Xavier's POV

"So you gonna stay the night?" Cordelia winked at me.

I just blinked at her.

"Just joking, but like if you need a place to stay you can stay here, I have a guest room." She said.

"You sure? What if I drag you into this mess.. you know what happens when you break the laws.." I say, scratching the back of my neck.

"I mean, I don't think anyone will find out you're staying here, all those rumors about how the she can see everything is bullsh*t" she said, rolling her eyes.

She??

I slowly nodded.

"Well then I guess I have no choice, since I don't really have anywhere else to stay" I say as she nods.

"And uh, just curious..how do you know that it isn't true,about the goverment seeing everything...and what do you mean 'she'?" I ask.

No one knew anything about the goverment, they didn't know whether it was a he or a she-let alone whether he or she is a human or not, or how he or she looks like.

Most people thought he was a man, because of his violence, but no one was sure.

"My mom was sentenced to death but she escaped, and she came here, she told me everything then left, because she knew they were coming for her, the next day, she got killed."she said, her brown eyes turning into a darker shade of brown.

"Oh..I'm sorry" I say.

"No its fine, anyways, the government is a woman, she has long black straight hair and she was wearing a white blouse and black skirt that went down to above her knees, and her bright blood red lipstick made everything look scarier for my mom, anyways she also told me how she likes to kill people" She said.

My eyes widened.

I didn't want to know yet I wanted to at the same time.

"Will you tell me?" I ask.

"Sure, so when my mom was arrested and taken to her office, the goverment came out of a grey metal door, with bloody gloves, she took the gloves off and threw them on the ground, and blood splattered all over the floor. Anyways, after she stared at my mom for a moment, she went to her drawer and got another pair of gloves and put them on. She snaped her fingers and my mom was dragged by air to the goverment."

I raised my eyebrow.

"How?" I ask. She simply shrugged.

"The goverment opened the grey metal door again, and what my mom saw was terrifying. She saw a naked woman laying on a long metal table, her wrists and ankles cuffed, and she had a cage to keep her head in place, the most disturbing thing about the woman was that, her stomach was had a large cut, and all her organs were on the floor, oh and also her head was cut off, so like the cage had her head in it." She said, taking a deep breath.

I felt a shiver go down my spine. That goverment is crazy.

"My mom also saw this weird looking mirror in the room, and sh*t. Anyways, the government told my mom that she was going to die a really painful death,  like every other people that was killed by the government and that my mom would be able to see herself die, and it wasnt a choice. She said that she will slowly cut her stomach and rip her organs out painful twisting them, so my mom feels alot of pain and suffer, watching herself die, then she said she would cut her head off with an ax sliting her neck slowly then slowly digging into her throat until she finally dies." She said, taking in a deep breath.

"How did your mom escape... I mean if you don't mind telling me..sorry I'm asking so many questions, I should stop" I say.

"Nah, its fine, I dont mind telling you and you can ask as many questions as you want." She says," so anyways, you see, my mom well- she kind of um..she is the goverment's sister- or atleast that's what my mom told me. So my 'aunt' was going to kill my mom because I'm not sure but my mom always got all the love from her parents and so my aunt hated her so much, and decided to kill her after so many years, and so my mom tried to reason with her, and reminded her of all the good times they had together." She gulped.

"My aunt she suddenly lost control of the power that was holding my mom and left the room, and shut the metal door behind her, my mom took this as her chance and stood behind the door until it opened and my aunt walked in, my mom quickly banged her head on the metal wall and ran out, closing the door behind her and yeah.." she said.

"Wow...I mean- damn" I say, shaking my head in disbelief. "I know right" she said, chuckling.

"Yeah, so since this is getting awkward now, wanna watch a movie?" She suggested, after a moment and I nodded.

I stared at my hands as she got up to put on a movie.

"I'll go to the bathroom" I say, getting up. She gave me a weird look for a second, but then nodded." Down the hallway to the first door to your right" she informs me as I thank her.

I pass by the kitchen and turned around to see if she saw me, she was busy with the tv, so I quickly opened a drawer and found a sharp knife, that is supposed to be for cutting food.

I took it and went on the the bathroom and closed the door.

I looked down at the knife I had in my hand.

I didn't want to die an painful death, not to mention the fact that I have to watch myself getting killed and just thinking about it made me get scared more and more.

And the fact that I broke a legend apparently,  she was going to kill me in the worst way possible, I was sure of that.

So to make everyone's job easier, why not just end my life myself?

My whole life's a lie. There is no point in living anymore.

Honestly,  there never had been.

Everyone wants me dead, might as well just give them what they want.
