Backstory:
Life for Evelyn Owens was full of lies, betrayal, and......murder. Being an assassin who seduces and kills abusive husbands and boyfriends has made her life turn upside down. Constantly moving, changing her name, and changing her looks, makes it hard for her to have a regular life with regular friends. Life soon gets the best of her and she does what she does best, she fights. But when her own past starts to come into play she wants to run because it all comes back to haunt her in the end...
Snippet:
"Hi, my name is Evelyn, but for this mission I'm going as Iris. I'm actually 32 but according my bosses and my new license I am 28. My long blonde hair has now been cut short into a dark brown bob. My blue eyes are now brown because of the colored contacts. There isn't much to know about me except one thing. I....am a murder."
I have already figured out that anyone outside of the USA will have to buy the book off of Amazon. I'm sorry for that but it is way too much to ship it myself or have you pay for it. It was $35 to ship to Canada and that was not including the price of the book. Anyone in the USA! You can also buy it on Amazon! But if you would like the book signed you have to buy it through me! Unless you buy it on Amazon and then ship it to me but that will just make you have to spend more money. Anyway I will let everyone know what the price is as soon as I figure it out myself!! I hope you guys will buy a copy! I have had a friend that has already read it and said it sounded like a twisted Boondock Saints! So I think all Norman Reedus/Daryl Dixon/Sean Patrick Flanery fans will enjoy it!!
Pulling another name out of the bowl!! Chapter 51 of LOTE is dedicated to.......@songbirdie I hope you enjoy this chapter! Remember commenting gets your name in the bowl for dedications and sneak peeks!!!
Sorry this author's note is so long but I have to get all that out!!!
Reedus kisses for everyone! Xxxxxxx
Here's the next chapter, Nords! Guess what time it is!!

Norman had started filming season six of Walking Dead which meant I was basically left at the house by myself. I was perfectly okay with it though because it gave me time to organize everything for the arrival of baby Brynlee which was getting closer.
I was a few days away from my due date and I could definitely feel it. Today though Mingus was also flying down here which I was excited for I missed him dearly. I was cleaning and organizing from top to bottom and making sure everything was perfect.
I wanted everything to be set so when Brynlee came all we had to do was come home and relax while enjoying our new arrival. I sighed as I sat back on the edge of the bed giving my legs and feet a break from being on them. Brynlee kicked and I chuckled while rubbing my stomach.
"Almost time, baby just stay in there for a couple more days," I told her while continuing to rub my belly. My phone started ringing and I picked it up seeing Stacey's face flash across the screen. I smiled and answered it quickly while getting off the bed.
"Hey babe!" I said while starting to grab some clothes. I was planning on taking a shower but now I was excited to get to talk to Stacey. "What's up?" she asked me. I smiled and looked over at the crib that was in the corner of mine and Norman's room.
"Just getting ready for baby," I told her. Stacey sighed. "Yeah, it's any day now, right?" she asked. I felt my smile grow even more. "Yep! I'm due in a couple days! Mingus is flying in today," I said. Stacey let out a small cheer. "I bet you're excited," she said.
I sighed and sat on the edge of the bed again. "Yeah, I've definitely missed having him around. I know Norman has too, but I also know Mingus is going to be a big help when Brynlee gets here," I said. I heard an overhead announcement on Stacey's end but I couldn't catch what it said.
"What was that?" I asked Stacey. She chuckled. "What if I told you I was about to board a flight and I'll be there with you in a few hours," she said. I squealed. "Are you serious?" I asked her hoping that she wasn't playing some cruel joke on me. She chuckled again.
"Absolutely! I actually have to go. Last call for my flight!" she exclaimed. I squealed again. "Yay! Okay, see you soon," I said. We hung up and then I headed for the shower knowing that I needed it after all the cleaning I had done around the house.
I sighed when the hot water hit my back. It relaxed my muscles and I let my head fall forward as the water hit my neck. I sighed as I shampooed my hair. I felt another kick but it was harder this time. "Jesus child calm down," I grumbled as I rinsed the shampoo out.
I felt it again as I worked the conditioner in my hair. I ignored it and continued to shower before I felt it again. I placed a hand on my stomach and rubbed it gently where I felt the kick. "Someone's a little excited today, aren't we?" I asked rhetorically.
I felt a wave of pain hit me that sent me leaning against the shower wall. Then I felt a pop and fluid come out of me. "Holy shit," I breathed knowing exactly what that was. I shut the water off and grabbed a towel before slowly stepping out of the shower.
My legs shook a little and I could feel my heart beat speed up. I was alone. "Okay, breathe, just calm down," I told myself. I put on my undergarments as quick as possible before grabbing a shirt and a pair of sweat capris. I picked up my phone and dialed my mom.
She answered on the second ring. "Hello dear," she said. I breathed a sigh of relief and sat on the bed trying to calm myself. "What are you doing?" I asked her trying to keep myself and my voice calm. "Well daddy and I are actually on the way over to see you," she said.
I breathed another sigh of relief. "Great, perfect timing," I thought. I chuckled a little. "Well you may want to drive a little faster," I said. My mother chuckled a little. "Well you know your father doesn't like..," her voice trailed off before she shrieked a little and I heard my father grumble.
"Honey! Step on it! Mandy's in labor!" she exclaimed. I chuckled again but quickly groaned and clutched my stomach feeling another contraction coming on. "Yeah hurrying would be nice," I said softly. I could hear my mother gasp a little from the other end.
"Are you okay?" she asked me. I sighed and slid on my shoes. "I'm fine I just need a hospital, and my boyfriend," I said. My mother chuckled. "We're almost there, just stay calm," she said. I nodded and grabbed the bag that had some clothes in it for me and Brynlee.
I heard the front door open and I knew it was my mom. I quickly hung up and tried to walk through the house. "Honey!" my mom called out. I tried to call out but another contraction hit me at that point and I groaned while dropping the bag to hold my stomach.
My mother was instantly by my side and started walking me out towards my jeep which was all prepared with the doors and roof back on with Brynlee's car seat strapped in the back of it. I handed the keys to my mother after she helped me in the passenger seat.
I grabbed my phone from my bag and quickly dialed Norman's number. Ring.....ring.........ring....ring. "Hey, you reached Nor-," I quickly hung up knowing that he wasn't going to answer. His phone was most likely in his trailer and he was out filming.
I quickly scrolled through my contacts knowing exactly who to call. "Greg," I breathed when I heard the 'Hello' on the other end. We had exchanged numbers after a few months of getting to know each other since he was really close to Norman and they talked and hung out often.
Right now, Greg was my best friend. "What's up?" he asked. I knew they were probably in the middle of filming and he was most likely busy but this was an emergency. "Please tell me Norman's somewhere around you," I said while trying to not think about the pain.
He chuckled. "Yeah, he's filming a scene right now. I stepped away to take your call," he said. "Dammit," I cursed looking out of the corner of my eye at my mother. She didn't even seem to mind that I just cussed she had a huge smile on her face.
"Yeah what's wro- oh shit, just a second," I heard his feet hitting the ground quickly. "Cut!" I heard him yell. I had to pull the phone away from my ear a little bit. Good thing he was the zombie director or somebody would have been really mad at him for doing that.
"Emergency," I heard him say to somebody. "Norman!" I heard him call out. I sighed a little knowing that he would come running. I heard the phone being passed around. "Baby," Norman said softly. I chuckled not knowing if he meant me or the actual baby.
"Hi," I said. Norman let out a breath. "Are you okay?" he asked me. I bit my lip. "Yeah, we're on our way to the hospital right now. I'm just a little worried," I said softly. Norman sighed. "Don't be scared. I'm leaving right now, I promise," he said.
I smiled wondering how his boss would take it about him leaving in the middle of filming when they had a deadline to meet. "If you have to stay for filming then stay I don't want your boss mad," I said. Norman chuckled. "Are you kidding? They know what's going on," he told me.
"Alright, I just don't want you losing your job," I said. Norman chuckled again. "Trust me, they completely understand," I nodded. "Alright, well I'll see you there," I said now a little relieved. "Hey," Norman said. "Hm?" I answered. I could hear the smile in his voice. "I love you," he said softly. I couldn't fight the smile on my face. "Yeah, I love you too."
~~
I was now sitting in the hospital bed sort of relaxed. I was still fighting the contractions. I wanted to try the birth naturally but since there were possible complications that Dr. Smith and Dr. James had told me about now Dr. Scott was convincing me to get an epidural.
"Do you know where your baby's father is?" she asked me. I chuckled and nodded. "Yeah, my boyfriend, hopefully he's on his way," I said trying to keep the worry out of my voice. My mother squeezed my hand obviously knowing how I was feeling.
"He'll be here," she said softly. We had been settled in here for about an hour and Norman still had yet to show. I didn't even know where he was filming today and how far he could actually be away from the hospital that we had set up for me to deliver in.
As if right on cue Norman burst through the door, but he didn't look like Norman. He had on a plaid shirt that had the sleeves cut off with a pair of jeans that had holes in them. His hair looked greasy, his arms and one of his cheeks was covered in blood and his left eye was black.
My eyes became wide as I seen him. "It was the only way I could get here on time," he explained slightly out of breath as his walked towards me with his hands up as if he was saying he was innocent. When he was in my reach I placed my hand lightly on his cheek and ran my thumb under his black eye. He smiled a little and leaned into my touch.
"It's just makeup," he said softly. I pulled him towards me and connected his lips to mine. One of his sticky hands rested on the base of my neck while the other rested lightly on my stomach. I didn't care if I ended up covered in fake blood I was just happy that he was here.
"Mr. Reedus," we heard a voice say that caused us to break apart. Dr. Scott was standing just inside our room. She chuckled when she saw him. "I will tell you in all my years this is a first," she said. Norman chuckled and ran a hand through his hair.
"We actually have some showers on this floor if you would like to use one," she said. Norman looked back at me and I could see the concern in his eyes before he looked back to look at Dr. Scott. "Don't worry, I can promise you that she won't be pushing that baby out while you're in the shower."
Norman looked back at me and bent down. He kissed me on the forehead before bending down and kissing my belly. I giggled as he squeezed my hand before grabbing his bag from the floor and following Dr. Scott out the door. I sighed happily and leaned back on the pillow.
~~
"You're making progress. It's time to start pushing," Dr. Scott said. I felt the wave of nervousness. Norman instantly grabbed my hand and I looked up at him. His hair was still slightly wet from his shower but he definitely looked 10 times better than what he did before.
"Where's Mingus?" I asked him trying to keep my mind distracted as Dr. Scott and her nurses worked around me. My mother rubbed my arm. "Trust me you don't want him in here," I shook my head. "No, I know that, but he was flying in today," I said.
Norman squeezed my hand. "It's okay, I have someone picking him up and then he'll be here," Norman said. I nodded and squeezed his hand as I felt pressure. I felt bad but he didn't seem to mind. Norman ran his fingers through my hair and I tried to focus on his touch.
"Alright ready?" Dr. Scott asked me as she stood at the bottom of the bed. I gave her a small nod. To say that the delivery process was painful even with an epidural that was an understatement. It seemed like all the pain and pressure just shifted below and I wanted to cry.
We were about 20 minutes into pushing and I felt like we weren't making any progress but according to Dr. Scott I was. She kept telling me that the head and the shoulders was the worst part but after that it was all smooth sailing. I was having a hard time believing her.
"Keeping pushing," she said. I breathed harshly through my nose. "I can't, I can't," I cried. Norman crouched down, his face was instantly level with mine. "I know for a fact that you can do anything," he said. "Think of how beautiful she's going to be, think of how she wants to meet her mommy and daddy so badly that she decided to come a couple days early."
I let out a laugh before another wave of pain him me. I gritted my teeth and started pushing again, yelling all the while. I could hear some form of encouraging words from my mom and Norman. My dad was saying something, but above all, I could hear Norman through my screams.
"You're almost done babe. You're doing so good, I'm so proud of you." Again I pushed and squeezed Norman's hand so hard his knuckles turned white. Then I felt a different kind a pain. A tearing feeling and then...a cry. The most beautiful sound I had ever heard in my life.
I looked forward and saw my daughter, the most beautiful little girl in the world. In that moment nothing else mattered, there was nobody else there. I instinctively reached my arms out to hold her and one of the nurses placed her gently in my arms.
I stared in awe of her big blue eyes as she looked up at me and instantly stopped crying. Norman's hand slid up to cup my cheek as he pressed his lips to mine. We kissed slow and lovingly for a moment before I pulled back and sighed happily. I felt Norman's arm go around my shoulders.
I laid my head on his shoulder. I let out another sigh of contentment as I closed my eyes. I felt him grin against my hair. "I suppose a 'thank you' is an inappropriate thing to give you right now?" he asked and I let out a small laugh causing him to laugh too.
"You bet, but it's a start, I supposed. I just gave birth to your kid in under four hours. A 'thank you' is the last thing I want from you," I smiled and turned my gaze up to him to see him already looking down at me. "But I will take an 'I love you'."
Norman returned my smile with one of his own as he leaned down slightly to kiss me again. My lips automatically molded to his as his hand slid into my hair to cup my head gently. When we pulled back Norman pressed his forehead to mine and I could see the tears of happiness in his eyes.
I smiled and he kissed me lightly on the forehead before reaching his arms out to hold his little girl. I smiled as I watched him gaze at her lovingly as he reached up quickly to wipe away a tear that slipped. "Hi, baby girl. I'm your daddy and I love you so much," he whispered softly causing tears to prick my eyes. Looking at him holding our daughter, I felt happier than I had in my entire life, thinking about our future as a family.
