Alice Argent woke up, her heart pounding and touched her neck. What the hell? She looked at her Jack Russell beside her, scratching behind Icarus' ears. I need to tell Doctor P about it. Alice got up much to Icarus' displeasure and wondered how to explain what the dream was while getting changed into her usual uniform of black. It felt like a memory but not. Her mind went to the boy, Ricky and felt her heart break, she needed to find Ricky. She knocked on Doctor P's door and the door swung open.

"Alice! I was about to wake you. Meet our newest recruit, Ricky Crowley," Alice blinked at the dark haired boy and hid her recognition, at least she tried. "Do you know Ricky?" Ricky frowned at Alice, clearly not knowing her. Alice swallowed quickly.

"That's why I'm up, actually. I had a dream...A nightmare but it felt different...Like a memory but not like one," Alice described the dream...Except the fact she said that she loved Ricky. "Doctor P, my power can send memories to other people but...Could I send them back in time?" Doctor P sighed, resting his head on his hands.

"It's possible but it seems a bit out there," Ricky frowned at Alice but said nothing. "I'll get back to you later, can you show Ricky to Kyle's old room please?" Alice nodded, her heart racing and Ricky followed her to his new room.

"What didn't you tell Doctor P?" Alice didn't answer, not thinking about the fact she told this guy in the future...Would it be will tell or told? "I know there's something. I can tell, what is it? Please? I know it's about me." Alice decided to tell a half-truth.

"I didn't tell him that I died and that your name was my last word," Ricky frowned at her and she swallowed awkwardly. "And I said that I loved you after you died and just before I did." Ricky slowly nodded, clearing his throat and rubbing the back of his neck.

"Well then...This is awkward," Alice nodded before unlocking Kyle's old room which faced hers. "What happened to Kyle, then?" Alice smiled at the room, not wanting to look at Ricky.

"That's a sad one. He went to uni and got married," She glanced at Ricky to see a smile that made her heart race slightly. "I'll leave you to get settled in. I have to walk Icarus." Alice decided not to elaborate and went into her room but heard Ricky say something that made her smile a little.

"I'm so going to date you," She got Icarus ready for his walk and walked out right into Ricky. "Hey, Doctor P said you'd show me around the grounds...Is that okay?" Alice nodded and she could tell he wasn't telling the truth. "You know I'm lying, don't you?" Alice nodded again and gave him poop bags.

"You have to pick up his shit," Ricky nodded and went to pet Icarus. "He doesn't like anyone petting him unless it's me." Icarus let Ricky pet him and licked his hand. Ricky raised an eyebrow at her.

"He likes me petting him apparently as well," Alice shrugged, hiding her confusion as they went outside. "So you can send people memories?" She nodded as Icarus stopped to piss.

"And make them remember their worst memories and live their worst nightmare," Her mind went to the possible memory from the future. "I may have done it to myself." Ricky swallowed with a smile.

"Send me the memory," Alice blinked as they continued the walk Icarus tooting beside her. "Maybe it'll hurt less if you share it." Icarus sat as Alice turned to Ricky.

"Okay but I'm going to have to touch your head," She touched his forehead, imaging it like sending an email and closed her eyes. She felt the memory go to Ricky and opened her eyes, dropping her hand. "Well? Do you think it hurts less?" Ricky shook his head, tears in his eyes.

"I saw myself die...Why does it hurts so much to see myself die?" Alice hugged him and he hugged her back while Icarus got on his hind legs, setting his paws on Ricky's leg. "Did it hurt to feel yourself die? Or worse to see people you care about disappear?" Alice pulled out of the hug.

"It was worse to see people who I loved disappear," They continued the walk and Alice nudged Ricky with her shoulder. "So, what can you do?" Ricky smiled and became a blur going around every tree before picking up Icarus' shit.

"Not as cool as yours but it's something," Alice gave him a look and Icarus started to pull Alice back. "Is he okay?" Alice nodded as a male voice spoke.

"He just saw his second favourite person," Alex Argent, Alice's twin scratched Icarus under his chin. "How's my good boy? He being a good boy, eh?" Alice smiled at Ricky who looked very confused,

"This is my pain in the ass twin brother," Alex waved at Ricky, now rubbing Icarus' belly. "Alex, this is Ricky, the newbie...I need to show you something actually. A dream that isn't a dream I think." She touched Alex's head, sending the dream and Alex looked up, crying.

"Does Doctor P know?" She nodded and Alex hugged her after standing up. "We'll stop it from happening," Alice hugged him back while Ricky scratched Icarus behind his ears. "How's Ricky able to do that?" Alice shrugged before realising what he said.

"You had a dream, didn't you?" Alex nodded and Ricky raised an eyebrow at us. "Alex dreams the future. So...Is there a way we can win?" Alex shrugged, rubbing the back of his neck.

"I'll have to take a nap to check but unfortunately, I'm wide awake and can't nap," Alice made a fist and raised it questioningly. "Right in the jaw please." Alice did and her brother fell, unconscious.

"Can you carry him back?" Alice asked Ricky who nodded. "Go on then," Ricky picked up Alex and ran into the house and back again. "If Alex has seen it...Then we're doomed." Ricky frowned, picking up Icarus' shit.

"But if you sent it back to yourself, maybe you can change it and that's what you're trying to tell yourself," Alice smiled to herself, reaching for her notebook that was as always in her pocket. "You're going to write down exactly what happened and try to figure it out?" Alice nodded.

"With your help and Alex's when he wakes up." Alice didn't need either of their help but she wanted it...Especially Ricky's help.
