"Pregnant?" Mingus asked slowly as we were sitting around the dinner table. I could feel myself holding my breath slightly. I didn't know how he was going to take this, but I was hoping that he would be at least a little bit happy about it. Norman's arm snaked around my waist.

I was so nervous as I watched Mingus take it all in. Norman's thumb was rubbing slow soothing circles on my hip. He could tell I was nervous, which I secretly think that he was too. I clamped my hands together in my lap to try and stop them from shaking.

"FINALLY! I mean, come on Dad, I wanna be the good looking older brother while I'm still young," Norman and I looked at each other, both of us cocking an eyebrow amusingly, before we both started cracking up laughing along with Mingus.

I removed Norman's arm from around me and walked around the table to Mingus. I wrapped my arms around him and couldn't contain the smile that came across my face when he wrapped his arms around me in return. I sighed and kissed his forehead before pulling back.

"Thanks buddy," I said. Mingus chuckled. "What are you thanking me for? I'm getting a sibling!" he said excitedly. Norman was already clearing the dishes from tonight's dinner. "Alright, you sit down and relax. Dad and I can clean up," I chuckled.

"Mingus, I'm not helpless. I can still get up and move," Mingus shook his head. "Not on my watch, you go relax," Norman popped his head out of the kitchen. "He's right. Go sit and relax," Norman said. I rolled my eyes at the both of them before heading towards the couch.

"Why do I have a feeling that you both are going to team up on me during this whole pregnancy?" I heard both of them chuckling as I settled on the couch and propped my feet up. Eye came and jumped up beside me before curling up at my feet.

"Should we watch a movie?" Norman asked coming into the living room. Mingus was right on his heels. I sat up a little and Norman slid in behind me before wrapping his arm around my waist and letting his hand settle over my stomach. I sighed and snuggled into him more.

Mingus popped in a movie and joined us on the couch. I reached up and ran my fingers lightly through his hair before propping my feet up on him, which this time he didn't seem to mind. "Did you pick another scary movie?" I asked Mingus. He just gave me a mischievous grin.

Mingus had ended up falling asleep halfway through the movie. He had started school a couple weeks ago and having to wake up early had always been rough for him. He was definitely like Norman when it came to being a morning person. He didn't like it but he didn't hate it either.

Norman's head was resting on his arm which was resting on the arm of the couch. "I'm not carrying him," Norman mumbled. I chuckled thinking about the first time he told me that. I sat up slowly and placed a hand on Mingus's shoulder rubbing it lightly.

"Mingus," he groaned a little. "Hey, bud, come on, let's go to bed," Mingus yawned before slowly getting up and shuffling back towards his bedroom. Norman stood up and offered his hands to me which I gladly took and Norman pulled me up gently.

We walked into Mingus's room to see him already fast asleep in his bed. I smiled slightly before pulling the blankets over him more and heading towards the door. Norman shut off his light and shut his door as we walked out to head towards our room.

I headed towards our dresser that was at the foot of our bed to get some pajamas. I pulled out a pair and stripped off my pants and started stripping my shirt when I felt Norman's hands on my waist. I pulled my shirt the rest of the way off before looking at him.

"What?" I asked him. I was standing here in my bra and underwear and I could feel the chills from the cool air hitting my body making goose bumps rise on my skin. Norman pulled me gently by my hips towards him. I brought my hand up and ran my fingers through his hair.

Norman pressed his left ear against my stomach and sighed a little. I ran my fingers down the back of his head and let my fingers play with the hair at the base of his neck. He needed a haircut, but because of filming he wasn't allowed to cut it besides a simple trim.

Norman shifted a little and I felt his lips on my stomach. He left light kisses all over my stomach before working his way up. I bent down slightly and sighed as his lips connected with mine. I pushed Norman back lightly on the bed and he pulled me with him.

"Thank you," Norman mumbled between kisses. I was slightly confused. "For what?" I asked between kisses in return. Norman's hands slowly slid around to my stomach and I got what he meant after that. I rolled off of Norman and got off the bed.

I quickly put my pajamas on and Norman went to change as well. I was already in bed and under the covers by the time he had changed and got in bed beside me. I rolled over on my side and snuggled into Norman's side as his arm snaked around my waist.

His hand slipped under my shirt and rested over my stomach. I sighed and let my hand rest over his heart as his fingers ran lazily over my stomach. Norman kissed my forehead lightly. "You're so perfect," Norman mumbled against my skin. I chuckled.

"I thought we've been over this?" I asked him rhetorically. Norman kissed my forehead again. "We have, but because of this," Norman stopped and pressed his hand a little harder onto my stomach before resuming to lazily run his fingers across it.

It fell silent after that, almost like Norman didn't know what to say. I tucked my face into the crook of his neck and kissed his throat lightly. Norman sighed and let his head rest against mine. "When's your next appointment?" Norman asked me quietly.

I shrugged slightly. "The doctor told me to call in and schedule one. I figured I would call tomorrow," I said. Norman nodded. "Good, I'll make sure I'm free," he said. I sighed a little. "I'm not expecting you to be there through everything," I said.

I rose up so I could look at Norman better. "But I want to be and I will be," he said softly. I smiled and ran my down his bare chest lightly. "And I love you for that, but I don't want you skipping conventions and blowing off fans just because I'm pregnant," I said.

One of Norman's hands pressed into my back while the other stayed on my stomach. "Oh well, I want to be there for you. You'll have to get used to it," I chuckled and ran my hand across his cheek feeling his scruff. Norman leaned into my hand slightly.

"I am used to it, but you also have fans that I don't want hating me because I've taken you away from them," Norman shrugged. "I love my fans, but if they act like that then I don't want them as fans. They'll still like me even if I take time off for you," he said.

I sighed and let my head rest on his chest again. I didn't want his fans to be mad at me, though I did want him around. I wanted him around for all the appointments he could possibly make, but more importantly I wanted him to be around for our child.

I didn't want our child just to see pictures of him and wonder where he was though he was around and just constantly working. I kissed Norman's chest before working my way up and kissed his lips lightly. Norman ran his fingers through my hair.

"I don't want you working at the bar anymore," Norman said searching my eyes. I bit my lip before nodding. "I have to break the news to Jordan though," I said. Norman nodded slightly. "I think he'll understand though and most likely agree with me."

I rolled my eyes at him. "Of course he would, but I also don't want to be around a bunch of crazy drunks while being pregnant. I wouldn't feel very safe," I said. Norman nodded slightly before kissing me lightly once more. I settled my head back on his chest.

"I love you," Norman whispered softly in my ear. I couldn't contain the smile that came across my face at that point hearing those words. It was still something I was going to have to get used to. I reached up and squeezed Norman's hand lightly. "Yeah, I love you too."
