Paradise lost

I didn't reach the room. Just outside the room I got slammed into the wall by a pissed Katherine who was wondering what I was up to. "Are you moving in on Elijah as well now?"
"What?! Of course not; why would I?" It was a little hard to talk with her arm across my throat.
"Get off her!" Damon pushed her off me. "What the hell is going on?"
"You better put a tighter leach on her; she's moving on to the next one now!" she spat out and Damon looked surprised.
"Come on; I am not you, Katherine!" I was irate due to her accusation and marched out of there, leaving Damon to deal with his crazy ex. There was a bottle of burboun on the chest of drawers and I poured myself a glass and took a big gulp of the gold liquid that I really didn't like.
"What, are you two fighting over me now?" Damon entered the room with a smirk on his face.
I glared at him. "Actually, she thought I was moving in on Elijah," I snarled.
His smirk disappeared fast and changed into a glare instead. He pressed his lips together, turned and stormed off.
I growled. After walking round in the room for a few minutes, Elena came in. "Are you okay?"
"No!" I grunted. "I'm not okay." The worst thing was that I started to be sad instead of angry; I was not going to let that happen. I tore out my bag from the closet, threw it on the bed and started to shove my things in it, the little things I had unpacked these days. "I'm getting out of here!"
"Damon, get up here," Elena called.
I turned, sighed and glared at her; tell tale!
She left the room and I realised she had met him just outside the door. I heard there conversation "You don't have to be rude!" Elena snapped.
"Trust me; it's in the best interest of women everywhere," he snarled and stomped into the room. "What are you doing?"
"I'm getting out of here! It's obviously the best I can do." I kept going back and forth across the room to collect my things and take a gulp of the disgusting burboun.
Damon was just standing there with his lips pressed together and with a cold look in his eyes.
"Be useful, call a cab will you," I ordered.
"I will not!"
I knew this was getting out of hand, turning a little row into a fight, but I wasn't really in control anymore. I had to get out of here. "Thanks, I'll walk then!" I gulped the last of the foul liquid, grabbed my bag and walked right by him.
I didn't get far.
"If you wanna go, get out then!" He threw me over his shoulder and marched through the house and out the door.
Despite my anger, I was surprised that no one had come to see what was going on; they must have heard. I dropped my bag just outside the door but he kept his grip on me, carried me to his car and plopped me inside it. While he went to get my bag, I slammed the door opened and stomped out again. He threw my bag in the backseat and was of course standing in front of me before I had a chance to storm out to the road. "Did you think you could out-run me?" He spat out the words then lifted me over his shoulder and carried me once again over to the car and dropped me in the front seat.
By the time I grabbed the door handle he already sat in his seat and had the engine running. He sped out of the driveway and I had to hold myself not to fall into his lap when he took the corner.
"Are you crazy?!" I yelled at him. "You're gonna get me killed!"
"Well, I'm dead. Get over it!" He glared at me with eyes as ice-blue as ever, but kept speeding off.
I buckled up, crossed my arms and kept starring out the side window. "You're going the wrong way; I'm going to the hotel!" I disputed.
"Your hotel room is taken, remember?" He snapped.
I could feel my teeth grind together and I was breathing hard, but kept starring out the side window in silence. Damon didn't say anything either for a while. It didn't help a bit that he had the roof down; the air was seething with aggression.
"Fucking Lexi!" I finally yelled and Damon stared at me. "She's the one fucking with our heads," I kept shouting, and now my tears started to flow.
Oh hell!
Damon turned the car into a small road in to the forest.
"Oh no," I cried. "You are not taking me to your house!" I started hitting him on the arm.
He grabbed one of my arms with an iron grasp. "Stop that! If you make me drive of the road you are going to die," he shouted.
He speeded past the boom and up to the house where he skidded to a halt. Within three seconds he had lifted me out of the car over his shoulder. He was up the front stairs and in through the door with me pounding my fists on his back with no reaction at all. When he had kicked the door shut behind us, he put me down on the floor and held me by my shoulders in another iron grip. I knew I had no chance in hell to get away unless he let me.
We kept staring viciously at each other with the lips hard pressed together. His eyes were black and I was preparing for them to go into full vampire red.
That's when he pulled me to him and kissed me with all the aggression and frustration that had been building up all day. I put my hands in his hair and pulled him closer. Suddenly I had my legs wrapped around his hips and he was carrying me up the stairs and into the bedroom. I gasped when he ripped my clothes off and I tore his shirt, making the buttons fly all over the bedroom. Within seconds we were naked on the bed, still kissing ferociously.
That was the night he bit me.
I was not paying attention to anything but the indulgence of his body in and around me and how he made me feel. He kissed me down the neck while I arched my neck backwards and my arms sprawled out on the bed, gripping the sheets.
Suddenly I felt an agonizing pain in my neck and my hands flew to his head, pulling his hair trying to get him off me. Soon the pain started to faze into something completely different and I moaned zestfully. It was like all my other senses were heightened and I had never before experienced anything like it. The whole world seemed to stop existing; all that mattered was him, me and the pleasure.
I woke the next morning with my head on Damon's chest. Either he awoke at the same time or he was just waiting for me to come to life. He kissed my forehead. "My Emma," he mumbled. "I will not let you go."
I turned to face him and he kissed me on the lips, soft caring kisses nothing like the night before. That's when I realised something was wrong; I moaned.
"Oh sweetie, I'm sorry; I hurt you."
I turned around and saw that there was blood on the pillows and on the sheet. Why did I have to feel so sick at that smell? Not exactly the perfect vampire-girlfriend-material...
I moaned again and heard him apologise. In a whiff of air I suddenly sat outside on the porch swing wrapped in a blanket; two minutes later Damon walked out to me in his boxers.
"All taken care of." He kneeled in front of me. "I'm sorry I hurt you. Do you want me to heal you?" He looked real guilty.
"Aren't you scared I will O.D. on your blood?" I muttered sarcastically.
He sat up in the swing and pulled me into his arms. "I'm so sorry I hurt you, love. I just got so pissed off when you were about to leave me," he mumbled and I got exactly what he meant.
"Damn Lexi, screwing with our heads!" I snapped. "And thank you for not mentioning me among your 'fav girls' yesterday, by the way," I added sourly, glaring at him. "Stop flirting with Katherine and Elena."
"Yeah, I know I'm a jerk." He looked shameful. "One of them is over five hundred years, hardly a girl."
"Your words, not mine."
"Damn Lexi..."
"You're the one that brought her back." I pouted. "You deal with her."
We looked at each other intense for a while, but I let him wrap me in his arms and we snuggled close together again.
"I don't know why Lexi's words really ticked me off like that." Damon mumbled.
"I do; that's because all of this is totally unreal. This is just my fantasy and I'm gonna wake up any minute in my bed at home in Sweden. All of this will be over."
"Stop saying that! I know I did wrong yesterday, I was high on the way you made me feel, and even more high on your blood. I shouldn't have bitten you without your conscent, though." He apologised again. "Was it very painful?" He kept kissing me on the head and mumbled in my hair.
"Actually, not too bad." I shivered as I thought about how good it had felt the night before, and I could almost feel him do the same. "But, A; I don't want it to be like this between us, and B; I will not wear a scarf," I added acid. "I am not Andie."
A smile flickered over his face. "No you are absolutely not Andy, but my brother is going to give us hell if I take you back with bite marks... Could we stay here?"
"I'd love to stay, but I have a thing or two to talk to Lexi about..."
He chuckled. "Oh, I so want to be there when she shows up," I snickered and totally agreed.
"Well, then there's only one thing to do, my dear." He bit his wrist and offered it to me. "Breakfast?"
