Jana held her arm as she walked into the hospital. She knew this wasn't where you would normally go for something as simple as a hurt arm, but at the time, she didn't want to wait, and she wasn't one prone to.

The doctor she walked up to looked at her confused, raising his eyebrow and glancing at her cradled arm.

"What happened here little lady?" He asked, being as kind as possible, despite the confusion. She smiled almost fakely.

"I fell off my skateboard and needed it checked out right away." She stated, she knew there was going to be protesting, but to her surprise he simply nodded and lightly took a hold of her arm, looking it over.

"Well let's see, it's obviously not broken, but there's a terrible cut. We just have to have it cleaned and bandaged and your good to go." The doctor said kindly, gesturing for her to follow. She obliged and did just that as she was guided to what looked like his office where he sat down and pulled out some supplies.

Elsewhere in the hospital, Lucas and the boys had just gotten done telling their now awake friend Will about Eleven, and were being ushered out so he could get some more rest. They smiled happily, just glad he was alive and stopped where others sat down, waiting. Karen walked up to Mike an enveloped him in a hug. Along with Dustin's mom and Lucas's parents.

"We're just gonna stay for a bit and talk to Joyce" Karen said, as Lucas's father sat down next to Ted. "I mentioned to the Doctor your guy's AV club and he has a surprise for you guys, just go ask the lady at the front desk and she'll take you to it."

Lucas, Dustin and Mike shared looks and immediately bolted. Jana had just been bandaged and was being questioned on who she was, like all patients there. The doctor ushered her out the door. She was confused on why she didn't have to pay and stood in the hallway, looking at her bandaged arm when a body ran into hers. She staggered slightly, looking up in anger and the boy quickly apologized. The boy being Lucas, though she didn't know it.

"watch it next time. There's people here in worse shape then me ya know?" She snapped. He held his hands up.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. Just got excited." He stated, holding his hands up again. She looked at him confused.

"You were excited in a hospital?" She asked. He nodded simply, finding her interesting and relaxing. She seemed really sarcastic, like him.

Dustin and Mike were already gone, so it was just them. She still had her arms crossed.

"What is your name?" He asked, looking at her. She raised her eyebrow, wondering why he cared.

"Jana. Why?" She asked. He didn't answer and just held out his hand for her to shake. She looked at it.

"Lucas." He stated. She sighed and grabbed his hand, shaking it.

"Ok, Lucas. Be more careful next time yeah?" She asked. He nodded. And she walked past him, patting his shoulder and leaving. He turned around to look at her as Mike peeked his head around the corner.

"Lucas! Come on! This doctor has a whole set up!" Mike said, Lucas immediately knew what he was talking about and turned back around.

"Coming!" He said happily, quickly forgetting about his encounter with Jana and running after Mike, being careful to watch where he's going this time.
