The day has come for Y/N and Liv to go on their first official date. By this time, Ruby and AJ also knew about it and gave the two lots of advice for how to go about this. For Y/N, it has been quite some time since he last went out with someone as more than just a friend, so this would be testing him. Liv on the other hand was just overall excited to go with him. She has been debating what kind of swim suit to bring, but in the end she found one of her favorites and grabbed it. Currently the young woman waited in the lobby with her purse in hand.

The way she was smiling really showed how much she looked forward to this day as Liv bounced around on her heels. She finally understood more about Y/N after he told her about what he did in the military. Yes, it really wasn't pretty and got her worried a lot, but she put that aside for now as this was supposed to be a great day with no trouble. After all, their friends wouldn't get involved in anything this time around. Speaking of, just before Liv got down, Ruby told her to play it cool. Not only because of the heat, but also in terms of her feelings for Y/N. Nobody wanted this to suddenly blow up and go overboard immediatly. Liv was an up and coming star, earning herself a Number One Contenders match for the RAW Womens Championship and fans showed immediate support. Her time was coming sooner rather than later and it just felt right.

Her thoughts were interrupted though when the elevator door opened and Y/N walked out, looking a little sleepy, but still with a smile on his face. When Liv saw that, she thought that it was adorable.

Liv:" Gooooood morning, Y/N!"

Y/N:" Mornin' Liv. It's about nine. How are you so awake already?"

Liv:" Some coffee and a chat with Ruby can do that to you. You on the other hand look like a tired puppy."

Y/N:" It was a long night. Not because of anything bad, but I needed some advice for today."

Liv:" You too?"

Y/N:" Hahaha this is a great start already. Don't worry, we'll make this work."

Liv:" I believe that wholeheartedly. Did you have breakfast?"

Y/N:" Yup, made myself some eggs with cheese and spinach. And I had a cup of green tea."

Liv:" Oooh, keeping it light and healthy. Well done, General~."

Liv giggled and smiled at the big man before they made their way towards the car. They took Y/N's Ford Capri to get around that day. Y/N put the bags in the trunk as Liv took her spot in the shotgun seat and turning on the radio. Unsuprisingly, one of her favorite songs came on.

Liv:" This one is sooo good."

Y/N:" Judging by you dancing in your seat, I can definitly see that."

Liv:" If we're having fun today, we're starting off right."

Y/N:" Nothing wrong with that at all. It's a beautiful day already."

Liv:" You little charmer."

Y/N:" I try to stay honest."

Liv:" True and I admire that. Now get your butt in the car. I wanna swim."

Y/N:" Coming."

Both of them laughed softly and Y/N got in the car, strapping himself in and began to drive to the public pool of the city. He would've prefered the beach, but that unfortunately wasn't an option right now. Nonetheless just being with Liv like that was wonderful on its own.

Half an hour later and the two found themselves at the pool, which was well populated.

Liv:" Looks like we're not the only ones to cool down today."

Y/N:" Not by a long shot, but we're gonna find a good spot where nobody will get in our way."

Liv:" Undercover operation?"

Y/N:" Something like that. But we should change first."

Liv:" I have something you will definitly like~."

Liv winked playfully at Y/N and headed off to the womens changing booths while Y/N had to try hard not to get himself wrapped around her finger so easily. Liv was so childish, funny and quirky, but also such a tease. Even now, she couldn't help but make Y/N feel a certain way. To counteract that, Y/N went to the mens changing booths.

Only a few minutes later, Liv walked out first. She was liking the way she looked and she had very clear intensions.

(Without the heels, socks and jacket)

Liv:" I haven't worn this in so long, but today it fits perfectly. I hope Y/N is gonna like this."

Giggling, she took a quick selfie and posted it online with the caption '#SummerDay'. Her social media following grew and grew every day which was a great sight, adding to her push. Being a fan favorite really felt awesome for the young blonde, but her mouth hang open in shock when she saw Y/N in nothing but swim trunks.

Liv:" Holy sh-adoodle."

Y/N:" Something wrong?"

Liv:" Hm? O-Oh no, everything is fine. It's just unusual to see you this way."

Y/N:" I can't go swimming in jeans and a shirt now, can I?"

Liv:" You can do everything at least once in your life, but that's not the point. Umm...I think we should go, right?"

Y/N:" Ready when you are."

Nodding and trying to hide her blush, Liv grabbed Y/N's hand and together they walked to a free area of the pool, just dipping their feet in before going in completely. The water was well tempered actually, so it wasn't a big issue. Liv was the first one to take the liberty of swimming, so Y/N took a step to the side and watched.

Y/N:" Lookin' good there, Liv."

Liv:" You think so?"

Y/N:" Yup. Your form is good and you're in control of yourself. So it looks very well done."

Liv:" Awww thanks, Y/N. You're the best."

Y/N:" I try to."

Liv:" Then get to swimming as well, silly."

Y/N didn't need to be told twice as he got in position and started swimming along with Liv, making it even more fun.

Some visitors looked at the two with interest and the elderly people thought they were so sweet together. They seemed very much like a couple, just like AJ said recently and Liv was close to believing that as well. It was like she finally found herself the one she needed for so long, but she didn't know what Y/N thought about this. Not that she was scared of anything, but Y/N just meant so much to her on so many levels. So when they got some rounds finished, Liv swam to the edge of the pool and sat on it.

Liv:" This man..."

Y/N:" Did you say something?"

Liv:" Nope. Sorry, just thought out loud."

Y/N:" Alrighty."

Y/N dropped back into the water and swam a bit more while Liv looked at him every time he came back. Something caused goosebumps on her skin and her heart was beating a little faster now.

Liv:" Oh Y/N, what are you doing to me? Even the smallest little thing gets the butterflies in my stomach rolling."

Splashing some water on her face, Liv did everything to cool down again, but when Y/N heaved himself out of the pool, it got her attention again to the point that Liv was licking her lips.

Y/N:" Oh hey, are you hungry?"

Liv:" Yeah, a bit...for you."

Y/N:" I've seen a small shop that sells ice cream. How about that?"

Liv:" That sounds wonderful. Can we go there?"

Y/N:" Your wish is my command."

Squealing in excitement, Liv got up and helped Y/N to his feet before they made their way to the ice cream shop. She was acting all adorable ever since this date was set and Y/N had to chuckle every time he saw that. If he didn't know any better, he'd think she was a child caught in an adult's body. That definitly wasn't a bad thing at all as they stepped up to the shop and gave their orders.

Liv:" I just know this will be delicious."

Y/N:" You love ice cream that much?"

Liv:" Sweets in general. I really have a sweet tooth. Ruby often has to stop me from buying too much candy."

Y/N:" I don't blame her. Too many sweets aren't good for anyone. Also, you're sweet enough akready. No enhancement needed."

Liv:" Me? Awww, now you're getting all sweet on me."

Y/N:" I just tell it how it is. Also I didn't forget that you called me boo after UpUpDownDown."

Liv:" I have my reasons...boo."

Chuckling, Y/N ruffled Liv's hair a bit because she was so adorable. Yes, he took her seriously and would never underestimate her, but such moments took the pressure from them. Soon though, they were presented with their cups of ice cream.

Liv:" Wow...this is the best ever!"

Y/N:" I can't wait to try this, believe me."

Liv:" Whoever finishes first without brainfreeze?"

Y/N:" Are you sure you wanna challenge me?"

Her only answer was to start eating, but Y/N wasn't going to lack behind. They really took this seriously as well when they went through with the challenge. Overall the day together was really great from start to finish as the two had a lot of fun together, even in the following hours.

Around four in the afternoon, Y/N and Liv were back at the hotel, this time holding hands as they walked in and were welcomed by AJ, Ruby and surprisingly Mandy Rose.

AJ:" Look at the happy friends."

Ruby:" You seem to have had a great time."

Liv:" Oh we really did. We had one of the best days ever."

Y/N:" Yup. It was great and a lot of fun."

Mandy:" And you're the one everybody is talking about."

Y/N:" Seems that way. I've blown up the internet a bit too much, if that makes sense."

Liv:" And it's gonna be burning soon when he puts Dolph down."

AJ:" An I-Quit match though? Isn't that a bit excessive?"

Y/N:" That depends on who you're asking. I will be face to face with him on Sunday and he's not leaving unharmed."

Ruby:" Great to hear that, but...are you okay after last night?"

Y/N:" As okay as I can be. Trust me, today helped a lot."

Mandy:" We can see that thanks to you two holding hands."

AJ:" Again, might I add."

Liv:" Got a problem with that? C'mon boo, we're going upstairs."

Apparently Liv took offense to the comments and she didn't wanna deal with such jokes from everyone right now. She also saw the looks Mandy gave Y/N, so that didn't sit well with her either. The good thing was though that Y/N didn't like these looks either. A short elevator trip to their floor and Liv and Y/N arrived where they needed to be.

Catching Y/N off guard, Liv got on her tippy toes and kissed him on the cheek as a thanks for such a nice day.

Liv:" Thank you for everything, Y/N. Today was amazing."

Y/N:" It's no problem at all, Liv. I've had a lot of fun as well."

Liv:" And you beat my challenge. I can still feel my brain being frozen right now."

Y/N:" You brought this on yourself. A tip for the next time: Don't challenge a man with a tough side."

Liv:" I'm gonna soften you up sooner or later, Y/N. I've got my ways."

Y/N:" I'd like to see you try then."

Winking at Liv, Y/N unlocked his door and walked into his room, leaving the young lady in surprise. His tough facade seemed to crack slowly but surely and he adapted pretty well to everything. Liv then went into her room to figure out what exactly she would do to him next.
