Next morning Neil stirred in his sleep. He moved his head from pillow to Avni stomach. Neil immediately opened his eye feeling Avni warmth. He looked beside him and saw Avni sleeping in uncomfortable position. He checked her head then entire face.

Neil : did I do something last night..

He then looked at cheek and saw dried tears.

Neil : I'm sure I did something. Then she would be sleeping here in this position and crying. But what did I do?? Did spill everything to her... shit I'm dead now.. god what have I done.. Neil you so stupid you said to drink too much... hold on seeing my bottles my grave is already ready... good bye Avni... I'm dying... bye...

He was talking rubbish when he heard someone phone ringing. He removed Avni hand from him and holding his hand went where the sound was coming from here.

He went to balcony and saw his Phone lying on the follow along with many bottles. Holding his head tightly he bend down and got the phone. He saw Bebe calling him. Then realised Swetha fell from stairs. He picked it up.

Neil : hello Bebe, how is mom?

Bebe : where are you?

Neil : I'm at my friend house. Why?

Bebe : Swetha wants to meet you. Come to Khanna house.

Neil : Bebe i can't come there!

Bebe : Neil come for Swetha!

Neil : let me see what I can do!

He cuts call and saw Avni getting up. He quickly hid this bottles and went inside the room. Avni opened her eye and saw bed empty. She looks around to see him but didn't find him in the room when her eye fell him coming from balcony.

Neil trying like nothing happened yesterday.

Neil : good morning!

Avni looks at him shockingly. She thought how could He forget what happened last night.

Avni : are you talking to me!

Neil : no someone behind you.. can't you see Expect us two no ones is here then off course I'm talking to you.

Avni: you seriously don't remember anything. What happened last night.

Neil thought something then looks at her wide eyes open.

Neil : did we do it last night... wait if we did then why I'm wearing my clothes even you are.. are making fool out of me..

Avni glared him knowing what he was talking about.

Avni : wait let me show you..

Saying this she got up and went to balcony. Neil followed her. Avni saw bottles behind the pants and knew he must had hidden it so she won't she it. She picked it up and brought front of his eye.. Neil got shocked seeing the bottle..

Neil : this... not.. mine..,

He stammering because he knew he must have spilled everything out but can't remember it.

Avni : no its mine. I was showing you how much I drink. Why you doing this? When did you starts drinking. This is not you Neil! Why?

Neil fell on his knew while remembering how he starts drinking and taking drugs along with anti depression pills which Avni is still unaware off it... Avni was shocked to see him.. he was strong brave person but today he isn't. He is broken...

Avni went to him and sat on her knee and kept her hands on him.

Avni : Neil! Share it with me! I have shared my past with you. You already told me half yesterday when you were not in your sense. Neil why all this.. why you ruining your life taking this..

Neil : what... should .. I do then.. I was left alone... you left me.. dad left.. mom Bebe .. they were bounded with promise... having my family but they never give me strength to live.. having.. my dad.. is shame to have me.. why.. because I fell for girl.. who destroyed my life... can love.. in control.. after her death I never thought I will love someone but I fell you.. very deeply.. deeply can't be Expressed... is it my faults she came back into my life and took everything away from me.. I'm really unfortunate to live here.. because of dad I tried dying but every time sir stopped me... I lost all my hope leaving in this world... leaving in your memories drinking taking drugs.. makes me peace.. taking anti depression pills give me hope to live but I'm too Tried.... kill me... I don't want to live here.... this world suffocates me here.. let me die.. I'm useless. If I'm alive then everyone will be in pain... mom cries for me but I can't meet her you know why because of him... she fell yesterday from stairs but i can't see her... let me die.....

Neil covered his face with his both hands starts crying. Avni sat there being numb. She couldn't believed it how much guilt he has without his mistake. She didn't knew how to handle him.

Avni : n...e..il....

Neil: I'm... not... Neil... don't... Call.. you.. leave too... like others...

Avni couldn't hold her tears anymore. She moved his hand hugged him tightly. She cried pressing her lips together not wanting him know her pain seeing him like this. Neil hid his face in crook of neck and cried..

After Hour Neil broke hug and looked away from her..

Neil :sorry!

He got and move to inside when Avni held his hand pulled him to her.

Avni : sorry is enough to say. Why you saying sorry? It's not your fault you fell for her.. you fell for wrong Preston. We will suffer together. We both suffered we will until our death doesn't come to take us. We will die together but never think to leave me alone dying yourself. I'm yours.. if you not with me then what's the point of me being alive... whatever happened can't be changed but for us give chance to live. For me, for you, for our Daughter Anaya. For our happiness we can't let her suffer.. she is not fault in this Neil..we will live together. What if it's small family.. we have us three. We don't need anyone in our family. We can be each other parents. Don't talk about dying it kills me... give Chance to live for us...

She looks at him teary eyes and with some hope he will agree. She forwards her hand to him.. Neil drank his tears hearing her.. he now knows how selfish he was being. He had to live for his Avni and Anaya.

Neil held her hand and nods. Avni smiled in tears. She held it more tight and got up. Both wiped each other's tears as they heard Anaya voice. They looked at the door and saw Anaya coming with Manik. Avneil looked at each other then at them.

Anaya : mamma papa look what chachu brought me.

Neil Removed his hand from Avni and walked out the room. Avni knew he need some alone time. Anaya looks sad as Neil didn't looked at her or her gift.

Anaya : mamma is papa angry with me!

Avni bend down and cupped her face.

Avni : papa can't be angry with his princess. Mamma shouted at him that why he went out.

Anaya : why you shouted at papa? Mamma this is bad!

Avni : sorry baby but your papa disappointed me today.

Anaya : why? Promise me you won't scold my papa.

Avni : promise I won't! You show me what Manik Bhai brought..

Anaya : oh yeah, see this teddy it's so pretty.

Avni smiled at her.

Anaya : mamma can I ask you something.

Avni nods.

Anaya : when are we going back to London. I miss my friends there. Here I don't have any friends to play. I can't even play with chachi because she going to have baby.

Avni looks at Manik then Anaya.

Avni : soon baby we will go back to London. I have to do something before I leave this country.

Anaya : will papa come with us!

Avni : you ask your papa.

She said this as she saw Neil listening to their talks.

Anaya : but papa is not here.

Avni : keep your hand on your heart and ask if papa will come with us back to London or not.

Anaya nods and does what Avni said. Few minutes later Anaya opens her eye and looks at avni.

Avni : what did your heart answer?

Anaya : yes he will come with us!

Avni smiled and hugged her.

Avni ( mind) I just hope you get what you want Neil. It's my promise to you I will bring your family back to you. I know whatever papa ji did is not right but for you I will face papa ji too. Whatever will happen I'll face him. I need to know why papa ji did this to you Neil. For your family I have to face him..

Anaya breaks hug and looks at Manik. Manik was admiring them.

Anaya : chachu let's go!

Neil quickly hid behind pillar and waited them to leave. As they left Neil came to room and saw Avni wiping her tears. Neil stood behind her.

Neil : you said to give us chance then why you crying?

Avni turns and looks at him.

Avni : what's should I do then? Lying to her Anaya it's not easy. I haven't lied to her. Even she know about you but the things was I didn't showed her picture of you or our family. She is still young to bear all this. She is emotional person. If she starts crying or anyone Says anything about her family she would beat them up. She is not only mature kid but also understanding. She knows difference between wrong and right. What will happen when she finds out I won't take her back to London. London wasn't place for her but it's was her childhood memories. Today I feel I have failed to be good mother, wife,daughter and daughter in law. Today I failed everything. I lied to her...

She cried palming her face. Neil pulled her in hug.

Neil : if Anaya wants Live in London then we'll shift there.

Avni : you will go back to London for her.

Neil : I can't lose you both. If Anaya happy being in London then why not.

She tightened the grip.

Avni : will you back to your father.

Neil : never! His son dies that day when he blamed me. I don't have any relation with him.

Avni stayed quiet hearing him. Both stayed in hug. They broke hug after few minutes later.

Neil : you fresh up.

Avni nods and moves to her room. Neil stood there and thought.

Neil ( mind) I know you will try to bring Prakash Khanna back in my life but this time it won't happen. I am not going to say anything to you. You do what you want Avni. Even he comes back in my life then I will accept him for you and Anaya only..

There is three chapters left before I end this story. I wanted to Know if anyone is interested to read epilogue of this story. Though I wasn't planing to give one but if you all interested then I can write it.
