"I can't wait to see you!"

"I know! Can't wait ;)"

"How's Mingus?"

"You don't know how bad I miss you..."

"I can't remember the last time I felt like this."

"I miss you :("

"You're never going to believe this.."

"I can't do anything about it! I'm not there!"

"I'm sorry.."

A lot can happen in three months. Relationships grow apart, your friends that you thought you had turn on you, and most of all you miss the people most dear to you. Helena and I had gotten in a huge fight over Mingus one day and it didn't turn out too pretty.

It resulted in her calling Norman and then Norman calling me. I couldn't tell who he was madder at me or Helena. I personally believe that it wasn't my fault. Helena was upset because Mingus wanted to hang out with me instead of going to some red carpet event.

She got mad because I told her I didn't care if he stayed with me. Apparently she really wanted him to go and by me telling her I didn't care if he stayed basically gave him more of the nudge to tell his mom no. I didn't mean anything by it. If he didn't want to go he didn't want to go, right?

Helena ended up calling Norman telling him that I was trying to take her son away. Norman called me and started telling me that he was sorry but that 'sorry' turned into an argument started by me. I told him it wasn't my fault that Mingus didn't want to go to the event but apparently it was a regular thing for him to go with his parents.

When I tried to explain to him that Mingus didn't want to go he told me that Mingus usually didn't but they made him go anyway. I found myself no longer arguing after that. How was I supposed to know? No one ever told me anything like that.

On top of that the paparazzi had started figuring out things about me. Everywhere I seemed to go I found at least one of them trying to sneak a shot of me. A lot of girls seemed to be recognizing me on the street. They were all respectful and asked me a ton of questions about Norman. I only had a couple that were a little rude but I didn't let it bother me.

Jordan seemed to be keeping his distance from me for whatever reason and Morgan didn't even talk to me anymore. Who knew what her problem was. The only true friends I had left were Stacey and Lyndi and I missed them terribly. I missed Norman terribly...

I was currently on a plane headed to Atlanta, Georgia where I would be staying with my parents and grandparents for almost two weeks. This was something I did every year. Norman and I hadn't spoken to each other since the Helena incident. That was almost two weeks ago.

It felt weird not talking to him every chance he got. I didn't have a clue what he was doing anymore but I wish I did. My flight landed and I stood up stretching while grabbing my backpack and slinging it over my shoulder. I pulled my hat lower over my eyes and slid on my sunglasses.

When I walked into the airport everyone was buzzing by me, not really caring if they bumped into me or not. I looked around until I spotted my mom by the window looking out of it. I quickly made my way over to her and engulfed her in a hug from behind.

She quickly turned around and wrapped her arms around me. "I have missed you so much," my mom said and I couldn't help but smile at the familiar southern drawl. I knew mine would be coming out once I got around my family. I squeezed her a little before pulling back.

"I've missed you too, mom," she linked her arm with mine and we started heading through the busy airport to get my bags. As we were waiting on my bags something caught my eye. I barely looked up and saw the few paparazzi just hanging out acting like they were doing nothing wrong.

"We need to hurry and get out of here," I grumbled to my mom hoping that I didn't have to speak any louder. She looked over at me and I nodded towards the guys with cameras. I could tell that she didn't understand but we hurried and grabbed my bags and we headed towards her car.

~~

I was now in my parent's house enjoying the somewhat peace and quiet. My parents were down stairs currently making dinner and my grandparents were on their way here. I honestly didn't want to be around anyone tonight. Getting down here just made me think about Norman.

There was only one person that could really solve this....Lyndi. She had sent me a photo of her and Norman together. I pulled out my phone and pulled up the photo. She had gone down to the set one day close to where she lives. Norman was leaving and stopped to sign for some of the fans that were waiting down the road just to catch a glimpse of some action.

I ran my thumb over the photo before quickly shoving my phone in my pocket. I looked in the mirror and ran my hand through my hair. I grabbed my keys and ran down the stairs practically running into my dad. "Sorry, daddy," I said while kissing his cheek.

"Where are you going?" he asked. I quickly put on my shoes. "I'm going to see Lyndi! Sorry! Don't wait up," I walked out the door without letting him answer. I walked over to my open jeep and jumped in. "Oh how I have missed you," I mumbled to the jeep while starting it.

I turned on the radio as I pulled out of the driveway. It would take maybe 20 minutes to get to Lyndi's house. As I was driving a guy on a motorcycle passed me and I felt myself frown thinking about Norman. I shook my head and cranked the music louder.

Before I knew it I was turning into Lyndi's driveway. I turned off the music but I didn't bother shutting off the jeep. I hopped up the steps and knocked on the front door impatiently. Lyndi opened the door and she was in sweatpants. I quickly turned her around.

"Go get dressed we're going to the bar!" I said while pushing her to her room. "Hi Mrs. S," I greeted her mother while walking through the kitchen. When we reached Lyndi's room she turned around and hugged me. "It's nice to see you too," she said after she pulled back and started digging through her closet.

She quickly changed and we headed out the door. "So how have you been?" she asked while letting her hand move through the air. I shrugged a little and felt myself biting my lip nervously. "I've seen better days," I said and it fell silent between us again.

~~

Going to the bar I expected to run into some old friends but not as many as I saw tonight. We were all outside around Shawn's truck drinking. It was way too nosey inside trying to catch up and talk over everyone else that was in there. It seemed to be really busy tonight which shocked me because I had never seen it that busy before.

Shawn's brother Jamie had now pulled out a guitar from the truck bed and hopped up beside me before he started singing drunkenly. Some of us were laughing and some of us were trying to get him to shut up. Shawn finally wrestled the guitar from him and pushed him off the tailgate.

Shawn took his place and started strumming a familiar tune. I instantly recognized it as Jason Mraz's 'I Won't Give Up.' I sighed listening to the music a little bit before I couldn't handle it. I finished the rest of my beer before jumping off the tailgate and heading around the corner.

Lyndi gave me a concerned look but I shook my head and gave her a small smile letting her know I was fine. Truthfully I wasn't. I had been in a slump since I got here. I thought the bar would help but it honestly didn't. It just made it worse. I sighed and leaned against the wall.

I felt like someone had been watching me all night and it was starting to freak me out. I pulled a pack of cigarettes out of my pocket along with a lighter. I wasn't much of a smoker but it seemed like lately I had majorly picked up the bad habit which probably wasn't the best idea.

I flicked the lighter and got nothing but a spark. I flicked it again and again and again and again....nothing. "Dammit," I cursed while throwing the lightly on the ground. Suddenly a zippo lighter was in front of my face and it was lighting my cigarette.

I inhaled a little before blowing out some smoke and watching the zippo close. I went to thank the person before I recognized something. I saw the familiar tattooed heart on the wrist. My eyes trailed up the bare arm and landed on familiar red ink 'Mingus.'

I sighed as my eyes continued to trail up and saw the little devil tattoo peeking out from under the short sleeve black shirt. Finally my eyes met his. Norman. I felt a small smile fighting its way onto my mouth but I held it back. Norman tucked the lighter back in his pocket.

It stayed silent between us as we both took puffs from our cigarettes. "When did you get in?" he asked finally breaking the silence between us. I felt my heartbeat speed up. It may sound strange but I had missed his voice. I blew out the smoke before answering.

"A few hours ago," I said while looking out in front of me trying to avoid his gaze that was burning on the side of my head. I dropped my gaze and watched as one of his familiar brown boots with mismatched laces stamped out the cigarette before crossing his arms.

"Why didn't you text me or call me when you got in?" he asked. I now stamped out my cigarette and mimicked his position. "I figured you would've been busy," I said with my voice trailing off. Now Norman sighed and ran a hand over his face and through his hair.

"Just admit you're avoiding me," he whispered. I felt myself biting my lip nervously and looking at the ground. "I'm not mad at you if that's what you think," he continued, "I believe that Helena overreacted a little and I had a long talk with her," he said.

I felt a breath escape my lips. "It's my fault too. I didn't know that's what you guys did," I said but Norman shook his head. "That's right. You didn't know therefore Helena shouldn't have gotten mad at you," he said. I now felt myself relaxing a little.

I finally looked over at Norman and his blue eyes locked with my green ones. "I'm sorry," I whispered and once again Norman shook his head. "You have nothing to be sorry about," he said. I ran a through my hair and bit my lip. Norman pushed himself off the wall so he could look at me better.

"I've missed you, beautiful," he said while bringing a hand up. He pushed a piece of hair out of my face before caressing my cheek. I felt myself closing my eyes and leaning into his touch. When I opened my eyes Norman's face was centimeters from mine and he had a playful smirk on his face.

I felt myself closing the distance between us and my lips lightly brushed his. His hand found the back of my neck and he deepened the kiss. I felt my knees buckling slightly and I was happy that I was still leaning against the wall. His other hand found my hip as mine found his hair.

"Mandy we're all heading out," Lyndi's familiar voice broke us apart. I turned to look at her and she had a playful smirk on her face. "I see you found lover boy," she said and I felt my face growing hot. Thank God it was dark outside. I felt myself wiping my lips.

"Yeah, just give me a couple minutes," I said. She nodded slightly and walked back around the corner. I felt myself sigh as Norman leaned towards me. "I should really go," I mumbled against his lips. Norman moaned slightly. "I haven't seen you in three months and you just want to ditch me?" Norman asked between kisses.

I felt myself chuckle in the kiss which caused Norman to moan again. I pulled back and rested my forehead against his. "I really need to go and I'm pretty sure you do too," I said. Norman kissed me once more before pulling back fully and pulling me off the wall.

We walked back around the corner and I noticed that my jeep was the only car left in the parking lot besides a motorcycle. I felt myself gasping slightly. "That yours?" I asked Norman. He nodded slightly. "I passed you today, I know," Norman said.

I felt myself smiling a little as he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me into him. "Don't be a stranger, okay?" Norman said while kissing me on top of the head. My smile grew as I wrapped my arm around his waist and squeezed him lightly.

"I guess I'll see you later," I said. Norman nodded. "You will," he said. He leaned down and kissed me one last time before opening my door and helping me inside. He leaned against the door and smiled before tapping the side of the jeep and walking to his motorcycle.
