about you! I even spoke about your job in school! Everyone clapped Mumma! Ma'am said that it was a great service to our country! I'm proud of you!"

Meera's eyes glistened with tears when she heard the words. Her little girl was telling her that she was proud of her. "Thank you so much, sweetheart! I'm proud of you too! You're my special star!" Tara giggled and buried her face in Meera's neck.

"Do I need to talk to this Varun? Or is everything sorted out?" Tara groaned, "Yes please don't go again and embarrass me as Papa did. He scared him, Mumma!" Meera giggled and kissed her cheek.

"Your Papa is just a bit protective of you! Don't worry I won't,  but next time he does that I will!" Tara nodded. They spent the next hour talking, hugging, and giggling.

They had to get up because Annie called and asked them to get ready fast and come to the venue. The girls wore pretty dresses which were pink and orange in color. Meera wore a blue saree and Veer looked dashing in his suit.

Veer couldn't help but admire his beautiful girls. "You look stunning Mrs.Gupta !" Veer whispered into Meera's ears and traced her back. Meera smiled and pecked his lips. "You clean up well too Mr. Gupta!" Veer chuckled and kissed her forehead.

They helped the kids into the car and drove straight to the venue. Unlike Meera and Veer, Andy and Tanya wanted to have an engagement ceremony as well.

Meera was greeted by her family. Annie crushed her into a hug and didn't let her go for a solid ten minutes. Arjun too hugged his daughter and kissed her forehead. "Missed you kiddo!" Meera laughed, "Missed you too Dad!" She whispered and hugged him tightly.

The ceremony was beautiful. Tara and Pihu watched in awe as the room filled with colors. They jumped and began clapping when Andy and Tanya exchanged the rings. Meera smiled and remembered how Veer had proposed to her. Even though it had been a few years back it still felt like that had happened just yesterday.

She glanced at Veer to find him staring at her. "I love you!" He mouthed and Meera did the same. They entwined their hands together and grinned widely as Andy kneeled before Tanya and pushed the ring onto her finger. Tanya laughed and did the same with his ring.

Things weren't always easy for Veer and Meera. They still fought on some days but always knew that they would come back to each other. The love that they shared was ethereal. Once upon a time, they were just lost kids who didn't have an identity but now they had an entire family supporting them. They were part of a huge family. Meera and Veer chuckled as both their daughters huddled towards the stage and threw confetti on the couple. This was their life and they were happy with it!
