Everyone is watching Fallon and I'm here like. And btw sorry if Lucas isn't in this chap. But he will be in next chap so don't worry.

"Jana! Get your ass up." Jana heard as something landed on top of her. She panicked slightly since she had just woken up. She shoved the body off and looked down at the ground to see Steve laying on the ground. He groaned slightly, sitting up. "Ow!"

"You know how I get when you do that!" She snapped at him, sighing and pulling the covers off her. Steve wasn't the worst guy to her. Compared to her last Foster home- which consisted of 5 brothers and 3 sisters, who punched you for even looking at them.-he was a step up, and treated her with at least a bit of respect. She was thankful for even that.

"My bad." He groaned, sitting up. "I came to tell you you'll be staying with Nancy and her family for the week."

"Wait what?" She asked, standing up "your girlfriend? Why?"

"I'm going with Mom and Dad when they come back. Their taking me to California. We go every year." He said. She looked at him hurt. Why would they not take her? Isn't she part of the family now?

"What about me? I thought Carly said they would take me?" She asked, pointing at herself. Carly was Steve's mom. Steve shrugged. "I've always wanted to go to California."

"They said that they couldn't afford it." Steve said, shrugging. Jana rolled her eyes.

"Bullshit. They have three houses and always are out on business. When they aren't they are gone for vacation. Their coming back from Italy!" Jana said angrily. "This isn't about not having money, this is about the fact they used me for money. I'm not family to you!"

"Jana, that's not true and you know it." Steve said, standing up. She scoffed and folded her arms.

"Don't lie to me Steve. You guys are ditching me for California. It's happened before. I'll bet you won't even come back. You'll throw me with Nancy and never come back."

"That's happened before?" He asked, Jana didn't answer, just clinched her jaw. He sighed. "Trust me, we aren't ditching you and I swear, the next trip we go on. You will get to go."

"I won't count on it." She said, pushing past him. He sighed and turned around.

"They will be picking you up in an hour. She has a brother your age. Mike." He said, she stopped, and turned to look at him.

"I won't even get to see them will I?" She asked. She knew they weren't the best foster parents, but they were the best compared to her others. So it was a big deal when she got to see them. He didn't meet her eyes and just shook his head slightly. "Of course."

"I'll... see you." Steve said, still not meeting her eyes, he walked past her and ran down the stairs. She sighed, walking to her closet and grabbing her bag. She sat it on the bed and started packing.

Back at Mike's house, Mike walked down the stairs as his sister called for him. He looked at her confused, since he had just got done changing.

"What's up?" He asked her, putting his hand on the railing. She looked at him.

"You know how I talked about Steve's new foster sister?" She asked, grabbing her coat.

"Yeah... What about her?" Mike asked, walking down the stairs fully. He remembered yesterday when Lucas had asked about her, he still wasn't sure what she looked like.

"Is it cool if she stays here for the week? Steve and their parents are going to California and he asked me to watch her." She said. Mike looked at her confused.

"Why wouldn't they take her? Isn't she part of their family?" Mike asked confused. Nancy shrugged.

"I don't know, I've never met Steve's parents." Nancy said.

"Yeah, I guess it's ok. But she's not taking my room." Mike said. Nancy laughed and shook here head.

"No Mike, she's staying in the basement." She concluded and Mike nodded. "Except this time she's gonna have an actual bed. Steve brought it over last night. Said we can keep it after. I'm driving to go get her now if you wanna come?"

Mike nodded again and grabbed his coat as they walked out the door, meanwhile, Jana had finished packing stuff for her and was now packing stuff in a little bag for her pet. She wasn't  leaving Lilith there. She had survived 8 homes with her, and wasn't about to leave her.

Once she was done, she grabbed Lilith's cage and carried it down slowly, she sat it down no the kitchen table and was allowing Lilith to nibble on her finger when the doorbell rang, she looked at it confused, seeming as if it was Nancy, she was a lotta early. She walked over to the door, opening it to see-shocker- Nancy and a boy her age. She looked at them questioningly.

"So your the new wardens?" She asked sassily. Nancy laughed awkwardly.

"No, we're your new... Friends." Nancy said. Nancy had been awkward around Jana ever since she arrived.

"I decide my friends. Let's go." Jana spoke as Steve walked up, Jana went to grab her rat as Steve and Nancy hugged, Mike stared in surprise as she brought the cage over. He looked at Lilith.

"Oh my god! You have a pet rat?" He asked, bending down slightly to look at Lilith better. Jana smiled and nodded. Lilith sniffed Mike's nose through the bars and he scrunched it, laughing slightly.

"Let's go guys, mom is making meatloaf tonight and I promised I would help." Nancy spoke, they nodded and Jana avoided eye contact with Steve out of anger as they left.

Once they got there, Jana and Mike walked down to the basement.

"This is were you'll be sleeping I guess." Mike said as Jana sat down with Lilith in front of her, she opened the cage and pulled Lilith out, looking at her. Mike looked at her and Jana rolled her eyes.

"Don't look at me." She muttered. He nodded.

"I just wanted to hold..." He said, pointing at Lilith.

"Lilith?" She asked, Mike nodded slightly and Jana sighed, standing up. "Here you go, but be careful with her. She hates being held a certain way."

"So, have you met a Lucas?" He asked out of the blue as she set her in his hands. Jana looked at him confused.

"Yeah, you Dustin?" She asked, he shook his head "oh, so your Mike."

"He talked about us? But I thought you only met once?" Mike asked. Jana rolled her eyes.

"What? Did he tell you everything a complete stranger and him talked about? Besides I saw him again in that weird radio room in the hospital" Jana said nonchalantly, Mike nodded simply.

"So you're Steve's sister?" Mike asked, trying to create small talk so he could hold Lilith longer. Jana nodded.

"Foster." She answered. "No more questions."

Mike's eyes widened for a second as he gave Lilith back and he nodded.

"MIKE! YOUR FRIENDS ARE HERE" Nancy yelled and Mike smiled as he ran  up the stairs.
