I clicked a couple other links as I walked back towards my bedroom for more privacy. More titles popped up like 'Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus' 'Norman Reedus Interview' and 'Boondock Saints Panel.' The thing that threw me off was that all of these videos were dated to a couple years back.

I sighed as I shut my bedroom door and sat back on my bed. I clicked Morgan's name and listened as it started ringing. I heard a scuffle and then Morgan's voice. "Hello darling!" I heard her cheery voice on the other end. I sighed again before answering.

"Hey Morgan," I said trying to sound a little bit happy but it wasn't really working. It was silent for a few seconds. "Mandy, what's wrong?" she asked. I ran a hand through my hair. "I needed to talk to you about something," I said. I heard movement on Morgan's end like she was sitting down.

"What about?" she asked. I chewed on the inside of my cheek nervously trying to figure out how to bring this up. "Morgan, why do you keep sending me all these links? You always have but it's always been something that pops up and scares the shit out of me. Now it's interviews and videos of Norman and other people. What's that all about?" I asked.

I heard her sigh. "Did you even watch them?" she asked. I felt myself shaking my head even though she couldn't see me. "No I haven't because I don't understand the point in them," I said. She sighed again. "Maybe you should watch them, Mandy."

I ran my hand through my hair again. "Why? What's the point? I saw the dates on them and they are all dated back two years ago or more. What's the point in watching them?" I asked. It was silent and I was waiting on Morgan to answer but she suddenly seemed nervous.

"I just...I figured you would want to know more about Norman seeing as you barely knew anything about him and now you're dating him," she said her voice slightly trailing off. I bit my tongue and I felt my blood boil. She couldn't be serious could she?

"....Seriously," it came out more as a comment than a question. I heard her sigh once more. "Seriously," she stated simply. I felt my hand clutch the blankets from my bed as my teeth clenched. "You're kidding, right?" I asked hoping this was some sort of joke.

"No, I'm not kidding. I just figured you would want to know more about him. The videos are of him talking about his life and stories from people he's worked with," she said. I groaned. "If I wanted to know more about him I would ask him! I can't believe you sent those to me for that reason," I said trying to keep myself from yelling but I could hear the hatred spitting from my voice.

"I just figured you would want to know what's going on in his life!" Morgan retorted back and I could hear her tone getting a little harsher. I felt myself laugh sarcastically. "If I wanted to know more about him I would've started obsessing over him years ago with you, Stacey and Lyndi," I snapped back.

Morgan huffed a little. "I just figured you would want to know more about your boyfriend like the rest of us," I felt myself rolling my eye. "Like the rest of you? Did you forget you guys are fans? Put yourself in his shoes for a second. How would you feel if you started dating a guy and he automatically knew everything about you without evening having to ask. How would you feel?" I asked her sort of rhetorically.

"I guess I would be sort of creeped out by it," she whispered. I felt myself calming down slightly. "Exactly. Morgan I don't think you understand. I still and always will look at him like he's just a normal guy trying to live his life. He's a father and a damn good one at that and that's how I see him," I ran a hand over my face and groaned.

"I don't care what movie he's been in or what celebrities he's met or how much money he makes. None of that matters to me. What matters to me is how he treats me and more importantly how he treats his son. To me he's just Norman Reedus, father, who lives two doors down from me.

"I never knew you felt that way about him," she whispered. I chuckled slightly. "You've never asked. I never obsessed about him before, why would I start now? I mean I know he's flattered by all the fan girls but I don't want to scare him off," I said. This time Morgan chuckled.

"I'm sorry," she said. I sighed a little. "It's okay. There's nothing to apologize about just don't send me anymore links. Stay out of my love life. If I want to know something about him, I'll ask him personally," I said the last part with a teasing tone in my voice.

Morgan chuckled again. "So are we cool?" she asked. I felt my eyes rolling. "We're fine, Morgan," she sighed a little and I knew a smile was coming across her face. "Alright, good, then I'll talk to you later," she said. I smiled a little. "Okay, Morgan, see ya," and then I hung up.

I ran a hand through my hair and groaned out of frustration as I tugged on it lightly. I slipped my phone in my pocket and stood up. I wanted to get back to Norman and Mingus. I was looking at the ground as I opened my bedroom door and I was instantly met by a pair of brown boots with mismatched shoelaces. I let my eyes trail up his body.

"Nosey, how long have you been standing there?" I asked him while leaning against the door. He cracked a slight smile. "Long enough," I bit my lip nervously thinking about the conversation I had just had with Morgan. Norman pushed me lightly back in my room and kicked the door shut with his foot.

He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me flush against his body. I felt myself relax and breathe in his scent. "God, you're perfect," he whispered. I couldn't stop the laugh that escaped my lips. "I'm not even close," I said. Norman pushed me back on my bed and fell on top of me.

"How much did you hear?" I asked him still nervous about it. Norman started kissing my neck as his hands ran up and down my sides. "Enough," he mumbled against my neck. I wrapped my arms around his neck and ran my hands through his hair.

He pulled back a little to look at me. "You okay?" he asked. I nodded slightly. "Yeah, I just wish my friends would understand I'm not an obsessive fan girl like them and I could care less if you were famous or not," I watched as Norman cringed at the word 'famous.'

"Sue me," I whispered causing him to smile. He bent down and kissed me lightly. I pulled back slightly. "Where's Mingus?" I asked my lips still pressed lightly against his. He kissed me again before answering. "He's sitting in the living room waiting on us," I cocked an eyebrow at him. "What are we going to do?" I asked him now curious.

He stood up from the bed and pulled me with him. "Actually we were just going to just walk around New York for the hell of it and kill some time. Maybe go to some local shops. Like I said just to kill some time," I smiled a little. "Well I haven't really gotten to see that much of New York so let's go," I said while tugging on his hand lightly.

We walked out into the living room to find Mingus slouched on the couch looking through his voice. "Hey bud, ready to go?" I asked. Mingus looked up and smiled. He quickly scrambled to throw his shoes back on and joined us as we walked out the front door.

~~

We definitely did kill time. We started walking around downtown New York around one in the afternoon and it was now roughly five and we were finishing up dinner at a local restaurant. Norman and Mingus were currently throwing small pieces of shredded napkin at each other.

It didn't seem like it had been almost three months since I had moved to New York. It honestly felt like I had been here all of my life and for once I truly felt happy. "Dad," I heard Mingus say pulling me out of my thoughts. I followed Mingus's line of vision to see four girls standing across the street from the outdoor restaurant.

I looked over at Norman who was now looking at the girls. I knew they were fans and they were too nervous to approach him or they didn't want to bug him while he was having dinner. Norman called for the check and paid the waitress and we stood up to leave.

I saw Norman steal another quick glance at the girls who were still across the street. "Go on," I nudged him slightly. He looked down at me and arched an eyebrow. "I know you want to go say hi and I know it will make their day," I said nudging him again.

He smiled a little and grabbed my hand and started walking across the street. I wasn't expecting him to drag me along with him. Mingus was stuck right to my side and his hand was clutched onto my jacket as we dodged the crazy New York traffic.

When we reached the other side I noticed how big the girls smile had become when we reached them. Norman squeezed my hand lightly and leaned over to ruffle Mingus's hair. He dropped my hand and closed the distance between him and the girls.

Mingus and I leaned against the wall as we watched Norman interact with the four girls. One of them was staring at Mingus and I while waiting for Norman and I gave her a small smile in return and she squealed. I had no clue what was such a big deal about me.

I watched Norman sign their things and take pictures with them. He gave each one of them a hug and started walking back towards Mingus and I. "Have a good night ladies," he said giving them a slight wave. Norman grabbed my hand and we walked back across the street.

I felt Mingus's hand on my jacket again and I slung my arm around him and squeezed him a little. I looked up at Norman who had a grin on his face. "What are you smiling about?" I asked him. Norman looked down at me and his smile grew which made me cock an eyebrow at him.

"What?" I asked him. Norman let go of my hand and brought it up to my hair. His fingers knotted in my hair and then he pulled me gently towards him. I smiled as I felt him press his lips to my forehead. "Those girls thought you were pretty," he said once he pulled back.

I felt my smile grow as I looked up at him. "Not that it matters if they like you or not but I thought it was sweet," I wrapped my arm around his waist and he continued to play with my hair as we made our way back to our apartments. Mingus seemed to be off in his own little world when I squeezed his shoulders and it made him jump slightly.

I chuckled as we arrived at our building and stepped inside. There was ringing in my ears from the sudden silence as we walked through the building to get to the elevator. I noticed Norman hit a different button. "Where are we going?" I asked him.

Norman smirked. "We're going to the roof," he said. I smirked back at him and looked down at my phone to see what time it was. "You got a hot date or something?" Norman asked teasingly. I felt myself chuckling lightly. "Actually I do. I should probably head out."

Right as I said that the doors opened on a different floor and I started stepping out as a joke. I felt a hand on my shoulder. "You think you're cute," Norman whispered in my hair as he pulled me back into him. An older woman stepped into the elevator and smiled at us.

"Ah, young love. I remember what that was like," I felt myself blush slightly as the elevator became awkwardly silent. The doors opened again and Norman pulled me out the elevator. Mingus was trailing right behind me. We walked up the small flight of stairs and Norman opened the door to the roof.

The cool air hit me first and I shivered slightly. We walked over to the edge of the roof and I gasped as I saw the sight before me. "This is beautiful," I said taking in all the lights and signs in front of me. I leaned against the railing and looked down below.

I felt Norman's arms snake around my waist and his body press against mine. "I love it up here," he whispered. I rested my hands over his and leaned back into him. I looked over to see Mingus standing a few feet away from us with his phone out most likely taking pictures.

I sighed a little as Norman pulled out his phone and held it out in front of us. He leaned forward a little and kissed my cheek. I felt myself smile a little as I saw the flash of his camera. Norman clicked a few buttons and I felt my phone buzz in my pocket.

"Mingus, come here," I said while holding my hand out to him. Mingus came and stood in front of me and I grabbed Norman's phone and held it out in front of all three of us. I took my hand and covered Mingus's face jokingly while Norman grabbed my cheek and came towards me with his tongue sticking out. I looked over at him as I snapped the picture.

I handed Norman's phone back to him and he chuckled lightly. "I think this photo describes us perfectly," he said and I felt my phone buzz again. Mingus was still standing in front of me. I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and pulled him into me.

Norman's hands found my hips and he rested his chin on top of my head. I sighed as Norman's thumbs rubbed my hips lightly and he kissed the back of my head. I played with Mingus's hair and this time he didn't seem to mind. He actually relaxed a little more. I sighed again.

"What are you thinking about?" Norman whispered to me. I leaned my head back on his shoulder so I could look at him. I brought a hand up and ran it through his hair before returning around Mingus's shoulder. "Just thinking about how happy I am," I whispered back. I felt Norman's hand on my chin as he pushed it towards him. He looked down at me and I saw his eyes shining before he brought his lips to mine.
