It's been almost 9 years since Sabine found out she was pregnant.

She had an adorable baby girl.

Sabine and Ezra named her Mira Wren Bridger.

Kanan and Hera adored her.

Chopper was her favorite babysitter.

Mira was now 8 years old, and was growing up fast.

She was also force sensitive.

Sabine didn't want her to be trained. She wanted her daughter to know peace.

Ezra didn't fully agree, but he accepted it. He did also want Mira to have a normal life.

Mira always wanted a lightsaber like her dad, and was known to be upset about not being able to train.

Little did everyone know, that soon Mira was about to get her wish....

It was what seemed like a typical day. Ezra, Sabine, and Mira went into the town of Lothal to get some supplies.

"I'm going to go across to the fabric shop. I really want to make another dress for Mira." Sabine said.

Ezra smiled and handed her some credits.

She kissed his check and went across to the shop.

Mira didn't like this.

She just felt like something wasn't right.

"Dad we should go with her." She protested.

Ezra laughed and ruffled his daughters hair.

"Sweetie she's older than me. I'm sure she can handle herself." He assured.

Mira crossed her arms as the uneasy feeling settled in her stomach.

Mira turned to look for her mother as Ezra continued looking at the supplies.

Then it happened.

Everything was so fast Mira could hardly react.

Two imperial death troopers grabbed her wrists and threw her on a speeder.

Sabine of course tried to fight back, but they had her unconscious in a second.

Mira screamed.

Ezra spun around and saw his wife being thrown on the speeder.

He dropped everything and went running.

He drew his lightsaber and ran faster than Mira had ever seen.

Mira, disobeying her parents orders had secretly stolen a blaster. She took one shot.

And hit the speeder.

Ezra looked at his daughter shocked.

Mira didn't think. She just ran.

They had almost reached the speeder, but the troopers were faster. They had Sabine and were almost at a ship.

Ezra had tears forming in his eyes.

He threw his lightsaber in a desperate attempt to stop them.

They dodged it and in seconds were on the ship, going into hyperspace.

Ezra fell to his knees in tears.

Mira ran over to her father and hugged him.

"Y....you had a blaster Mira?" Ezra asked, still in shock.

"Y...Yes. I'm sorry I just-" Mira started to say.

"No. Don't be sorry. We should've trained you. You knew something was going to happen. I should've listened. Now we have to save your mother." Ezra said, standing up, hugging his daughter.

"But how?" Mira asked, a tear running down her face.

Ezra knew.

"We have to get back to Kanan and Hera okay? After that I'll get a training lightsaber for you. I'll practice with you before we go." He said walking back toward the ship with his daughter.

Mira had many emotions.

She was happy. She was finally going to be trained as a Jedi!

But her main emotion was fear.

She was now on a race against the clock to save her mother.
